It's time for Episode 5: Cooking by the Book.

Lakitu: Last time on Toad-al Drama Odyssey; The teams competed in a survival challenge, and after proving once again to be useless, Toad was eliminated right after Team 1-UP lost. Today, the teams will fight to please Chef Guy. Yep. He still exists, though I might fire him if he doesn't become interesting enough. Who will find the secret formula? Who will eat their last meal? And is the Dream Team doomed? Find out on Toad-al! Drama! Odyssey!
*intro plays*
Boshi sneaks into Team Metro's area to meet up with Wendy.
Wendy: Oh. You again. Uhm... hi.
Boshi: Hello, lady. You're even lovelier than yesterday.
Wendy: Thanks, but that's not a very high bar. I wear the same bow everyday.
Boshi: I know how you feel. I wear the same shades everyday, but only because these eyes were made to kill.
Boshi lifts up his sunglasses.
Wendy: You're right, they were.
After a little more conversation, the two kiss, and just when they were about to leave, Larry opens to bathroom door.
Larry: I heard everything.
Wendy: If you promise to not tell anyone, I promise not to vote against you.
Larry: It's a deal.
Boshi (confessional): YES! I FINALLY HAVE A GIRLFRIEND TO RIVAL YOSHI'S!
Yoshi (confessional): [b] For the last time, Birdo is not my girlfriend.
*the next morning*
[b]LAKITU: ATTENTION PASSENGERS! WE ARE LANDING AT MOUNT VOLBONO FOR YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE!
The teams meet up in a big kitchen.
Lakitu: Welcome, passengers, to the first and only annual Toad-al Drama Cook-Off. Each team will cook a dish for Chef Guy, and whoever makes the worst dish is going to the Barf Bag Ceremony. If you want, you can figure out a secret phrase to the secret formula to Chef Guy's favorite appetizer, entrée, and/or dessert. If you get it correct, you get the formula. If you get it wrong, your team will be required to make slop in place of that dish. Only one person can attempt. Your thirty minutes starts... now!
The teams scatter to think of a plan.
Boshi: As the team leader-
Yoshi: No one said you were the team leader-
Boshi: I say this dish be hot and spicy.
Yoshi: How do you know what hot and spicy mean? All you eat are cookies.
Boshi: Start on the jalapeno barbeque sauce, now!
Daisy: Wow, aren't you a bundle of joy?
Boshi: Do you wanna be the next one out?
Daisy: Do YOU wanna be the next one out?
Meanwhile, Rosalina is taking charge of Team Cappy.
Mario (confessional): As a sort of mother figure to the Lumas, I trust Rosalina to know what she's doing, as long as she doesn't try for the secret formula.
Rosalina: I think we should put a twist on a classic meal. Any ideas?
Mario (confessional): *sigh*
Luigi: I know grilled cheese and tomato soup are a classic combo, so what if we put an Asian twist on it?
Mario: Don't think I forgot what happened last time we took a risk.
Luigi: Even if it turns out to be a disaster, we can still beat whatever Team 1-UP's doing.
The team looks to their left and finds Team 1-UP's station on fire.
Over at Team Metro, Wendy tries to be the leader.
Wendy: This has to be the most mouthwatering, tastebud-thrilling meal ever.
Larry: I have a master plan.
Birdo: You remember last time you had a master plan?
Larry: We could've beat you if it weren't for King Dad. Now listen. Didn't Lakitu say something about a "secret formula?"
Wendy: Oh s**t. I know where this is going.
Larry runs off to tell Lakitu the secret phrase.
Larry: Ravioli, ravioli, give me the formuoli.
Wendy: Did we get the recipe?
Larry: No, but we did get a container of instant oatmeal.
Wendy: After we lose this challenge, the deal's off.
Wario: What deal?
Larry: Ooh, I'm gonna have so much fun after this.
Lakitu: ATTENTION PASSENGERS! YOUR TIME IS UP! BRING YOUR DISHES TO THE TASTING STATION! Team 1-UP, what do you have for Chef Guy?
Yoshi: The dictator of North Korea wanted us to make make a chicken breast with jalapeno barbeque sauce, but... well...
Yoshi lifts the cover to show Chef Guy a pile of charcoal.
Chef Guy: WHAT THE F**K IS THIS?
Daisy: Yeah, Boshi, what the heck is this?
Yoshi: I'm with them, Hitler.
Boshi: If you're gonna call me a dictator, at least stay consistent.
Lakitu: Team Cappy, what do you have for Chef Guy?
Rosalina: We made for you a bowl of teriyaki noodles, and with it, a springroll filling inside of a grilled sandwhich.
Chef Guy: Not bad for amateurs. And I can actually eat it, TEAM 1-UP. Team Metro, bring out your dish.
Larry embarrassingly grins and brings Chef Guy a bowl of oatmeal.
Larry: If you want, I can give you chocolate chips to go with that.
Chef Guy: DO YOU TAKE ME FOR AN IDIOT? TEAM 1-UP HAD A PLAN, BUT ALL THIS IS IS A BOWL OF INSTANT OATMEAL! NOTHING MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID! YOU! LOSE!
*later that day*
Larry (confessional): Of course we lost, and it's on me. I already know I'm going home, so I'm gonna go out with a bang.
Larry sneaks into the engine room and takes control of the speakers.
Larry: ATTENTION PASSENGERS! I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO YOUR VERY FIRST TOAD-AL DRAMA COUPLE! GIVE IT UP FOR WENDY AND BOSHI!
*that night*
Lakitu: Welcome Team Metro, back to the Barf Bag Ceremony. You have all voted, and the first barf bags go to... Wario... and Birdo. Larry, Wendy, you are the bottom two. The final bard bag goes to... Wendy.
Larry: So, uhm, crazy idea, but would you mind landing and letting me safely climb out instead?
Lakitu: Yeah, that would waste precious ratings.
Larry: Can I at least have a parachute?
Lakitu pushes Larry out of the plane.
Lakitu: Join us next time, where the passengers will compete in their final team challenge. Who will make the merge? Who will fall just short? And will Wario and Waluigi do anything remotely interesting? Seriously, all the spotlight's on Boshi. Find out on the next episode of Toad-al! Drama! Odyssey!

Sorry about the challenge being hastily thrown together. I wanted a cooking contest to go with the location, but I didn't know how to execute it. I at least hope the drama was good enough.
