If it's a prediction, call it that. I mean obviously it's not real, but to some ppl it might come off like that.
I think the main thing for me is that you're predicting the release date to be May when Switch 2 won't be out until at least August.

I'm predicting it will release in june because for the original switch, they had a presentation in January and released it 2 months later. 2 months after the switch 2 direct is june.
1What retro tracks would you like to see in MK9

I believe the game will launch with 24 retro tracks. I don't believe that they will be changed too much for 24 players (If we get more tracks that are as wide and boring as Super Mario Bros. Circuit is I'm gonna freak out)
Anyway, here are the tracks I believe will be brought back:

N64: Yoshi Valley, Wario Stadium
GBA: Rainbow Road, Lakeside Park
GCN: Mushroom Bridge, Mushroom City, Dino Dino Jungle, Wario Colosseum

I'm hoping for a hide and seek game mode. I also hope that they have constant DLC and maybe a shop to buy new characters and karts with collected coins. Also, I want them to keep double item boxes and not nerf bagging.

I kinda vibe with it, the arcade design makes a lil' sense, he doesn't have an SNES/64 design to go back to like everyone else, he was already there.
It's kind of crazy to think about how no one else has changed since Gamecube too, won't matter though bc heavies will suck & no one will play him

My prediction is that the tracks won't be wide enough tbh, also someone pointed out that the yellow thing might be a gas can, there might be a gas mechanic where you have to refuel every now & then like F-ZERO. That'd explain the Fire Flower Gas Station right before the line. It worked fine in F-ZERO, but the healing was still on the main path there...no matter what this game will be interesting.
I think the gas station is meant to be like the shortcut on GBA Mario Circuit
It could be the wonder seed. If you look closely it kind of looks like the wonder in the sand world in Mario wonder.

Admittedly I don't recall what Kalimari Desert does to prevent this, I'll try that when I play tomorrow.

It just has a bunch of unmarked out of bounds area and Lakitu will pull you back to the road.

Nintendo Switch 2 looks much better than switch IMO. Also I will grind that new MK game. I don't really like the new DK model but hopefully he's not the meta. I hope they didn't totally nef bagging. Less than a year for me to grind mk8 dx vr!
