I LOVE TORTUGALAND

anyway back to some unpopular opinions, and this time it's MKWii:

- Wario's Gold Mine is boring

- Daisy Circuit is underrated, it's hated on because it's just the worst in the Star Cup but it doesn't mean it's bad

- Dry Dry Ruins is the best desert track in all of MK so far

- People who don't like Moonview Highway either 1. are bad at driving or 2. have no idea highways are supposed to be fast

- N64 Mario Raceway is basic but somehow one of the more fun courses

- Not unpopular but GBA BC3 is awesome, one of the best retros

- Motion controls are awesome, and are more fun than stick controls

Here's a few, I'll just stick to some BCP ones to keep the list (relatively) short:

- Paris could've probably changed in L2 (with the current L3) and L3 could just be the either reverse variant or Paris Pronade 2 from Tour, but it's not really an issue.

- Coconut Mall is good, the indicated escalators are good (considering many people who play mk8dx are casual players), and the Shy Guys doing donuts are even better.

- People should stop complaining about MC3 in the BCP and be grateful Nintendo picked a good SNES course. Even tho MC2 may have been better it wasn't gonna happen if the following 2 tracks were already taken from MK7 (KD and WP). I honestly don't see any argument against this track.

- Koopa Troopa Beach would've been a better pick than Kalamari Desert. I know it has the 2nd variant from Tour but I don't care for this track. It's boring as.

- I found my house in Sydney Sprint

- Sky High Sundae may be an oval but it's fun.

- Amsterdam Drift's confusion could've been avoided if you went around on Lap 1. This would give the proper setup for original Laps 2 and 3 from Tour. Right now Lap 3 is too confusing for both newer players and Tour players, and feels like it ends abruptly.

- DS Mario Circuit works really well in Wave 4, and now that it's added I'm glad it was chosen above Airship Fortress or any other DS track.

- No N64 Wario Stadium or GCN Wario Colosseum? That's a W imo

For clarity it's probably a good idea to credit on every course you borrow and not just one.

On a side note a gave a 2 week ban yesterday because someone stole all of M26G's SMK tracks (20 in total), so be aware. (this goes for everyone btw, but that's common sense)

That's like saying you can take RHcks' tracks and saying it's yours because it wasn't been worked on in a while. You can only be the owner of the image if you make it yourself.

Btw, you should probably learn about copyright laws and stuff because taking other people's works may result in legal disputes etc. Luckily this is only mkpc where it's not a massive deal (and the course is generally just deleted).

SNES MC 3 is fine, it's one of the better SNES tracks. It was a good thing it was in the BCP, meaning we didn't get another worse track (MC2 probably wouldn't have been there bc a lot of the courses were already in mk7).

MC4 is pretty much MC3 but mirrored and with a few width changes in a nutshell. If one is forgettable then the other one should be too.

N64 Sherbet Land is among the worst tracks in mkwii but it doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. It's just a bit too long. I've also never heard anyone call it a Vanilla Lake.

Your points are valid, but it's definitely not forgettable. It's actually one of my favourite tracks in MKWii.

I can't really pinpoint what it is about the track, maybe it's the intensity of the music paired with the the harsh turns and thwomps, but this track is really fun. I guess it's just one of those things you can't really explain.

Moonview Highway is an easy 5/5 from me. A highway is supposed to be frantic, and this is the only highway track in MK where you actually go fast. The cars are also relatively easy to avoid as well since there are large gaps between them.

Another thing I like about the track is that the compensation for cutting the inside and saving time is that you have the risk of coming head on with a car and have less reaction time to avoid it.

Overall this track is perfect as a highway track and for the Special cup. I'm quite surprised you gave it a low 2.5/5 (but I respect your opinion).

Although not a bad idea, the problem with this is that the pieces may not line up well

A water based Vanilla Lake theme would be pretty cool, the only problem here is that the ice here is too straight. Otherwise nice idea.

Here's my submission (time to spice up this tournament)

To give others a chance I will be going a little easier, so I'm gonna cut down on the aesthetics a bit.

I feel like adding pieces with a small difference will allow for more track spam from newer members.

The pieces look decent, but I can't guarantee Wargor would implement them since it's so similar to Boo Lake.

Otherwise the only problem is that the turns don't look like they line up well, and the lighter shading on those pieces aren't consistent with the rest. Nonetheless, good start.

1. He still broke the rules
2. It's common sense that you don't need to revive because it's essentially spam/message grinding (especially if the messages are advertisements)
3. I'm gonna ask Wargor to update the rules, thank you
