Hello, InfiNate here (Discord is InfinateGamer#0420) and I am 15; most well known as the best UK player on this site. I'm a generally new member of the community, compared to the current staff team, only joining in late 2018.

I have a similar story to Temmie/Gary, being someone who's experienced what happens in this game away from the staff's sights and wanting change. I will make every attempt possible to make the proper changes, so that no-one has to deal with what I had to.

I understand the language barrier might be a problem, as understanding French has always been a crucial part of being a staff member. But considering that now over half of the community are American, as well as there being other English-speaking countries, I feel that now a player who is closer to that side of the game is essential.

I am unsure as to whether you will accept my offer, but I hope you consider it Wargor.

No he does not... G&W has so many good moves, and even if you do use side b you only have a 1/8 chance (Bc it doesn't do the same number twice in a row anymore). You have down smash, a good out-of-shield option that allows for free kills, his forward air, just good for keeping your opponent's away, etc.

And as for Luigi, well... try to find a player who won't just fish for a grab, since Down throw leads to death at any %

How? That's one of the big parts of smash. Never make yourself predictable, because your opponent can easily adapt e.g. you spam smash attacks, I could get hit a couple of times and then think "That move is super laggy, I can just shield it, and punish"

You really shouldn't be doing that, they're unsafe moves that are easily punished

Sadly, no changes to Pac-Man. I don't see what they could buff though

So I've gathered that a few people on here play Smash Ultimate, so I wanted to see what people thought on the newest update, which released a week and a half ago (people have now had time to experience the changes).

Pretty simple update honestly, but here's the run down of it:
1. The addition of a fun new character, Min-Min from the ARMS series. While a tier list still hasn't been made yet, I'm sure she's going to be a high-mid tier. People have already figured out a lot of tech with her. Someone already found a 100% true 0-death (instakill) combo with her and her playstyle destroys slow, heavy, and projectile characters all at once.

2. The actual patches. For once, there's not a single character in this game who got worse overall. Almost a quarter of the cast, however, got buffed. The main ones to watch out for are Mewtwo, Ike, Falco and Cap. Falcon, the last one in particular as he could go from not too good to amazing in this patch.

I think this sort of update's very healthy to the game myself, as it encourages people to play characters instead of making people drop them, but I'm love to hear your thoughts. I'm open to any and all questions you'd like answered as well.

So in my last topic, I mentioned the discrimination from the other side of the MKPC community, and in my anger insulted Zekirio, who I believed to be the main culprit of this. However, now it's been almost a day, I want to apologize to you.

I realized I was in the wrong. I took your constant domination personally, as an attempt to make me feel terrible as a player just for being different. Now I see that you just want the same as me - To show the world jut how far we can push this game.

However, if I could have 1 request, it would be a change in attitude. The main problem that I had was that you make beating other seem easy. We put a ton of work into this game, and every world record has tons of effort put in. I'm fine with you beating me (after all there's no point if there's no competition) but please. Don't say "ez" or "first try" after each one.

You're allowed to be confident in yourself, but please don't say anything that belittles others.

Beating me is not the problem. The problem is that you spend mere minutes beating me. All the hours I put in to improve and hopefully take you down one day. Everything I put aside for this game alone. You make all of that feel like it was worthless, because you can just waltz up and make my work seem irrelevant in just a few attempts. THAT'S my problem.

So that time you were the highest scoring CG player while on drugs means nothing to you?
Beating me and Andy at once, while high, is irrelevant?

So, following the announcement made by the player most commonly known as Vlone, I want to say that I'm having the same thoughts. Let me explain:

I've never felt like I belonged here in MKPC. A French dominated community meant that I was always an outcast in people's eyes. I never really saw my place. And nowhere is that more apparent than the competitive scene.

The competitive is, as is the entire game, run by the French. There was essentially no-one to support me as I rose through the ranks, as I'm British, which no top-level player had ever been, and I cannot change that. Even now, 2 years later, I feel like I'm looked down upon by the entire French side of the community, simply because of my origins.

I don't wish to expose the competitive scene as one of the most toxic player bases in all gaming, there are some extremely nice people there. However in my eyes, I can't help but feel as if that's because all their anger's directed towards me.

I believe I've failed in what I was meant to do - prove to the world that you don't have to be French/French-Canadian to be a top tier player. I kept playing for that sole purpose, and never succeeded. In fact, I got overshadowed by another. @CG_dedmenwalk did it for me. I have no purpose in this community anymore, and feel as if it would be best if I left for good.

However, as always, my opinion doesn't matter. If you guys want me out, just say so.
