Nintendo Just Leaked Mario + Rabbids 2
On 2021-06-13 at 06:01:35
Honestly, this is hands-down, the best video game trailer I have ever watched. The animation is better than most animated movies now.
Mario dual-wielding those guns gives me some real Star Lord vibes. This trailer really looks like Nintendo and Ubisoft's version of Infinity War/Endgame.
I really hope the Mario movie is like this trailer.

The new game is called Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and it will release in 2022. Now we just need Odyssey 2.

Nice one The_Garfield_Gamer but this links takes you to nowhere.
No wonder why, Nintendo has already deleted the link. It's too late now, the information is already on the internet.

Woah, this is a surprise, but a welcome one! I enjoyed the first game alot, so I'm looking forward to this sequel.

24 [:] Action/Crime Show Masterpiece
On 2021-06-07 at 17:50:53
I haven't really talked about my opinions on TV, except once. But it wasn't all that detailed. In short, I don't really enjoy TV anymore. But there's one genre that keeps me from quitting television. Crime shows. I love the aspect of crime shows. Here's a list of crime shows I watch.
NCIS
NCIS: New Orleans
MacGyver (the reboot)
Magnum P.I (the reboot)
Hawaii Five-0 (the reboot, my personal favorite TV show.)
But there's one recently that I can't stop watching. 24. I've been watching it on Roku Channel for a couple months now.
So, what's it about? It's about Jack Bauer, an agent of CTU (Counter Terrorism Unit) in Los Angeles stopping terrorist attacks before they happen. Nukes, biological weapons, presidential assassinations, you name it.
The show has a really interesting way it sets up its seasons. Bare with me here, it gets kinda confusing.
Each season takes place in 24 hours, hence the name of the show. Each episode is 1 hour long, meaning there are 24 episodes in a season. If the show starts at 12 AM, it will end at 12 AM the next day.
This is one of those shows where you HAVE to start at the beginning of the first season, because each season builds upon the last. There are 8 seasons in all, including 1 movie that takes place between seasons 6 and 7.
Jack Bauer is just.. insane. Take Bryan Mills from Taken and amp his particular set of skills by 100x and you got Jack Bauer. The way he yells and tortures suspects is some of the best moments of the show.
I won't spoil the seasons because you need to watch the show for yourself. The show has a ton of plot twists, which again, I won't tell you.
Keep in mind, the show does have cursing and tons of violence, so if you aren't a fan of those things, don't watch it. You can watch the show on Roku Channel and Hulu.
So, that is my review of 24. Maybe I might do more TV shows reviews in the future? Who knows, we'll see.

What is your favourite Mario game?
On 2021-05-28 at 21:22:11
Wario's Woods sucks, I don't know why LuigiDawg liked it so much
Nope, you're just bad. My DAD can play the game. If you're gonna say that stuff you gotta give reason.
Darn 9 year olds think your opinions are always the correct ones. I can understand some new players such as you may have a hard time understanding the game, but that doesn't mean it "sucks". I'm just more of a fan of Puzzle games than you are. Similarly, while I disagree with your opinion on Odyssey, I don't think you're outright wrong. I just have a different opinion. If someone wants to play and try to like Super Mario 64, they can.
Actually, I do have reason. It's because I can't understand it. You're right. (Also, I'm not a Kirby main. I'm a Mario main.)
Also, you must be more of a fan of puzzle games than I am. I hate Paper Mario: The Origami King.
1. He was talking about me.
2. We joke about each other all the time, it's just a joke.
3. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it's bad.
4. Don't talk trash about people for not having the same opinion as yours.

10. Super Mario Sunshine
Despite the game being the most jank game in existence, just like LuigiDawg said, that's what makes it fun. Also, you said it's the worst video game ever? Nah dude, there are games WAY worse. You would hate Crash Bandicoot. Anyway, great worlds, great story, FLUDD being amazing and broken, and infinite dive makes this a great game.
9. Mario Kart 7
Amazing tracks, the new mechanics are great, and the best retro track selection ever, including the best online play.
8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Amazing graphics and great tracks. Not much else I can add.
7. Super Mario Galaxy 2
A beautiful and colorful game that pushed the Wii to its limits.
6. Super Mario Galaxy
While darker than Galaxy 2, I prefer Galaxy slightly more.
5. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
A fantastic RPG with hilarious dialogue and great combat. Also, Starlow straight up verbally abusing Luigi.
4. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (3DS)
Same as BIS, but the combat is better and I think the jokes are slightly funnier.
3. Super Mario Odyssey
What an amazing game. I would love to experience playing this game again for the first time. And yes, the game isn't perfect. Some of the worlds are terrible and too small.
2. Paper Mario 64
An amazing RPG that has stood the test of time. Everything about this game is amazing.
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
What is there to say about this game that hasn't already been said? While I do think it is overexaggerated, it's still a phenomenal game. Also, ALL HAIL THE LIFE SHROOM POKEY.
Honorable Mentions:
Paper Mario: The Origami King
This game gave me hope for a bright future for Paper Mario.
Paper Mario: Color Splash
The funniest Mario game, period. Huey is also the best Paper Mario partner, period.
Mario Super Sluggers
Same reasons as LuigiDawg.
Super Mario 3D World
Great 2.5D game.
Yes, I know, I had a hard time playing Wario's Woods, leave me alone-

