Fanfic: Mario & Friends' Crazy Adventures

This fanfic is going to be based off of Super Mario Maker 2 Levels made by me and YellowPikmin!

There is going to be a lot of episodes (1 level = 1 episode) separated by stories (example: Story 1, Episode 1)

The first story is going to be 2 episodes long.

The second story is 40 episodes long.

The third story is going to be 38 episodes long.

The fourth story is going to be 5 episodes long.

The fifth story is going to be 3 episodes long.

The sixth story is going to be 6 episodes long.

The seventh story is going to be 5 episodes long.

The eighth (25 levels) and ninth (4 levels) stories are going to be 38 episodes long each. It is YellowPikmin's decision to release his levels so I could see how the story goes.

Any opinions about the number of episodes?

In the middle of Goombandit Desert, there was a light blue Toad called Toadavius Shroomman, but the others called him Dave. He came to this desert because he wanted to do an expedition here, but nobody wanted to go here and the Mario Brothers were already busy with another adventure. He was sweating from the heat as he ran out of water.

Dave: Oof... Why didn't I decide to cancel this expedition since nobody wanted to join? I wonder if I will make it out alive?

As he continued his path, he noticed a green pipe nearly buried by the sand.

Dave: Huh? A pipe? I think I'll take a look inside, as this is probably my only way to survive...

The mushroom person then jumped into the pipe, hoping to leave this place for good. However, he splashed immediately into water.

Dave: Water? In the middle of the desert?

He decided to take a drink of the water, as he had no other option because he was thirsty.

Dave: It's even good!?

He then swam deep inside the water to find another pipe. It wasn't easy, as there were some Cheep Cheeps in his way. He finally found a second pipe.

Dave: Let's hope this pipe brings me back home...

He then got out of the pipe only to find out he was back in the same desert. He saw an arrow sign written "This way: Pokey Town" on it nearby.

Dave: I should follow the arrow. I hope I am welcomed here...

As he started to go the way the arrow sign pointed, he suddenly was face to face with three creatures that were similar to Goombas, but were wearing a Spiny shell on each of their heads. One of them noticed the Toad.

Goombandit: Hey! You're not supposed to be here! This is private property! Get lost!

Dave avoided the three Goombandits, entered a brick castle and locked the door to prevent his pursuers to chase him.

Dave: Geez, those guys were rude... I wonder how Pokey Town looks like?

He then got out of the castle by the other door. The Goombandit patrol noticed him and ran toward him. The light blue Toad decided to knock them out. He then walked straight to find Pokey Town. There was one Pokey welcoming him.

Pokey Town Guide: Welcome to Pokey Town! It's a calm, little desert town. Not many people come visit this place since Goombandit Desert is a private colony of the Goombandits...

Dave: I see...

Pokey Town Guide: What brings you here anyway?

Dave: Well... I've read some books about this place. It apparently was owned by the Mushroom Kingdom a long time ago, but it didn't really tell any details about it...

Pokey Town Guide: Oh! You're into history I see! Have a tour around the town. The first house is where a mother and kid reside, we're not sure about the father... The second house is a shop, you can find some power-ups here. The final house is where the Elder resides, he know a lot about the history of this place.

Dave decided to enter the family's house first, because he wanted to meet some ordinary residents before meeting important ones. There were two Pokeys: a small one and a female one. The small Pokey noticed him first.

LP: Hi! My name is Little Pokey, or LP for short. You must be one of the mushroom guys that the Elder knew about!

Dave: Uhhh... Maybe he knew about the Toads that lived here years ago... But not me, I'm not one of them...

LP: Mommy look! A mushroom guy from the Elder's story came into our home!

LP's mother turned around to look at Dave. She was a bit surprised, but she decided to greet him.

LP's Mother: Hello, what is your name?

Dave: My name is Toadavius Shroomman, but the other Toads call me Dave.

LP's Mother: Pleasure to meet you. Are you visiting our town?

Dave: Yes, and I must continue my visit. Bye!

The mushroom man left the house and went for the shop. There was a sign written "Pokey Town Item Shop. DO NOT eat the frog suits!!!" on it. He entered the shop. There was a Pokey with red eyes wearing a green cap inside. He saw Dave and greeted him like any Shopkeeper would do.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: Hello and welcome to my shop! What would you like?

Dave looked at the items that were on sale: super mushrooms, fire flowers, super leaves, frog suits, 1-up mushrooms, p switchs, POW blocks, trampolines and different kind of blocks.

Dave: I'll take a fire flower, please.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: That will be 4 coins.

