@MoreThanEpic I agree with you, that's not the same thing at all. But let me explain my point of view.
When a track, or anything, gets overrated, overplayed etc. It doesn't becomes automatically bad. However it won't help a track to be better, and on the other hand, it would make the track even worse : WP is a very meh track in the original, to my eyes, yet it's very very very very overhyped. It's a pinball track, the concept is creative and that's it.
I don't see how something that belongs to Waluigi is that extraordinary anyways : y'all act like if Waluigi was an incredible character, with much charisma and all the blah blah ; not at all. Waluigi is made to be an asshole (sorry), as well as Wario, they're clichés of the annoying idiots... To me, Waluigi is ugly (and you can be sure, I almost never say this about anyone), overhyped, meh, annoying, and ESPECIALLY, CRINGE.

It is clearly not, imo. The first turn is good, then it goes wrong. The ground looks super weird and too simple (black with green points). There is a lot of sharp turns, the track feels repetitive after 10 seconds.
And the pinball... man, it's a missed opportunity. I remember going to the house of my aunt to celebrate New Year. She located a pinball for the celebration. It feels so exciting, full of life, colorful and there is just everything going on.
While on this pinball... some bumpers, some walls, some balls and two things that throw you off. It's okay, but trust me it could have been way better.
And Waluigi is a prick imo, no matter what you say, he's just ugly, stupid and boring. He's also very cringe, like y'all love to say

Don't exaggerate neither, Waluigi Pinball is NOT a good circuit at all. Certainly some DS tracks were worse. But man, this is a pinball theme. The potential they had was gigantic. And they did an okay (at most) track only ? And don't take as excuse "it was made 17 years ago" because I have more fun on DS Figure-8 Circuit or DS Yoshi Falls than on DS Waluigi Pinabll lol. Plus I feel even more bitter since everybody screams "ICONIC ICONIC" while it should be iconic for being a missed opportunity.
It's not that horrible ; yet it's far from any words you could use to define as good.

I know. It also happened to me. Though, there can be different levels of this. As an example, you could blindly love a game because it reminds you your childhood, even if it's bad for many others, or you could simply like it a bit more than the objective

I'm sorry Bunny. As much as I dislike Waluigi Pinball, it's DEFINITIVELY NOT THE WORST.
Examples :
- SNES Bowser Castle 2 : wtf is this. The dead end, the holes everywhere, the thin road and the tight turns doesn't help it. The cherry on the cake : the music. Is that even a Mario Kart music ?
- SNES Choco Island 2 : The straight line that goes to the chocolate lake gives me Anorexic Road vibes. And the chocolate lake section is messed up. The excessive amount of mini ramps at the end makes this track even worse.
- SNES Mario Circuit 3 : It is undersized and makes the track horrible to drive on
- SNES Koopa Beach 2 : Straight up horrible. Nintendo was drunk when they did the track.
- SNES Vanilla Lake 2 : Same, but worse
- SNES Donut Plains 3 : Like MC3, it's super undersized and feels cramped. It's also way too thin.
- SNES Ghost Valley 3 : no words
- SNES Mario Circuit 4 : no words pt 2
- SNES Bowser Castle 3 : no words pt 3
- SNES Rainbow Road : It's literal hell. It's way too thin, it's unfun, the music is horrible, and there is even 90 degree turns.
- actually most of the SNES and GBA tracks. Understandable since MKDS was made later.
So yeah ; meh, yet definitively not the worst. DS RR also exists
