The final one looks way better. and the other is from a prototype so it would likely be unfinished/a placeholder. They just revised the logo a bit because they thought it'd be better it's not a big deal, this happens when you're working on anything

It worked for me but i think nintendo just changes stuff to spice things up and get people buying their products. Honestly it's not that big of a deal at least to me.
