I don't usually respond to many topics but ig I'll share my thoughts and predictions:

Acorn Cup:

- Tour Rome Avanti
This track doesn't suck at all imo, that one section just feels a bit more enclosed than what we're used to. If you played this in tour and didn't have fun grinding RA2R, it's fair to not like it (and I didn't enjoy it either) but I'm sure it will play far differently in 8dx than drifting awkwardly in Tour

- GCN Dino Dino Jungle/GCN DK Mountain
I'm leaning towards DDJ on this one because it's a bit more conventional and easier, and we all know 8dx has been pretty simple given most of the players are just casual or inexperienced players. I also don't really like the Tour model of DK Mountain, but I can't say it's out of the question for appearing in Wave 6

Honestly not sure what will be here since there are so many contenders

- Tour Piranha Plant Cove
Both Singapore and Vancouver have appeared at the end of a cup, so I'm assuming this track, which also has variants, will appear here too rather than the 2nd track of Spiny Shell Cup

Spiny Shell Cup:

- MobMD
Nothing much to say here

- Piranha Plant Pipeline
Again nothing much to say here, maybe other than the prefix 'tour' potentially not appearing, similar to that one track in every other wave

- SNES Bowser Castle 3
A SNES track was initially datamined for Wave 5 but that didn't happen, and since BC3 has the biggest revamp and most effort put into it, it's highly likely it would've appeared here. Keeping tradition they would've put it right before the next track...

- Wii Rainbow Road
A Wii track was datamined to be in this slot, and it was remade in Tour too. I just hope it's 3 laps and not overscaled. I've also seen a lot of DS RRs being thrown around but tbh idk what evidence supports that logic.

Think of Waluigi Stadium this way:

The tour version is the intended version, they just added extra to the BCP version, meaning Nintendo did put effort. :genius:

Also, glider ramps aren't necessary and don't make tracks feel more intense. Removing the glider ramp on RP in the BCP feels cooler imo.

Btw we got 3 new tracks this tour, that's the opposite of lazy lol.

I'm aware, that's why it can't happen yet.
But Lely has shown lots of maturity and understanding, once he turns 13 I'd promote him straight away.

I'm going to try update the rules when I get the chance, I can agree that there's been a lot of stuff happening recently, and a lot of it is hard to control.

Also, Lely should be mod.

Even if they are from Google, a reason for deletion would still be to give the original artist credit. Even if you didn't "steal" it, the creator of the image deserves all the credit for making it. Maybe some research on the site for 2 mins can't hurt to see if it's already made kr not. It's not like you made the image anyway so it's not that bad.

I also feel like people have been throwing the Google argument for a while now, and idk if it can always be trusted.

Just a heads up the mods have planned on updating the rules of the site, and this situation is mentioned in the track creation section

I think it may be a bug, there was one incident where Senko-19 from Mudky changed into a Sonic for a lot of people, that could be the case here.

I'll post my thoughts here in response to yours since I play MKT.

Daisy Circuit shortcut not having a glider ramp is fine imo. The shortcut already offers an extra item box, so it's already more overpowered than it needed to be. Whilst it would be cool, it probably wasn't necessary, and I can't complain. (I was going for WR on this track at one point, and not having a glider kinda worked out better tbh)

Peach Circuit not having a glider ramp makes sense because the track is tiny, and there isn't much room to put one. There is one in the R and T variant (I haven't played R/T yet) but that was because it actually had a good opportunity to.

As for the music, I suppose this is fine. It makes sense from Nintendo's perspective. Tour never had these massive remixes anyway.

Pointing out Daisy Cruiser R/T was also something I didn't think of, but that would've been a good addition.

As for Daisy Hills, that track is pretty boring so I'm glad it didn't show up, but I think it probably was appropriate.

Coconut Mall was strange, maybe the princesses go shopping idk. Don't ask how DP3 got in tho.

On a sidenote, I'm going for Peach Circuit R WR which is currently at 154ac, I can definitely do it but the game refuses to give me Coinbox Frenzies lmao.
