So last year, I tried to do a Best Super Mario Character tournament where the people on MKPC voted between to characters. I kept forgetting to update it, and silently cancelled it. This time, it's back, but with a theme.
RIDE OR DIES!
It's inspired by the Mario vs. Luigi Tours, which I noticed had characters with strong relationships competing against each other. 8 pairs will be split up into two sides: Red and Green. Here are the competitors.
Mario and Luigi
Toad and Toadette
Peach and Daisy
Yoshi and Birdo
Wario and Waluigi
Pauline and Rosalina (I know they don't really have any chemistry, I just needed another pair)
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong
Bowser and Bowser Jr.
Everyday, two characters from the same side will be put in a poll, while the fans vote for which character is better. On that same day, another poll takes place between their partners on the other side. After the qualifying rounds, 8 characters will remain. If both partners of a pair make it, they will combine into one unit. Now, fans will vote to eliminate one character or pair everyday until two remain. At the final 2, they will vote for one character/pair to win. If the winner is a pair, one more poll will take place between the two partners, with the winner taking home the title of Best Super Mario character.
The first polls, Mario vs. Toad and Luigi vs. Toadette, will begin on Wednesday.

WE CAN ALL AGREE THERE ARE SOME GARBAGE STUFF
so ima just list how the 1st booster course wave sucked by making it in a nutshell
choco mountain mid.
they f*cked up coconut mall.
tokyo blur exists.
paris promenade and shroom ridge are actually alright.
ninja hideway is torture for 200cc.
toad circuit was the new morbius at for like a week and i forgot that it exists too the point i had to search it up.
sky garden just got TOO SIMPLIFIED.
WE CAN ALL AGREE THERE ARE SOME GARBAGE STUFF

I don't think Tour has MK8 tracks, but I don't play Tour either so IDRK
It doesn't, most likely due to the anti-gravity on most of them. But so much of the antigravity in MK8DX is completely unnecessary, so they could remove it from tracks like Toad Harbor and Thwomp Ruins.
I was going to include Water Park instead, but unless Nintendo either adds antigravity or DS RR to Tour, the loop section wouldn't be possible. The antigravity on Dolphin Shoals is just a U-Turn that is on a steep-ish incline. Just make the incline less steep and you can remove the antigrav and add it to Tour!

Then there's this cut in the windmill section.
You can make a sharp turn directly after the bridge, use a mushroom and hop over the fence.
On the second lap, use the middle water whateverit'scalled to get up to the boat, which has a trickable ramp.
Finally, you've got the obvious grass cuts in the tulip section.
