Remove the custom characters in online play, because :
1) As you say, this can cause imbalances because some characters are too small and some are too large.

First of all: Why would they do this?
Second of all: People like playing as custom characters because the only good non custom Character is Daisy and Dry Bones. Plus I like playing as Charlie Brown or Ringo Starr in Online Mode.

If we can't have custom items, can we at least change the sprites of the items for different multicups?
I have been wanting this for ages! It would add more personality to Multicups such as SourMusic Kart or Super Baldy Kart. Or if you wanted to make goofy Items, you could make the Blue Shell look like NES Mario or you could make the Bob Omb look like the WarioWare Bomb!

I don't know the specifics but I did hear that sound is pretty hard to work with so this is potentionally impossible.
I tried to do that but all it did was take me to EVERY MESSAGE I MADE! I almost died of cringe brainrot I made.

I would like to see more battle modes, like Renegade Roundup, Bob-Omb Blast, Coin Runners, Shine Thief. And Wargor, feel free to watch the videos of the modes above on YouTube to see how they work!
Renegade Roundup wouldn't work due to online lag. The others should be fine though I can't imagine anyone wanting to play Coin Runners.

2. I agree if this was a setting on private links. Newer players don't know that finishing is based on ping rather than in game time and would flood with messages of people 'cheating' since they lost while having a faster time.

I think it would be cool if in the complete mode track creator there is the ability to divide the Out colors, and to color each Out color.
It's useful in many different tracks.
For example:
In a beach track, the creator made some sections where you can see only the sea and some others where you see only the in-land.
Without this option, the creator has to decide only 1 colour and the track turns out to be ugly, or not a beach at all.
With this option, the track would be better, because there are 2 different out colors: one for the sea, and one for the in-land.
It's useful in many different tracks.

Just don't make your track small enough to see the out colours. And 9/10 times you do see it it's barely noticable.
I had this really cool idea: What if when we make Multicups, we could have an option to make certain cups or characters unlockable so it would make the Multicup more memorable.
You can already add character rewards through challenges. Unlockable cups are kind of useless as not that many people actually play the game and they don't really play out of order anyway.
Maybe having dualshock or xbox controller compatibility would be nice.

This would be horrible. You'd force everyone to play as Daisy (only character with meta stats) which will make it impossible to differenciate players on the minimap.
1. If someone is abusing a custom character you can report it in the report topic. Make sure to provide a screenshot as evidence.

We should have a way to merge arenas into track multicups. Same with putting complete mode tracks/arenas/cups into quick mode track/arena cups/multicups.
