playing the game doesn't only have to be online ngl, i get the base game tracks can be hard or there might be people in online spamming insults and all that junk so it's kinda fair for people not to go there
when ppl say play the game it can be time trial, playing custom tracks, creating custom tracks, etc. if you play the game enough then sure yap on the forum all you want but it's kinda annoying seeing some users post 10 messages here everyday and then not having played the game for more than 2 hours total

pretty true, but if thats the case why not seperate the forum and the website between 2 different sites i feel like that would seperate the 2 groups of people who come for the forums and the game better (dont say we tried this 100 years ago jokes cuz this isnt even like that lol)
What's the point in separating them though? It just makes it harder to access one from the other and is unnecessary, also likely not changing the amount of people playing the game. There would also be the higher cost due to having multiple sites, so it simply isn't worth it and achieves nothing.

Yeah mate, the person who sends a message maybe every 2 weeks, and has never been the most active user, is spamming, unlike the one who is sending 4 messages in a row, and appears to have been most active on the forums before. MB, I might just have to report myself and get banned for this terrible offence.

The rules that the site tells you to read? And I don't think reading a description is going too deep, nor reading one of the most recent topics they just so happened to be on. I don't think there should be a message limit as people like to communicate on here with likeminded people. Furthermore, playing the game and using the forum is not mutually exclusive and forum activity may incentivise further gameplay.
