It didn't go so well... I got last place in Bowser's Castle on the Special Cup and was pretty much getting whipped on ONLY that track. But I got first in Rainbow Road and Dry Dry Ruins. Er... Moonview Highway... was a disaster with the cars... I got third somehow...

I have Mario Kart Wii on emulator and Wii U but on emulator, I have to use an Xbox 360 Wired Controller with no motion controls.

I played it on dolphin (my phone, yea) the controls are really great, with shaking the phone to do tricks
But in grand prix, it runs at 30 fps, no way to get more... so I play in time trials
I can do the mushroom gorge and volcano ultra cuts easily

A real Wii, my childhood one. It has the MKWii Channel, Netfilx (the original release version) and Hulu Plus on it, not much else.

Double dash is fun too. I honestly prefer playing it over MKWii, I just don't have the game anymore...

I use my PS4 Controller's motion controls for some of my games-- Wait. if you're running Android 15, you can overclock it for games using Dev Options on Android Nova. If your device's built-in display has a refresh rate of over 60fps, you can turn on "Disable Default Refresh Rate for Games" and you can run games at whatever is the max your device can handle.
I couldn't find the Grumble Volcano cut and so ended up a lap behind...

...I think that the problem is my phone, it's a Redmi Note 12
It doesn't bother me at all, training for ultra cuts is fine to me
And I have parental controls, so...

Mario Kart Wii for me has negative aura to it, especially in the 2nd part of the end credits. I often find myself trying to stay in front of the lead when I race. And also I have nightmares of the game.

I can play gba games, ds, gamecube, and psp games smoothly, but emulator optimization matters a lot too
For example ps2 games runs poorly but I can play gamecube games
And wii games are... meh I play nsmbwii on it

Mario Kart Wii for me is easy in 50cc and 100cc. I've beaten every cup on those class engines. When I got to Rainbow Road on 100cc, I was playing as Mario on the standard bike and I kept falling of at that halfpipe near the end. I even tricked of it.
Other than 150cc and Mirror mode, Mario Kart Wii is easy.