Dave gave 4 coins to the shopkeeper and got a fire flower. He put the flower in his pockets, just in case any other problems was in front of him. Dave left the item shop.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: Have a nice day! Oh, and if you see a Goombandit, tell them that frog suits aren't food!

Dave then entered the Elder's house. There was a Pokey wearing a Spiny shell on their head and a very tall Pokey that looked very old. The one with the Spiny shell noticed him first.

Pokey Town Guard 1: Hello. Are you there to hear about the Elder's "bedtime" stories?

Dave: If you mean this by the story about this place, then yes.

Dave approached the Elder of Pokey Town. The old Pokey looked at him and greeted him.

Pokey Town Elder: Hello young Toad, do you want to listen to one of my stories?

Dave: Sure! I need to know more about this place!

Pokey Town Elder: Alright. A long time ago, Toads used to live in this desert back when the Mushroom Kingdom owned it. One day, the Goombandits arrived and saw the Toads being nice to the Pokeys that lived here. The Goombandits decided to make an alliance with the Toads. A few weeks after the alliance was signed, the Goombandits betrayed the Toads and declared war. During the war, the Goombandits bombarded the Toads' temple, killing Shroom Desert's ruler in the process. Without their leader, the Toads decided to surrender, thus the Goombandits won the war. Shroom Desert's name changed into Goombandit Desert and one of the things that is left from the Shroom Desert era is the ruins of the temple. What do you think of this story?

Dave: This explains everything to me!

Pokey Town Elder: Glad you liked my story. Come back another day if you want to hear another of my stories.

Dave left the Elder's house and noticed a fountain with a purple pipe that was hanging on top of the fountain like a sink. There was another Pokey guard that was looking at the fountain.

Pokey Town Guard 2: The Water Pipe is malfunctioning again... They haven't come to fix it yet... I can't just do that myself, I can't fit in this stupid pipe!

Dave: Is there anything wrong?

Pokey Town Guard 2: Yeah. The water isn't coming down from the Water Pipe, so we cannot drink water until the Goombandits come here to fix the problem... Wait, you seem to be able to fit in that pipe! Do you think you could fix it yourself?

Dave: Sure, I'll try!

The light blue Toad then entered a pipe next to the Water Pipe. He wandered around the canals, shooting Koopas with his fire flower. He then noticed an opening in a pipe.

Dave: So this must be the problem!

Dave then grabbed a tool that was on the floor and fixed the pipe. He got a bit wet in the process, but the water is now flowing through the pipes! He went back outside the pipe to see the Water Pipe full of water. The Pokey Guard was bouncing in joy.

Pokey Town Guard 2: Great Job, you fixed the Water Pipe! We can finally get water again! Thank you so much!

Dave smiled, but he was more worried than happy. He wasn't sure how he could come back home, as there wasn't any airport nearby and it was in the middle of night. He went back inside the Pokey family's house.

LP's Mother: You're back! Need anything?

Dave: I need some sleep, because I'm too sleepy to search for an airport and it's too dark outside...

LP's Mother: Sure! There is a second bed in my child's room. It used to be in my room, but since my husband is gone, it's now for guests.

LP: Yay! We have a guest that will sleep in our home!

Dave entered LP's room. There is a trampoline near one bed and a table with a chair near another bed. LP entered the room and laid down on the bed near the trampoline, so Dave had to lay down on the other bed.

LP: Nighty night, Dave!

Dave: Goodnight, LP!

They both fall asleep. Dave was dreaming of seeing his friends again.

I'm not sure what to do with it... The third episode of this fanfic is still incomplete, so I still need to finish it...

Toadavius Shroomman woke up from his sleep. LP wasn't here to say hello to him. Dave got off the bed he slept at.

Dave: LP? Where did that Pokey go

The light blue Toad left LP's bedroom to see LP's mother.

Dave: Hello Ms. Pokey, where's LP?

LP's Mother: My little baby? They went outside for a walk. They should have been back two hours ago...

Dave: I'll go search for them.

Dave then left the Pokey family's home to search for LP. He first went to ask the guide.

Dave: Have you seen LP?

Pokey Town Guide: That kid? No, I did not see them... I was too busy looking at this construction site nearby.

Dave: Maybe I'll go check here, seems interesting.

The mushroom guy went to see what the construction site was all about. He saw multiple Goombas wearing hard hats building houses.

Dave: Hello sir! What are you doing?

Goomba Construction Worker (future Bankkeeper): We're building a brand new village that is going to neighbor Pokey Town. When it's done, we'll be allowed to live here. I'll even become the Bankkeeper of this village!

