Just think about this logistically from Nintendo's perspective for a second.

Mk8dx is largely played by families and not just competitive players. Tracks like N64 Wario Stadium and GCN Wario Colosseum are too complex for a game intended for 6 yo kids to play (for the most part). Waluigi Stadium is a more suitable addition for the BCP since it's a good difficulty/length, whereas the other tracks you seem so desperate to want (which aren't coming btw) are too complicated for the average player to comprehend.

DS Mario Circuit finally gets the credit it deserves, it's the best Mario Circuit across the entire series and now it's even better. I also wouldn't have wanted Luigi's Mansion because that's a bit on the boring side, and I was actually expecting Airship Fortress but ig I was wrong (I'm not disappointe tho).

The fact that there are 8 circuits doesn't mean anything either, especially if there will eventually be 96 in the entire game (therefore  8.33% which is essentially nothing).

I think this course will be great, and amazing in 200cc. The whole wave is epic.

tbf the Waluigi Stadium visuals did catch me off guard since it looks completely different. I think it's fine, but I care about the gameplay more than the visuals.

As someone who plays tour, this caught me by surprise as well. (so the topic isn't really that useless imo)

I've played both variants only once (so my judgement may change) but the N variant is fine (a bit tricky to keep combos actually) and the R variant is mediocre.

On an unrelated note about this track, this is a complete guess with no proof but I'm predicting the course will place before Wii RR in the BCP, because I don't see why Nintendo would put this much effort into a course for a game that will eventually discontinue. (don't expect this to actually happen)

The same problem also happens to me too, hopefully it gets fixed eventually.

There's supposed to be a way to still enable it in custom item distributions, I haven't figured it out yet.

On Discord, Wargor said "To enable it, just select a custom item distribution and type "darkshell" from the custom screen. This will give you access to the dark shell column where you can set the distribution you want"

But the thing doesn't show up for me, I'm probably doing something wrong.

Riverside and Lakeside Park are quite different. The original Lakeside Park theme was based around water. When I designed the Riverside Park pieces I intentionally made it land based so that it's distinctly different from LP and not a useless update. The problem with Peach Circuit (and Broken Pier) is that not much can be done to make it look and play differently to MC and BL.

I don't think it's actually necessary to add Peach Circuit pieces, since the difference is barely noticeable from Mario Circuit.

The turn pieces also don't line up which is a problem, and the grass and wall textures also have the same problem. Otherwise it doesn't look too bad.

Adding on to this, please only report posts that break the rules.

Recently there have been a few reports of comments that the reporter just doesn't like, which isn't a valid reason. For example, an Among Us post that was edited to be Mario that was in Meme of the Day, but didn't break any rules. (just because you don't like among us doesn't mean it's report worthy)

Additionally, please don't go out of your way to report old comments, it's quite unnecessary in most cases.

This isn't official yet but will soon be implemented in the rules, but please don't falsely report posts in forums. Only do so if it is:
- Spam
- Inappropriate
- Unrelated to the topic
- Self advertising (unless it's a share your creations topic of course)

There is probably more, but it should be common sense.

If you falsely report topics you are essentially wasting the mods/admins times. Repeat offenders are likely to be warned.

On a serious note, the BCP is better than the base game. I suppose the initial criticism was fair, but now we've got tons of masterpieces and more to come.

They can't keep going on forever + it's really ineffective with the slowmode

I feel the only reason it is liked is because it's anew theme in the SNES. I have only enjoyed this track in mk8dx 200cc, but I still wouldn't choose it.

Another opinion: Shape of the track doesn't matter if it plays well. You can't call Toad's Factory Bad because it's basically a square, it's one of the better tracks in the whole series.


Also SNES RR sucks, it just like half the other SNES tracks (in terms of layout) but more annoying to play. I don't get how people can call this the best track.
