I think that the Dark Shell should be kept in the game even after this April Fools' Day, but this item should be unavailable in standard item distribution, so you won't be Dark Shell'd in Online Mode. Also I think that item-themed setup options in challenge editor should also have the Dark Shell.

Here's some small things 
:
- Flag and username colour display in the online mode and time trial ghosts.
-Infinite number of teams and colour wheel for team games.
- Coins from challenges appear even when not playing in challenge mode (can be turned off in more options in the character select)

Yeah it can get absurd. If you take a small cut after the 2nd jump of Cheese Land or cut right before the bridge in Lakeside Park, while youu can cut the whole oasis in Yoshi Desert and the game will be like "peace ✌"

Well, it's supposed tk be a hole in the original. At this point there's much more you should be able to do in these tracks, but, no, you're supposed to stay on track which is logical.
