what is the point of optional checkpoints
That way you don't HAVE to hit a checkpoint to count the lap. This is more recommended when you're on a Rainbow Road or something and both sides are gaps. It can mess up laps if the respawn is placed wrong.

OOH I'M SORRY, I ONLY WAITED 2 WHOLE YEARS AND THEN THE MODERATION DECIDES MY CHECKPOINT PLACING IS BAD EVEN THOUGH I FOLLOWED THE VERY TUTORIAL THAT WAS GIVEN. I DON'T TRUST THE MODERATION TEAM ANYMORE. I THINK I MIGHT QUIT MKPC.
What track would it have been on? Can I see a picture of where the checkpoints were and see what the problem was?

Where is SNES Rainbow Road ?
11th. It just missed on the list because while my first game on it went terrible, the second time I got to it I came first (which is how I got gold on that cup). I did a second game on gba Rainbow road and still lost (probably because it messes with my mind that there are jumps when there arnt)

Im currently on the SNES star cup and no matter how many times I try to beat it, every-time I come in 2nd or 3rd. for 1, vanilla lake 1 makes me somewhat mad because the ice blocks and the huge water gap, ghost valley 1 is prob the least difficult for me somehow, Mario Circuit 2's jump makes me crash into the wall and makes me lose all speed. but bowser castle 1 its the HARDEST, I remember coming in last place every time and counted how many times I fell into the lava, it was usually 1-3, which by the way is rigged! 1 other thing is that if I ever get to last place is that most of the time I want to get bullet bill, but I get something like triple mushroom. and I've also tried like 12 times on the cup, and I've failed every time
I somehow beat that first try and am currently on SNES final cup

Quick question, how do I unlock Link, Bill Ball, Petey and Dry Bowser?
Bill ball isn’t a character (the closest one I can think of is hammer bro) and they are unlocked by getting trophies in regular mode (link requiring all of them)
