In MKDS we can actually drift in the mud in DS Luigi's Mansion, and the remake in SNES Choco Island 2. So, my suggestion is to make it where you can drift in the mud without slowing down. Similarly, you can also drift in the water the remake of SNES Koopa Beach 2.

Might not happen but an update I would suggest is to add the replay option to Grand Prix and VS mode to rewatch your performance.

Add some cool effects when driving or drifting in the track and off-road. Mud, dirt, sand, snow.

Less weight for CPUs in the harder modes. The slightest bump and they bodyslam you halfway to kingdom come. I like the harder modes but I think the increased weight characteristic is a bit much. So that's my suggestion. Less weight.

Idk, maybe add some GOD DAMN MUSIC IN THE RACES. Sounds so damn silent without it. Just SFX.....
you know there's an option for turning on and off music and sound effects, right?

Maybe chage the items' looks' to maybe Mario Kart GBA and change some fanfares? Such as race start, and change the POS to the MKDS style?

1. I don't see any differences between the kart sprites. You can tell me what's new.
EDIT: I see now. The last 2 sprites are different. I actually like them more.
2. I don't like the new icon. I think it would be better to either change the color of bow or don't change anything. Anything but using that new sprite, sorry.
3. I actually like the new podium sprite.
