Take N64 Toad's Turnpike, remove all the vehicles from the track, and the track loses its interest. It's the same here.
EXACTLY
this is also how i feel about the donut plains bridge gap, though to a lesser extent, that was the main challenge for me while playing on SNES and what made it stand out to me.

I mean MK8 had underwater driving and it changed the track to let you go underwater

I could say the same thing about Mk8 then.
Except thats a mechanical difference, not an exclusion.
Also the track in MK8 is removed half of the second bridge specifically so you would go underwater.

Like in MK8 most shortcuts are now possible in MKPC and its easier then the original

- The fact that there are no jumps in GBARR I know was intentional; a lot of the shortcuts from the original won't work because of the way the lap count system works in MKPC versus Super Circuit. Besides GBARR is already one of the better tracks in the game without the jumps
- Adding walls to the Bowser's Castles would not only make obsolete all of the time trial records but also the gameplay would be made much worse. The MKPC SNES maps are 512x512 as opposed to 1024x1024 like the original, and if there were walls added then the road would be way too thin and it would ruin gameplay
- Similar with the Donut Plainses. The actual drivable road in the Donut Plainses bypassing the water section is thinner than the rest of the track, especially in DP3, and I don't wanna be driving in that section between holes, it is much more satisfying to bag and get shrooms and bypass the section altogether. Imo DP3 is already the worst track to NITA excluding KB2 and CI2, I don't wanna make things worse than it already are

Just mentioning this, if the SNES Bowser Castle tracks had walls, we wouldn't have that one cool shortcut on BC2.

Just add the Feather item, that made track ridiculousy hard
Feather item would allow players to skip random portions of tracks and they would complain about skipping checkpoints. If the
Feather ever gets added, too many huge shortcuts could be performed but most of them would lead to an instant CP (Checkpoint) skip. The walls from SNES Bowser Castle tracks will never be removed so it's best you guys try to get used to it and train on these tracks if you want to get better at them.
