Be careful where you place checkpoints in complete mode!

When you place checkpoints in specific places where you want them to go, make sure you place them properly, otherwise, if you get a bullet bill and are unfortunate enough to use it at the wrong place, you could skip a huge chunk of the course, miss other checkpoints, and not make the lap count. Also, make sure your walls are high enough so that the bullet bill doesn't go through the wall, unless you want a player to make an unintended shortcut.

We arrived in the year 5,600,020,000. A warp pipe was there before us, and curiosity got the best of us, but we could have never known what tragedies would’ve happened. We all booked into a hotel.
Fiery: Alright, so I’ve watched the news and it said that The Sun is gone.
They didn’t give a lot of details but that’s pretty bad.
Cringeh: It said something about an explosion. We should check the laboratory.

The laboratory was worn down, doors were busted down and this seemed to not be cleaned until forever.
Lely: This place has definitely seen better days
Nudge: I found an envelope in this locker
Fiery: Let’s get back to the hotel and tell the others what we found