Dave: Interesting, but I need to go now, I'm searching for someone that went missing.

Goomba Construction Worker (future Bankkeeper): Alright, see ya!

The Toad went back in his search for LP. He went to the Pokey Town Item Shop to get a few items. He saw that the shopkeeper was angry.

Dave: Hey there, what's wrong?

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: One of those stupid Goombandits told me "Thanks for the frog suit meal!" after buying a frog suit. It's an item shop, not a restaurant!

Dave: Oh, they sure don't know how frog suits work... But do they even know that frog suits aren't even made of frog skin? Anyways, I'll take a super leaf.

Pokey Town Shopkeeper: That will be 10 coins, please.

Dave gave 10 coins to the shopkeeper and got a super leaf. He then left the item shop to go to the Elder's house.

Dave: So I'm searching for LP. They haven't come back yet...

Pokey Town Guard 1: Wait... The young Pokey is gone missing!? Their mother must be very worried!

Dave: Yeah, she is worried.

The light blue mushroom then went in front of the Elder.

Pokey Town Elder: Have you heard of the Pyramid of Trials?

Dave: No, never heard of it. The Goombandits must have changed its name or something...

Pokey Town: Sit down and listen to my story, then. Toads used to bring the criminals of Shroom Desert in the Pyramid of Trials for their crimes. The Toad Council of Shroom Desert would decide the sentence of the criminal depending on how severe their crimes were. When the Goombandits took over Shroom Desert, the criminals were freed and the Council was replaced by the Goombandit Judge who kidnaps people to judge about something that seems to make no sense.

Dave: What an interesting story! The Goombandits sure love ruining things that aren't theirs. I better continue my search.

Toadavius left the Elder's house and went to see the other guard.

Dave: Have you seen LP?

Pokey Town Guard 2: Yeah, they left Town about 2 and a half hours ago. They told me they'll go for a walk for about half an hour... In my opinion they probably wandered nearby the Pyramid of Trials.

Dave: Thanks for telling me! I'll go find them.

The mushroom man then left Pokey Town to go search for LP. He used his super leaf to hit Goombandits that were in his path with his new tail. There were some Goombandits that tried to get Dave by surprise, but they got defeated easily by Dave's racoon tail attack. After some time, Shroomman found a pyramid.

Dave: So this must be the Pyramid of Trials the Elder told me about!

He climbed the pyramid to find an entrance. There was a sign written "Goombandit Judgement Inn" over another text.

Dave: Pfft! They didn't even try to erase the Pyramid of Trials text on the sign!

Dave then entered the Goombandit Judgement Inn. He walked around the building and saw two Goombandits sitting on a table in the middle of a conversation.

Goombandit 1: And the I said to him "Thanks for the frog suit meal!" Hahaha!! You should have seen the shopkeeper's face when I said that!

The second Goombandit laughed. Dave tried to sneak pass them, but he tripped on a statue.

Goombandit 2: Look behind you! There is an intruder ready to get a beating from us!

The two Goombandits jumped off their chairs to attack Dave, but he hit both of them with his racoon tail.

Goombandit 1: Atchoo! Why do I have to be allergic to racoons?

After defeating a few other Goombandits with his tail, Dave found a door with a sign written "Council of Judgement" with the "of Judgement" part being written over another text. He put his head towards the keyhole to listen for anything interesting.

LP: C- Can you please stop talking about that? T- This is embarassing...

Goomandit Judge: Silence! We're not done yet!

Dave tried to open the door to save LP, but the door was locked!

Dave: Darn! How could I get inside to know what they are talking about?

The Toad then sees another door with a poorly-placed sign written "Spare Keys Room" on it. He opened the door and entered the room. There were Goombandits guarding the room, so he defeated all of them with his racoon tail. He searched in every labelled lockers until he found the one labelled "Judgement Room".

Dave: There it is! The Council of Judgement's spare keys!

He left the Spare Keys Room and unlocked the Council of Judgement's door. LP was in front of five Goombandits. Four of them were bigger than the average Goombandit while the one in the middle wore a white noble wig. The five Goombandits noticed Dave due to the door creaking. The one with the wig spoke.

Goombandit Judge: Hey! Do not interupt our judgement! We were talking about how this young Pokey proves that we can breed with anything we want!

LP: Davey! You're here to save me! I did not consent on this judgement at all and I want to leave!

Dave: Breeding education!? I don't think LP is old enough to know about this!

The light blue Toad hit the Goombandit Judge with his racoon tail. The four other Goombandits then tried to stop him, but Dave defeated them easily. LP jumped on Dave to hug him. Dave lost his super leaf power-up due to LP's spikes.

