Here are my thoughts on the medium MKWii vehicles.
Classic Dragster

It's a rickety but okay kart to use. You have the large design for jostling, and also has good acceleration. Build up your Mini-Turbos wisely, and you'll be good to go.
Wild Wing

This one I enjoy, because not only it looks fierce, but the drift stat is well accomplished. And it has a good weight too. Whenever I view replays, I can always hear the whoosh of the spoilers. But there's one thing to note: This roadster does not fly over off-road.
Super Blooper

I think it's nice riding a Blooper kart, since these creatures are aerodynamic and all. This one is like the previous kart, but more focuses on off-road.
Daytripper

If you want steady handling while racing, this is the kart for you. Don't be deceived by the classic nature of the kart. Its Mini-Turbos can help you a lot. It even tips on one side! How cool is that?
Sprinter

This F1-based vehicle has one thing it's about: Speed. It's probably faster than any other vehicle in this class. It "sprints" well during straights on the tracks, but don't get me started with the off-road.
Super-Mushroom 1985 MACH Bike (Yes, that's the full name)

The slim bike who's good at drifts is almost used a lot! It has a spectacular top speed and can handle hairpin turns. Just make sure to stay on the lane, that's all.
Sugarscoot

Scooters are peculiar when it comes to the track. The Sugarscoot contains a good amount of handling, and doesn't have any trouble with off-road. Its weight, on the other hand, is something to keep noted. Be careful not to be jostled around!
Zip Zip

For a strange name, it's one that makes sense, since you can actually zip through the sides of the road with ease. It is such an outside drift bike, to the point where its drift makes you slide plentiful.
Sneakster

One reason I think the exhaust pipes are so large is because the Sneakster is adept to speed. But, it's not a good bike to select when you're facing against big racers. There's this one time in Mario Circuit 3, where Bowser still stayed ahead when I kept on wheelieing behind him!
Dolphin Dasher

This bike will make you look like you're riding one. And whenever you get bumped around, dolphin noises will please you. The weight and off-road are the good statistics for this one, but it's difficult to get close to sideways when drifting.

I must say, when the universe reset in 2007, I was kind of excited during the last second. Honest.
You reading JoJo's Bizarre Adventure?
No, I wasn't talking about that

My #1 wish that I hope comes true this upcoming year of 2026 is…
For this early beta version of Mario Kart 8 to be found and decompiled

People forgot about the fact that you could honk with that button down there; it got obscure
I want THIS to be found and decompiled! Wahoo!

Fun Fact:
Mario Kart Wii had it's early development in late 2005, after Mario Kart DS made its debut. This time, the Mario Kart team wanted to make this title based on BMX driving. Which meant that the Mario characters would be racing on bikes. One person did say that seeing Mario on a bike would look strange, but soon later, they kept it. Also, Mario Kart Wii was originally going to be called "Mario Kart X", or "Mario Kart BMX". Early concept art of Luigi Circuit and Dry Dry Ruins can be found online. Luigi Circuit's unchanged, while the desert track was going to be raced in reverse.

I need to yap about the MKWii vehicles. They come in different shapes for each class. For example: You have the Flame Runner for large class, the Daytripper for medium classes, and the Jet Bubble for small classes. But here's the thing. The vehicles created for the small class look a little bit off, imo. I understand Nintendo was trying to put certain enemies and animals into these, but in the end, they look like bumper cars for the small. Take the Cheep Charger, or the Jet Bubble again. The medium and large ones have more realism to them, but the small ones are like some kind of Bubble Car from JW.

And also, I have the blue and red color pallete for the vehicles, but they lack any for the small ones. Some concepts for some early vehicles from 2007 can be seen here:

Ok, this might sound absurd, but I think me and Toadette are in the medium class in Mario Kart Wii. Diddy Kong and Bowser Jr. can take our places.
(But you won't see this when you play the game yourselves!)

Listen. I don't make videos of Mario Kart Wii anymore for a good reason. After the last match there, something totally wrong occured.
I decided to take the shortcut on Pipe Course, but then a savage Shock came and ruined my reputation. Then, I try to build up momentum until King Boo happens. So this is why I probably don't play Mario Kart Wii anymore. It's just too much.
(Also the heavyweights get too much spotlight in that game)

Fine... I came back. Not as videos, though.

I have quite the story to tell you.
The reason why we use non-obtainable items in Super Mario Kart, was because first of all, ? Blocks were placed right after the start/finish line. Now here's the thing. ? Blocks only hold 1 object in them. Item Boxes have a list of objects to take. And since we had extra flat courses, we all decided to put more action in, even if the players couldn't do that. Which is also why you see Poison Mushrooms, Yoshi Eggs, and fireballs. Better than nothing! We didn't have Item Boxes back then!
