Okay there seems to be people for and people against the current strategies such as reverse drifting in MKPC, this topic is NOT a forum to help you get better at the game, this forum is for why these strategies aren't as bad as people say they are.
Part 1: Unbalanced Characters
Before I start getting onto the argument that y'all are waiting for I'd like to address a less mentioned argument regarding unbalanced characters. Out of the several characters in MKPC, the only ones that are 'good' on a competitive level are Peach and Daisy for having similar stats, Daisy being the better character.
People who use this argument usually complain about the imbalance of characters, however they ignore the fact that you can use custom characters with Daisy stats. This means that you can also play as your favourite MKPC character, whilst having the best stats. Pretty neat isn't it?
Part 2: Reverse Drifting
I'm sure this is the one that you were waiting for and the part that will definitely have the most arguing going on.
Reverse Drifting will never get nerfed, Wargor confirmed this. Here are some reasons why I would agree:
1. This would automatically make every single World Record in this game impossible to beat, as they all use Reverse Drifting. This can be solved by resetting all the leaderboard times, however years of progress will be lost..
2. Reverse Drifting has an element of strategy. Surprisingly, you don't actually want to use Reverse Drifting EVERYWHERE in MKPC, but certainly in most places. You also have to consider whether to only build a blue mini turbo, an orange mini turbo, or to not perform any mini turbo to realign yourself. Reverse Drifting also allows you to make your driving lines really precise when compared to Snaking (look at the Figure 8 Circuit Works Records!)
3. You have a skill issue. There is no better way to say it, but Reverse Drifting is easy to learn and I highly recommend you learn how to Reverse Drift before you reach Expert rank online. Every Mario Kart game has some sort of strategy used within most (if not the entire game) or a best character to play as, just like the 'meta' of MKPC. Adapt to it instead of crying on the forums.

Also yeah I agree with Lely, far too many pride flags, like seriously there's 4-5 pride flags just for LGBTQ+, also yeah I get there's only like 100 natural human chimeras but a flag for it is kinda stupid ngl, that's like saying Wolfkin need a flag because there's not that many of them [but hey, disability/medical condition flags exist too, what's next, obesity pride? 💀💀💀]
I'm going to try to not get too political here. The prides seem bad, but they are in fact, not. It is the people representing them who are. I often say I'm bi but not LGBT bc I don't really want to be associated to a community that gets offended for the most little accidental misgendering. The prides are a way to relate to someone who's gone through the same shit ; but the people representing them are people who especially suffered and who want to be loved, validated, respected, and all that stuff. Problem is that this is a vicious circle, pride tries to reject the overly big rejection there was before, and rejection rejects the too many prides there are today.
It's a shame that the community is mainly represented by those who get triggered easily even though the person that triggered them may have done it on accident, that is what is making pride associated with being triggered about tiny things. Like for example despite the fact I'm both trans and lesbian, I don't expect people to ask for my pronouns the second we start a conversation nor do I want them to because I'd rather have them know about it naturally as we actually engage in conversation.

But France has 1e, 2e, 3e etc.

Now within mathematics we see that in this case 'e' is actually an exponent (for all you 3 year olds in mkpc, this is multiplying the base number by itself, being 69, by number of 'e' times.
So 69^e is roughly equal to 99657.5184
99657.5184 is much greater than 69 and this is why the french will always place in a worse position in not only the time trial leaderboards but ANY LEADERBOARD IN THE GAME.