What is your favourite Mario Kart game?
On 2021-05-31 at 19:57:32
I won't be ranking Home Circuit because it is a TOY, NOT a Mario Kart game.
Also, no arcade games because they were made by Namco.
I'll throw in MKPC for the heck of it.
9. Super Mario Kart
This game has not aged well in the slightest. The tracks are mediocre and the drifting is horrible.
8. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
A graphical update of Super. The tracks are slightly better, but still pretty bland.
7. Mario Kart Wii
I'm gonna say it...
I don't like Mario Kart Wii.
Go look at my topic I made about my hatred for Wii.
6. Mario Kart 64
Mario Kart's first jump to 3D was a good one. Some good and classic tracks in here. The drifting is meh and the rubber banding is awful.
5. Mario Kart PC
I'm basing this completely off the game itself, not the forum. Pretty great track remakes and the items are great. The Bullet Bills in Airship Fortress is terrible and the Bob-Ombs are way too OP.
4. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Almost all the tracks are amazing, the two characters idea is brilliant, and this game has Waluigi Stadium. Do I need to say anymore? Also, the game's drifting isn't terrible, you guys are just bad-
3. Mario Kart DS
The controls are the best in the series. It has Mission Mode. It has Waluigi Pinball. Again, do I need to say anymore?
2. Mario Kart 7
The gliding and underwater mechanics in this game are great. The vehicle customization in this game is brilliant. It also has amazing tracks. It has the best retro track selection in the series, yeah that's right, I said it. The best online play too. It also has Waluigi Pinball. Personally, this is my favorite Mario Kart.
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
The graphics in this game is just... insane. Mario Kart's graphics have never been stunning, they've mostly just been "gets the job done". The tracks are amazing. The anti-gravity mechanic is great too.
Also, Sunshine Airport is overrated, like only 10% of the track is actually in the airport, it should be called "Sunshine Airfield". The track is mediocre.
That's mysomewhat controversial opinions on the Mario Kart franchise.
Also, no arcade games because they were made by Namco.
I'll throw in MKPC for the heck of it.

My GameCube Memory Card Got Corrupted
On 2021-05-31 at 20:48:43
Less than 5 minutes ago, I booted up my GameCube to see that my memory card has been corrupted and I had to erase my memory card.
Great, now I've lost all my progress on my GameCube games, including the almost 30 hours of gameplay I have put into TTYD. Now I have to start the game all over again. Screw you, memory cards, this is why you don't exist anymore.
Maybe I'll document my second Let's Play of TTYD here on MKPC.
Just felt like I had to rant here btw.

My Thoughts On Sonic Central
On 2021-05-28 at 20:31:14
So for those of you who don't know, yesterday, Sega hosted a Nintendo Direct-like livestream to announce new Sonic stuff since this year is his 30th anniversary. So here's my thoughts on it. Yes, I do play Sonic games.
Sonic Colors Ultimate is a remaster of the game on Wii. Finally, I can play the game with an actual controller.
No info on Sonic Prime, a new Sonic show coming to Netflix next year. Just one of the producers saying nothing about it.
New merch looks neat.
Sonic Origins is just ports of the first 5 Sonic games. At least Sega acknowledged Sonic 3 & Knuckles exists. Apparently, there is supposed to be new content though.
Then a new Sonic game was revealed at the end with literally no info about it. Sega, you can't do the whole "one more thing" stunt at the end if you're not gonna show any info on the game. Did they think we would all be like, "Oh thank God, we know Sonic runs in this game"? I'm not saying the game is going to be bad, but the reveal was terrible.
All in all, it was just OK. I think this is even worse than Mario's anniversary. Sega, just don't screw up this new game.

If you were to add 10 more characters to Ultimate, who would it be and why?

Paper Mario
Hnnngh, I need him. If they went for retro, modern, or both, his moveset would be a blast.
Crash Bandicoot
It's Crash Bandicoot.
Geno
It's Geno.
Hat Kid
I really like A Hat In Time, so I would love to see Hat Kid in Smash. P e c k n e c k.
Crewmate/Imposter
Is Among Us dead? Kinda, but I still think they should add it into Smash. Guess they could do it like Pyra/Mythra.
Shy Guy
I like Shy Guy. Dunno how they would do his moveset.
Toad
I think he would be.. interesting.
Henry Stickmin
A really funny video game series and character that would be perfect for Smash.
Bandana Waddle Dee
We would have the crew from Return to Dreamland.
Phoenix Wright
I have no idea how they would pull it off, but I really would like to see him in Smash.

