On 2025-06-29 at 11:13:17 in PROJECT: Mariokart PC GENERATIONS
MKPC Generations is a community project where members collaborate to recreate (almost) all of Nintendo's retro tracks, similar to the Mario Kart 8 project on the site. For over a year we've been collecting and creating tracks to put into one giant multicup, and now we finally have enough to release the project. 
At the time of posting this all of the N64 and Wii tracks have been completed and are the only courses to feature for now, however the other MK games are not too far off from being completed. To keep quality, we've decided to update the multicup only when all tracks from each game.
The current version project features tracks from 15 different creators, and you can play the multicup here:

...well MAYBE READ THE HELP FIRST!!
So I am creating this decor, but it is a GIF. But when I download it, it comes out with a white background.. so I select "Transparent Background" but then it comes out in grey shades, and no other colour. BTW I am making it in Pixilart and it has 4 frames. Can I have help? thx.

Here's how I would do it:
- Export each frame as an image with a transparent background, and if it still has one for some reason use this site https://www.remove.bg/
- Upload those images to this site https://ezgif.com/maker and fix the settings to match whatever you want

In MKPC Generations today at 01:11:19Allow me to explain some things then:
- Your point about the turns is correct, although I think the turns are fine here since you can catch a break and pull off some shortcuts (including shroomless). This was intended for online play in CTGP PC BG and some of these turns are optimal for that.
- Music might be strange for someone who isn't familiar with the song, and the reason I kept it was because I really like it and the GD level it came from. It's pretty much a vibey SMW Castle remix that I believe goes surprisingly well with ghost themed stuff, but the criticism here is valid. I don't think I'll be changing it.
- You might be thinking about this too deeply with the brightness at nighttime, and I'd rather make sure people can see the track than make everything darker and more obscure. I could also make up some excuse and pretend those light blue phantasm fire snake decors are illuminating the place with their glowy aura but that would be pretend lore. I could add some more torch decors but I don't think the lighting is that bad and I'm personally happy with the colours in the end.
4/5 is still a valid criticism, and I'm well aware that not everyone will like every track no matter what. Thanks for the feedback.
