I had this question for a while now, and I'm ready to ask it.

Is there some sort of magic that prevents Poofies to poof inside and/or outside an area? (You know, in case an evil Poofie does evil stuff)

Mario, Luigi and Toadette entered the house.

Mario: Anybody home?

Toadette: I don't really think there's been anyone here for ages...

Luigi: Wait... Where did Toadavius Shroomman go?

At that moment, Dave entered the house, covered in ice.

Dave: Told you that last one arrived would be an ice cube!

The others laughed. They searched everywhere to see if there was really someone home, until they saw a note.

"If you're looking for me, please call this number"

Mario: Oh rotten shroom! I didn't bring my phone for this adventure!

Luigi: Me neither, I didn't think we needed a phone for our adventure...

Toadette: Too bad, we'll just try to not touch anything important.

Mario went to the bathroom, he tried to turn the sink on, but nothing happened.

Mario: Luigi! Go in the bathroom! I think we're gonna need to do some plumbing!

Luigi: Should we bring the others?

Mario: Yeah, you can. They'll probably watch us do the plumbing.

Luigi arrived at the bathroom, along with Toadette and Dave. Mario showed his friends that the bathroom didn't work at all.

Toadette: So you want to do some plumbing? I'll watch, it's not really my job.

Dave: I'll just watch, I'm still frozen solid.

Luigi: Alright, Mario and I will do the work. We'll just check what's wrong and see if we can do anything.

The Mario brothers jumped inside the sink to check what's wrong. The insides of the pipes were frozen everywere!

Mario: Oh rotten shroom! I don't think we can do anything! Maybe that's why the one who lived here left!

Luigi: Should we go deeper? I think I saw something shiny.

The plumbers continued deeper to see what was glowing. Mario grabbed the item.

Mario: Got it! Looks like this person lost their ring.

Mario and Luigi left the pipes of the sink and showed their two mushroom friends what they found.

Toadette: So what are you going to do with it?

Luigi: I think we'll put it on the table where the note was.

Dave: Oh! I forgot that I brought my phone with me! It's in my left pocket.

Mario grabbed Dave's phone to call the number on the note.

???: Hello?

Mario: Hi sir, we found your house and saw your note. What's wrong with this place?

???: I'm on a vacation. I needed a good time in a hot place.

Mario: I also found a ring inside your sink.

???: You found my very precious ring!? Thank you so much! It was a gift a friend of mine gave me before I left my original home to go live here. Yeah, this house was nicer on paper...

Mario: Do you want to have it now?

???: Sure! I'll give you instructions to where you can find me, okay? So first you'll need to leave my house.

Mario: Alright, I'll tell my friends to follow me.

Mario and friends were now off to find this mysterious man.
