in new york minute 2, you can break the pipes.
I've talked about this in many tracks, and it's best to manually draw a wall in by editing the image and then map collisiom for that, as pipes can be destroyed and have weird collision.

Everyone has to able to reach eachother. Otherwise, if there are 2 groups of 4 that can't get to eachother, there will eventually be 1 left in both groups. Now, with 2 players that can't reach eachother, one is forced to kill themselves with items.
