You can actually modify which keys do what in the game. Simply click play game and then click the little three-lines symbol near the bottom left of your screen.
Too lazy to check right now but I'm fairly certain the key changing bit is in the "advanced settings."

have you heard of this thing called changing your controls? + making MKPC only use WASD would make some members unable to play, cause AZERTY Keyboards (and other keyboards) exist. so Arrow Keys are selected by default cause of that "keyboard barrier" and the cause of that is due to a portion of the community speaking english, and another speaking french, some other "minority" languages (such as spanish) might be spoken here too.
