If there was an option to change red shell behaviors, this game would be more interesting.

You know, red shells have different behaviors in other Mario kart games. For example, In Mario kart super circuit, if you place a red shell behind you, it stays there until another racer pass by, once a racer passes by, the red shell targets the person who passed it.

You know... Maybe if you threw an item directly at it, maybe you could counter it and stop it from getting to you.

The red shells are OP now, it can:
Avoid pits
Jump over walls and pits
Can easily dodge items
it can move faster
and can use cannons and teleporters
