IDEA: Mariokart PC Update?

Anti-gravity

It could feature:
-Characters with optional anti-gravity sprites
-Spin boosts by bumping into other players
-Spin boosts by spin boost pillars


Upgraded quick mode

It could feature:
-Diagonal tiles
-Off-road tiles
-The option to choose your grid size (smallest being 4x4, biggest being 16x16)


MKPC Shop

It could feature:
-Shop points (earned by doing various things)
-24hr x2 Booster Power-Ups (earning twice as much VR, BR, and challenge points
-Making your own shop (selling your own characters, tracks, etc. (you can earn shop points this way :D)

The closest we'll get to having depth/verticality is with the override feature. Gliding is never going to work differently than other features.

If you want to cover a large distance, use a cannon. If you want a short enough distance but also multiple places to land, use a jump.

Underwater can be simulated pretty well in regards to falling into water but the physics can't.  
The best you'll get with anti-gravity is an override to flip the background 90/180 degrees and call it a day.

These things won't work if the game is flat. Heck, anti-grav doesn't even exist anymore (nevermind that World's mechanics are more unusable here than the ones in 7 & 8 because they actually do something to the gameplay now)

@FamtomeThief, motion glider and jezua glider can't be done with cannons or jumps, and for God sake YOU CAN'T EVEN USE ITEMS, NOR CONTROL YOURSELF IN CANNONS. gliders are a good feature, but I get why you wouldn't want them, it's my opinion, and you can disagree

Motion and jenzua literally need motion controls to work. This game does not have them. It never will. Thid game does not have gliding. Gliding is a good mechanic. But this game can't use it. There's no roon for it in quick mode, no room for it in the base game, and no room for it in most custom tracks. The game has no verticality. That's not an opinion.

Either way, let's stop arguing.

1 why make it like mk8 it is a bad game and also the game is 2d.

2 As someone who uses qm this is a great idea .I like this suggestion.

3. Best suggestion of them all.

Here is how it could work: you get challenge points for things and then in the shop you can spend them.
This has been suggested for years so it would be nice for this to happen. The shop could have regulars and limited edition

I've been thinking about this a little bit, but custom rules for our own Grand Prix would be kinda nice. Like setting the difficulty of the CPUs, how many racers in total (for example: 12 like MKWii & MK8, 24 like in MKWorld), and also setting the engine class so it's not forced at just 150cc. It would be nice if we could set our own Grand Prix in like Mirror mode or 200cc.

Yeah definitely agree, CPUs are way too easy especially in GP mode. In my opinion getting a gold cup should be an actual challenge.

1. That's alot of work for a useless feature. Idk why 90% of MKPC players don't realise this is a 2d game.

2. Use complete mode.

3. I've been wanting something like this for a while now, but I still have no idea what you should be able to buy as this is a game where nearly everything is customisable.

3. Maybe, but barely anyone plays battle mode anyway. Most people play Mario Kart to race, but then again new modes could entice more people to play battle mode. Hard to tell.

A bit of a smaller idea, and I could be completely wrong so please let me know, but I don't believe you get notified for your TT record being broken on custom tracks. I'd like that fixed. Again, haven't been around too long and I could be wrong.

An erase feature for Custom Builder, Complete Mode. It would be so useful. Tell me if I'm wrong, like it would be your typical erase feature, you would select a set area, and it would be erased. Simple as that

OK I agree with you because 8 players is not that exciting.
Yes finally someone who realises that it is 2d.

Complete mode can take long times to do so we should have an upgraded quick mode.

You do not sound excited enough for this.
