People who reverse drift online don't play fair

You gain points even if you don't get first. Online mode is not about winning so much as it's about not losing. Don't get last place. The RDers can just do their thing, it's cool. You'll only lose points if you get dead last or lose to a bunch of 5000-point players

No Jamestown is right but mainly for mobile players because you can’t reverse drift on mobile and there’s a new glitch where you can’t move at all.

Edit: this was actually a glitch, But it only happens on tablets. Idk why but the controls don't show up it's probably because the game thinks you are on a computer and removes the keys that are on phone.

So here is the thing. I do agree with you, that reverse drifting when other people in your room who can't is a bit of a nuisance, but Reverse drifting has really made the game more competitive, and more fun, and reverse drifting is not terribly hard to learn. Also, I appreciate how Mario Kart PC is a game purely based on skill, as it basically encourages people to play the game more. If you're concerned about this, just don't be. Being able to break the game and discover stupidly overpowered shortcuts and techniques, makes Mariokart PC a better game, as there are nearly 200k custom tracks, and the number increases by about 50 tracks per day, meaning there are basically endless stupid, funny, meaningless, or awesome, overpowered shortcuts to be discovered. That's what Mario Kart is all about, right?

Reverse drifting can be annoying to learn. You might wanna learn how to snake first. It basically includes just drifting in the direction you want, plus constant mashing of the forward and back key. It takes practice, but if you can master it, you'll destroy all people

Using a bit of critical thinking, you could notice that mario kart is a racing game and by logic... everybody will try to found any method to be faster, in a better example, in mario kart online (im talking about oficcial ones) you dont get any kind of matchmaking with people that just started, at your first online race can easily get a match with any kind of top player that already tryharded the game and knows what character is faster lol. Anyways, even if the reverse drifting gets nerfed or banned, dont you think that players will figure out another way to get faster?, even could be worse than RD lol, and i dont really know why there's much drama about reverse drift, is easier to learn and this is said from someone who rarely plays online and sucks on it anyways xD, in the worst case that you dont like rd, just don't play online or idk mkpc isn't just online races so do what u want.

I have beaten people who use Rd and items would help you so it shouldn't be much of an issue.

It is not the only way. If you know what you are doing, you will do fine, with the luck of useful items.

No, I got all the gold cups in july 2022 4 months before learning rd, and I still can get gold cups on phone
