Absolutely not, no series could ever last that long. They might have a new kart racer by then tho. But everything has to end eventually.
So you're aware Touhou has over 30 mainline entries (depending on if you count Hakurei's story in Makai (so TH1-5) as canon) and ZUN's in his 40s
But in the case of Mario Kart it's likely that there won't be that many...
Touhou games are wayy easier to make than Mario Kart games and the formula for them lends itself really well to having a lot of sequels, I would not consider it and mario kart equal in this sense. But a series absolutely can last for 50 games,

Hazel opens her eyes to see herself surrounded by a bright light, unable to determine where the source of the light is coming from.

Struggling to improve on 150cc? Play 200cc.
When you play 200cc you have to adapt to faster speeds and it makes you realise how much a simple key tap can affect your alignment. Be accurate with 200cc and try get a consistently decent method for racing on every track on 200cc.
200cc is useless other than Time Trial tho so you will eventually return to 150cc and feel like you are moving in slow motion and you become more precise. At least that's how it works for me, I strongly recommend you rd tho
