If you took a break, it wouldn’t be your fault if there was a drama on the forum no one dealt with. Let’s say I were to move my bullying of Lely outside of DMs, it wouldn’t be your fault if it wasn’t dealt with. Other mods do exist anyways, even if they aren’t as active. I know you care a lot about your role as mod, which I understand, it shouldn’t be a reason to limit yourself from a break. I’m fine if you don’t take a break even if it means dealing with you, but for the sake of your mental health, it would be the better outcome to take one, since then you won’t be responsible for the forum, a chance to cool down, and wouldn’t be held at gunpoint every time you do something by your haters

Good evening, a somewhat personal topic, which will talk about my vision of the community and my current state, all of this in a somewhat scattered way, because I'M TOO LAZY to think about it -_-
Already I do not like how the community is currently (100% sure you are surprised hap), and especially how it found itself divided into 2, on one side you have the forum, on the other those active on the discord server
Those active on discord are not really problematic in 95% of cases, except ONE, which I will mention later, but which you already know who it is if you know me a little
Then there is the forum, which is made up of 80% fairly immature kids (like Chilli, KirbyBoy, or even 5072 for example), but who in general are just immature, admittedly it's heavy to manage but there is had worse LOL
Afterwards, I don't like how the forum has started to establish rules that don't exist at the base, or that are rather vague, like revives, I know it's boring, but tbh if the revive is relevant, I don't see the problem, but like as soon as someone ups a topic dating from 1 month ago, boom it's the drama, and half of the active people throw themselves on the one who has up to spam "dOn' T rEvIvE oLd TopiCs" without actually explaining why, doesn't matter if the revive is relevant or not lol, or any apologies for the double posts, so I've said it before but technically it's not illegal, even technically a triple post can be legal if the messages have nothing to do! (It's not me who says it, it's the rules)

In May/June/July/August 2022, I was one of those people, and it was already like that lol
And that's when I tell myself that I am partly responsible for this
Seeing someone who had this questionable behavior (which started from a good intention but poorly executed) become a moderator must have motivated people to have this same behavior
And precisely since I have grown a lot psychologically (and also in size but that's not the point), and that my behavior has come closer to those of older people present on the Discord (I had to adapts), I literally find myself stuck between the 2 parts of the community

I agree with everything except... the revive part ? We're out of the nitpick era now... have you looked to the topic Yoshi or Birdo ? People listened to what you had to say about the revives, and they did what you asked them to do. The topic was legit from 2021, the answer was 12 days ago, nobody complained at all while let's not forget that now there is a warning that over a year the topic might be too old (the warning's official btw) but the person kept going, nobody saw that as a problem and they kept going on the original subject, I don't know where you see people complaining about revives now that Ralsei has gone out and his weird obsessions along with him, it was mainly Ralsei who created all of this hatred towards both the word and the action, plus it was back in the beginning of the nitpick era so yeah there would be a problem lol. Aside from that, I understand you need a break. Most of the moderators were criticized at least once. However, you're getting intense backlash on a daily basis. I mean, we need to make a difference between backlash (omg fuck you you're such a bad mod resign already) and advice (I think this was a bad decision. Maybe you should avoid it next time.) But here, it is backlash, I see people complaining about how you're a bad mod, and it's always the same person. Thing is, I don't think that that person would be as good as they say in that role. At this point let Max the fuck alone. And stop calling this dickeating. I just see how Max is hurt by what you're doing, but you don't seem to care, yet it's obvious, he's given signs, but you kept on ignoring them since, oh, you call that not being able to take an opinion. Yet, they just need two things... Comfort and understanding. That way, they will be able to go through and maybe even surpass their sickness, at least mentally. Because they're not going through that alone. And because they have people who understand and support them as people. They don't need much more to at least know a little bit of happiness. Now which path do you take ? The judgemental and rude one who is always backlashing the same and only person ? Or the kind one who is trying to give comfort and understanding, helping them go through their struggles while still giving advice to help them progress ? Hmm ?

As for what I have to say, I agree with the other mods. You definitely need a break from what you have to deal with. Having to get attacked pretty much daily just for not living up to someone’s expectations isn’t a good situation to be in. As for who could manage the forum… I think Max-Bros should. Think he should get another chance after giving his role to Senko
