When I do online mode or time trials in the main MKPC, when I take a giant shortcut like one on lakeside park, lakitu comes and says I'm going backwards, but I'M NOT GOING BACKWARDS! The worst part is, when he says I'm going backwards then I finish a lap, he doesn't count it. That's my problem with MKPC. Tell us what your problems are about MKPC.

DS Rainbow Road is impossible to complete without falling off. I wish it would be larger.

that is what happens when you lose lap count when you take really big unintentional shortcuts so i dont recommend taking really big shortcuts that look like they would be unintentional

if you skip a checkpoint just drive backwards to the checkpoint and then go forward again its that simple to solve the problem or just avoid taking shortcuts that look unintentional and skipping checkpoints is the whole reason we lose lap counts

Yeah DS RR is legit the worst official track in the game. Too bad cuz it's pretty neat visually.

Everytime I try to do a shortcut on GBA Sky Garden, it always makes me lose a lap count.

if you try taking an unintentional shortcut just stay to the intentional shortcuts cuz it will keep you safe from skipping checkpoints

okay so here's something to explain the checkpoint system
There's 2 types of checkpoints
- Mandatory ones, which are black in the track editor
- Optional ones, which are blue and help for tracking everyone's positions (and now can help for holes's respawns since some time)
Like here's a screenshot of Riverside Park's checkpoints
sorry for the shit quality it was taken on my phone, and yep I did misread Lakeside
And yep on Lakeside Park you can't really cut that much because of checkpoints xd, and the Lakitu thing is only on main tracks, when he shows up while you're in the right direction it means that you missed a checkpoint, ngl they are quite bad on those tracks, that's why we usually play in the CT Project Lounge (we have a discord server for that) tho we use more specific and different rules (we do Mogis, which are 12 races games either in teams or not)

also something I've noticed is if you lose lap count and then use a bullet bill it will take you back to the check point you missed
