He fought in the War of Shy Guys are Yoshis as a Shy Guy when he was one. After the war, he took off his mask and lived a totally normal life with Red, Blue, and everyone else in Season 1 of "The Silly Adventures." But before that, he decided to travel to Johto where the events of Pokemon HeartGold happened. He returned to everyone else at age 12. Then came the events of TSA Seasons 1 and 2. ~~At age 18, he experienced the events of TSA Season 4 (not yet written). After that, he reunited with Opulent and Phanto at the end of Season 5 who decided to stay in Sinnoh for a while.~~ He is Opulent's younger brother.

Somewhat of a pedant. He reverse drifts, is the best Pokemon trainer in the group, is good at observing and deducing, (like Sherlock/Mycroft Holmes), and is a war veteran, I might point out.
Special item: TM, allows him to use a move from any Pokemon game. For example, Explosion, will create a large explosion that will spin out ALL karts within the blast range, Fusion Bolt can be used to lighting-strike someone OR be used to power up his Typhlosion's Fusion Flare. Waterfall acts similar to a mushroom but spins out anyone if they come in contact.
