for me in MKPC, it would be the banana.
Bananas are great in MKPC. When you get Blue Shelled while you have a banana behind you, you will land on the banana meaning you only have to wait 1 second to keep going instead of 3.
Half the time I get blued OVER the banana... so I spin out the full time then run into it...

This would really help on circuits which Nintendo keeps copyright striking the music videos. I think this feature could make it so much easier to have music on a course. And as OneSome said, you wouldn't have to store it on the server and therefore you wouldn't have to use up your storage space.

guys ya can't use retro tracks that have already been used like melody motorway.
Nintendo re-uses retro tracks though, like SNES Rainbow Road was in Super Circuit, 7, and 8

That's because the quick mode editor only places one checkpoint if the track is short enough. So, going back and forth over that one checkpoint counts the lap
If this was fixed, it would ruin the time trial leaderboards for such tracks, so it would not be good to fix
