Wii Rainbow Road is my favourite gameplay-wise, but for the vibes I'm actually going to go a bit out of the box and pick GCN Rainbow Road; the music is just my favourite ever in Mario Kart and the track is super fun too. The GameCube's graphics do so much to enhance it as well

Mario kart 7 is very underrated
It's not a bad game but I can't get over how very simple things were cut like VS Mode, or Waluigi, although characters don't matter as much, it's still really weird to have Wario but not Waluigi

I think Mario Kart World is the worst Mario kart game. It costs 80 dollars and it is mostly Straight Line Simulator.
I don't think the game itself should be judged for the pricing. You can not buy a game if it costs too much, which is reasonable, but I don't think that should factor into the analysis of the game itself. Also you can just not play intermissions usually except in online, and even then it's not that bad with 24 people causing chaos. Yes, 3 lap tracks are much better, but intermissions are overhated imo