LP: Thank you for saving me from this questionable judgement!

Dave: Ouch... You're welcome...

LP and Dave both left the Pyramid of Trials. There was an airport nearby.

Airport announcer: Next stop is the Mushroom Kingdom.

Dave: This is my flight home! I better hurry!

LP: I guess it's time for you to go... I'll miss you... I hope we meet again, Davey!

Dave: Me too... Goodbye!

The Mushroom guy entered the airport and went in the plane that will go to the Mushroom Kingdom. The plane took off and left Goombandit Desert. Hours later, the plane landed in the Mushroom Kingdom Airport. Toadavius Shroomman left the airport to go home. He met his friends to tell them about his expedition.

Mario and Luigi finally came back from their adventure. Unfortunately, they both had a frown on their face. The Toads were happy about their return.

Yellow Toad: Mario! How was your latest adventure yet?

Green Toad: Green Guy, how was Mario during the fights?

Blue Toad: Come on, I want to know if you had a lot of stuff going on...

The Toads had many questions about the Plumbers' adventure, ignoring their lack of smile. Mario and Luigi went back to their house, without answering any of the questions of the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom. Toadette and Toadavius were worried about them.

Toadette: I don't think the Mario Brothers are in the mood for questions...

Dave: Yeah... I'll go see them.

Toadette: Are you crazy? Maybe they don't want to be bothered!

But the light blue Toad ignored her. He walked towards Mario's house.

Mario was sitting on a chair thinking while Luigi was laying down face first on his bed crying.

Mario: Oh rotten shroom... I can't believe we got defeated by Bowser...

Luigi: W- We are too t- tired Mario... Bowser is g- going to kidnap P- Princess Peach anytime soon...

The door then opened. It was Toadavius Shroomman who entered their house. Mario slowly turned his head towards Dave and Luigi got up his bed.

Dave: Sorry to bother you... Seems like your adventure didn't end well...

Mario: How do you know that?

Dave: Well... You were both silent when the Toads asked you many questions...

Luigi: Oh... Right...

Dave: Another thing, a few days ago I did an expedition in Goombandit Desert all alone!

Mario: All alone!? Don't you realize this place is extremely dangerous!? You should have at least waited until we were back from our adventure!

Dave: Don't worry, there were friendly Pokeys that welcomed me.

Luigi: Then how can you explain this?

Luigi then took out a Pokey spike from Dave's chest and showed it to him.

Dave: Ouch! Um... One of the Pokeys hugged me... I didn't know one of their spikes was still on me...

Luigi: Oh... Sorry about thinking that those Pokeys were fooling you...

Toadette entered Mario's house. She was very anxious.

Toadette: Bowser arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom! We should do something!

Luigi: I knew it... He took advantage of our defeat to kidnap Peach...

Dave: He thinks that he will kidnap Peach again, but I will stop him!

Mario: Wait! Bowser is too strong! He will crush you!

But it was too late, as Toadavius Shroomman already left his house. Dave ran towards Peach's Castle as fast as he could. He wasn't as fast as Toad, but he was ready to save Peach before she gets kidnapped. He saw Toad at the front door. He was badly injured.

Dave: Are you okay? What happened?

Toad: It's Bowser! I fought him for a while, but he grew bigger and punched me hard... He broke my frying pan!

Dave: I'll do my best to stop him!

Dave then entered the castle. Bowser was holding Peach with one of his hands.

Peach: Help! Help! Where's Mario?

Dave: Bowser! You won't get away with this! Mario and Luigi might have failed, but I'll try my best to stop you!

Bowser: You? Stop me? Bwahahahaha! Get out of my way if you want to live longer. I won't go easy on you!

Dave: I... Alright...

Dave moved out of the entrance door to let Bowser leave. Bowser waved goodbye to the Mushroom Kingdom and went on his giant Clown Car.

Bowser: Have a horrible day, Mushroom Kingdom!

Toadette, Mario and Luigi entered the castle. Dave was on his knees, hands on his face.

Mario: What's wrong? You regret not listening to me?

Dave: He... He threatened me and I- I let him leave with Peach...

Luigi: I guess we'll have to wait until our next Karting event... He'll bring her back to go karting with us.

Toadette: Don't be a coward, Luigi! It will take too long! We need to think of a plan!

Mario: We'll go on another adventure, I guess... But we'll have to wait, I need some sleep from the failure of my last adventure...

Dave: Alright... I also need some sleep from all that stress...
