Be at least a little grateful. These requests spam the forum literally every time someone joins it and this is bullshit reasoning to add insult to injury. And to actually gaslight Wargor for not making a feature that simply wouldn't work (and I presume you didn't really think about how so) is just... not very good of you to do. There actually needs to be like an FAQ for this game because holy shit there are so many of the same things asked for over and over again. But anyway, no. We are not getting gliders, just think about how that feature would be incompatible with the game. Besides - a slight inconvenience with cannons is NO reason to plead for this. If you really MUST not use cannons, make a really high boost ramp.
Now then, I doubt you've read all this, but TL;DR: Gliders wouldn't work in this game and the reasons you've asked for them don't make sense.
