Q: Who was the first woman to win a gold medal in the Olympics?

A: Hélène de Pourtalès became the first female Olympic champion as part of the winning team in the 1-2 ton sailing event. Charlotte Cooper was the first woman to win an individual Olympic event after winning the women's singles tennis competition.

Yeah, yeah, we get it. You know how to use Google. Well done. We are all very proud of you.

Fun fact. Shortcat is in my opinion the best Mario kart youtuber. You could say that this isn't a fact and you would be right. Even if it is I already know I'm talking about a matter of opinion so I should listen to other's thoughts.

Fun facts: No matter what you do you will kill animals, being vegan doesn't help that. Farmers burn down forests and build farms and ranches on top of it. So if you feel bad then remember that animals live with survival of the fittest and mercilessly kill other animals. Did the cow ever care about the plant's feelings? Neither did the wolf that ate that cow.

If you still want to be a TRUE vegan, you'll die in 3 weeks because thousands of animals have lived in drinking water before.

The average height for people in the 1800s was 5’6. This means that Napoleon was actually taller than average height with a 5’7.

Fun fact : Team Fortress 2 is a game that came out in 2007 in the Orange Box alongside Portal and Half-Life 2 episode 2
(which probably means these games are older than most people here)

In Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, it is possible to warp from South pronvince area 5/6 all the way to the top of the Glaseado Mountain, by following this path, without touching the ground after you jump off the top of the mountain
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1060625334531280948/1217573183238963210/IMG_3211.png?ex=66048464&is=65f20f64&hm=6e97c356cbdb9dc153881b31921a95d577b16babec1eb28cba0b1ac59be8ded3&
The reason this works is because the game warps you back to the last solid ground you were standing on, so if you don’t touch any ground in this journey, the last piece of ground you were on would be the top of the Glaseado Mountain

An interesting thing about this is that while you’re climbing up the mountains in West Province 1, you will climb past the icerend shrine (Chien-Pao) which happened to be how I discovered its location

Fun fact: During WWII the Nazis tried to make a barrel attachment that would allow soldiers to shoot around corners. It was called the Krummlauf. There were there variants the 30 degree version, the 45 degree version, the 60 degree version and the 90 degree version. Only the 30 degree one was produced in any significant numbers. The lifespan of the Krummlauf was terrible. Even the best 30 degree version which lasted the longest since the angle was the least sharp, only managed to last for 300 rounds. The slightly shaper angled 45 degree version nearly cut that number in half. Another huge problem was that the bending caused bullets to fragment in the barrel which caused an unintentional shotgun effect. After WWII the soviets experimented with it a little and then the idea of curving bullets was mostly abandoned.

Omega's final WR on DS Yoshi Falls for the Wii was one of the most iconic WRs of all time for 3 things:

1. Barely anyone had contact with Omega

2. Omega's time was 59.000 exactly

3. It was the first MKWii WR to last 1000+ days