So, it's been a month. Where have I been? No, I didn't die, quit MKPC, or get kidnapped by the mafia.
Seriously though, the reason I've been gone is because of a breach in my family's privacy, so I had to quit. I'll be back eventually, but for now, no new topics from me or messages. I'll check back here every once in a while. I'll come back when the issue is fully resolved. See you guys.

I did play hide n seek with Toad64 and LuigiDawg in MKPC. It was a blast. I would totally do it again. Best maps were DK Pass and Delfino Square.
Also, can we have an official hide n seek tournament please, I would love to help host it-

What's The Rarest/Most Expensive Video Game You Own?
On 2021-03-27 at 14:57:59
For me, it's a close call between Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Mario Party 6. Makes sense, since GameCube games are so hard to get nowadays.
The average price for TTYD (on eBay) is between 80-200. And some of those are just the discs! Mine is CIB (Complete In Box, which means everything the game came with back in the year the game came out, like the manual or promotional stuff is still in there) which makes it even more valuable. TTYD is also pretty rare nowadays as well. I (technically) got mine for free because the store I bought it from has in-store credit. The original price was $100.
The average price of Mario Party 6 (on eBay) is between 100-300. And again, mine is CIB. I got it for $80 from a local store I was in while visiting a town. Mario Party 6 is even more rarer to come across than TTYD. And if you didn't find a good deal like I got on mine, it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg to get this game (unless you mod your PC to play GameCube games.)
So yeah, those are my rarest/most expensive video games I own. What's yours?

March/Early April: Miitopia

Ranking The Mario & Luigi Games
On 2021-03-02 at 20:09:48
I'm really making this topic for two reasons.
1. I've gotten into the M&L series lately.
2. In respect of this series because of Alphadream filing for bankruptcy.
Keep in mind, I've only played Superstar Saga, Bowser's Inside Story, and Dream Team. So take what I say about Partners In Time and Paper Jam with a nice heaping of salt. And with that let's get on to the ranking.
5. Paper Jam
This really could've been an amazing crossover game. But they chose modern Paper Mario, so all we got was regular paper enemies and no original Paper Mario characters. Plus, there's basically no original Mario & Luigi characters either in this game and the story is pretty bland. Bowser and Paper Bowser steal both Peaches... and that's about it. It's not a bad game, far from it. It just could've been better.
4. Partners In Time
Yep, time traveling to the past, teaming up with your past selves, even though that would destroy the space-time continuum, and stop aliens from evading the past version of the Mushroom Kingdom. Very... unique plot. Nothing really happens in the plot until the end of the game, so eh. Not bad, just not the best game either.
3. Dream Team
Remember that block person from BIS? Well, he lives on an island with people that look exactly like him and the island is themed about... sleeping and that there was an ancient race that were sentient pillows. You go into Green Mario's dreams and mess around in there. Pretty good plot. Also the first 3D M&L game. Just the tutorials are aplenty and they take F O R E V E R. The only bad thing about this game, really.
2. Bowser's Inside Story
Toads get phat, Fawful returns and gives Bowser a mushroom that gives Bowser the power of s u c c
And Mario and Green Mario are stuck inside Bowser's body. Probably the best plot in the series and you get to play as Bowser alot. Also, get the original game, don't get the remake if you're planning on getting this game.
1. Superstar Saga
Mario and Green Mario go to the Beanbean Kingdom and engage in foreign policies when Cackletta and Fawful steal Peach's voice. Come On! is an amazing battle theme and Come On, Again! (the 3DS version) is an amazing boss battle theme. The battling is perfect. Only real complaint is that the final boss does get stupidly hard. Also, get the remake, it's the best way to play this game.
So, that's my opinions on the M&L series. So, what do you think of this franchise?
1. I've gotten into the M&L series lately.

Since everybody is just going to hate on me for my opinions and clearly nobody read the rules I had, and never even shared their own hated Mario game, I'm going to lock this topic. Have a nice day, ya filthy animals.
Yes, I still make jokes even if I'm slightly frustrated, sue me.

Whether you like certain Mario Kart Games is debatable, but putting Mario Kart worse then a snes game that is an education game shows you really don't know how bad these games get.
Also, Mario Kart SUPER CIRCUIT???? Super Circuit has EVERY SMK track, PLUS MORE. So putting Super Circuit but not SMK makes NO sense when it comes to the features of games. This is your least favorite games, not the objectively bad ones.
SuPeR CiRcuIt mAkEs Me DizZy is not a good excuse. That's the game SYSTEM buddy, not the game's fault.
Apparently, you all didn't read the rules at the top. I stated you can only rank bad Mario games you've played. Also, I said Super Mario Kart makes me dizzy, not Super Circuit. You're twisting my words. It would've been unjustified if I ranked Super worse than Super Circuit. Plus, Super's tracks are terrible as well, along with Super Circuit.
I do know about the SNES learning games but I've never played them.
And also, yeah, that's the point. It's the worse games you've played.
Also, no, @LuigiDawg, I've never played Rio 2016.
