Opinion: It's a good pfp, and I can't deny that. Maybe my ratings were a little overcritical and maybe I critiqued somewhat menial attributes of it, but what I put down are my honest opinions, and I won't change them
Sidenote: It's really funny how you think that my current pfp fits my name, as I share the name of a Goddess who appears as a demon, and my pfp is a white demon girl xD

So Jasper was my pet GUINEAPIG who was born in December 2017 (idk the day) people think he is a hampster lol who i adopted in late summer 2022 (ill change it if im wrong)
And this is a cute pic of him laying on the sofa awww and my original one was him looking really cross after having a bath XD

When i went to my friends house (yes i do actually have a few friends irl 🤯) and i made my first roblox account and i was thinking of a username and i was showing them a pic of jasper a few minutes before so they said "call it jasper123" It was already taken tho but then I decided to add on the nickname for jasper (Jazzy) but my dumb ahh spelt it jassy and I didnt know so I left it that way for a long time. Then later I made my mkpc account and I wanted my friends (and other people who are on mkpc and have roblox) to know who I am and so i make my username jassyjasper123 once i realised about my spelling error i thaught jassy looks better than jazzy

Kind of insane how we don't have a dedicated topic for this (I am not waiting an obscene amount of time for a news post to be verified about this) but fuck it, I'm making the topic. So just yesterday (at least for us Europeans) Tomodachi Life's sequel got a dedicated Nintendo Direct. I'd like to know your thoughts on it? Any praises? Any critiques? Any concerns?
Your Opinion on Modern Day Nintendo Games being called "slop"

My personal take is that before we label Nintendo games as "slop" due to being merely expensive we have to acknowledge that corporate greed has always been a thing with Nintendo, it's just something intrinsic to being a company. As for the games themselves, hot take, I don't necessarily see a decrease in quality. The most common example everyone uses is Mario Kart World, and I'm gonna be real Mario Kart is very hit or miss for me, some of the newer ones I don't like as much as the older ones and vice versa. Nintendo has made some very good games since the debut of the Switch 2, I mean DK Bananza and Age Of Imprisonment are utterly amazing in my opinion.
We also need to consider that $80 is pretty much the standard cost for any game that isn't indie or third-party, Microsoft and Sony have already surpassed the $100 mark, after all. I don't personally think any game is worth over a 60€ equivalent I'm gonna be honest, unless the game is absolutely groundbreaking like what I assume The Duskbloods is gonna be, but if $80 is the standard then honestly it might be better to just go with the flow as a company, especially when your console isn't just a host for triple-A and quad-A games and has actually original content. If it was cheaper, then as a first-time buyer I would probably think that Mario and Zelda are third-party things that nobody gives a crap about. But they're not, they're global IPs, so $80 is unfortunately kinda reasonable in the eyes of a capitalist brand. And I'm gonna be honest, basing your opinion on a YouTube video isn't exactly the best course of action because humans are complex creatures and would probably end up checking the game out because of reverse psychology.
Now some final thoughts:
- Do I think Nintendo is greedy? Yes, but it's not just specific to Nintendo
- Have the games decreased in quality? Hard to say because the Switch 2 hasn't even been around for a year lmfao
- Are there too many overpriced ports? Certainly, but it's not like those are exclusive to the Switch 2
- Is the first-party content worth it? Honestly no, but it's very rare (if not impossible) to find something actually worth the standard cost of a console game nowadays
- Is it slop? To be fair I'd say it would be if it was just a Nintendo thing, but it's not, it's pretty much intrinsic to the gaming industry at this point
I know nobody actually pragmatic is going to pay any attention to this and I'll probably get yelled at by a bunch of simpletons for daring to not have a flock mentality instead of actually receiving constructive replies but that's my thoughts

I'm surprised anyone thought that this'd last any longer than a few minutes, honestly. Children's social media content evolves over time and like it or not the social media content you grew up with was also brainrot, so there's no real point in bashing the newer slop that appears on social media. Of course it won't last, kids' content was always made to be a passing fad. Think of the Christmas presents you got as a toddler, do you use those things now? Chances are you don't, and it's the same with trends and humour. People don't find the same thing funny after they've seen it for long enough.
