Nobody is taking it literally exceot you right now. Also nobody is rude, Mike and Choco might be nice but that doesn't mean all of the other ones are straight up b*****s neither, (please appreciate me for censoring the slur word) people are pretty calm and please note that we have been hearing these same things since the night of times, and always disagree.

It's not about layout simplicity. Due to the limitations of the GBA they had to make the bare tracks fun. So they used squiggly layouts with a lot of little turns that would look horrendous in a realistic, modern MK game. Sky Garden and Sunset Wilds are boring. Not even talking about the layout and the sunset, but the other GBA tracks had huge glowups so both look pretty tame tbh.

Nah but GCN tracks in MKDS are terrible, for a simple reason : DS is a cool game, but a less goofy one, a safer one, so it deletes every goofy/fun gimmick that made MKDD a good game despite its awful controls. Most of the shortcuts failed to be kept ; on that point, fans clearly do a better job. And since I'm a passionate when it comes to secret passages ? A fail.
Also that orange rock trend is so ughhh and it probably made every remake that had it much worse visually.

In relation to MK9, I’ve decided on this:
The current tracks I have for V3 will be more of a preview of my new style, since due to the nature of the multicup, every track will take a while to make. As for what I will do moving forwards, I’m thinking of returning to 2, and finishing that one off with my old paint.net style, as a side project. Also all DLC is cancelled. Wanna know what people think of this

The mountain part is surprisingly hard to figure out. The volcano must be you though, and the top left raceway is Wargor

My favorite track ? I'm not really sure, probably the jungle one (I forgot the name, but it was the one for the contest) and my least favorite one is Mushroom Village or Vast Cavern
