About forum reporting lately...
The purpose of the report feature is to make it easier for the mod team to find and possibly sanction people who break the rules. However people are reporting others simply because something is said that they don't like (eg "this guy steals tracks" or "this guy is annoying". Reporting messages like is honestly childish and immature. Also, light swears are allowed so please don't report message that contain the word "shit" or whatever (obviously excessive use and slurs need to be reported but most cases I've seen are mild).
Another problem is the mass reporting. We already get the idea after one message, we don't need another 20 to clear if we're only gonna do one action.
I think the problem is that people on the forum only care for themselves and wanna censor anything they don't like, well in life people are always gonna say stuff like that and there's nothing you can do about it. Rather than crashing out/losing your shit over minor things, try building some resilience or just correct your behaviour.
I'm going to consider sanctions for people who falsely report from now on. I don't wanna wake up to a 7 yo getting salty over an internet message anymore.
If anyone tries to report it, a pop-up would say "This post has already been reported."
This could prevent mass reporting from every forum kids that see the same offensive message.
This isn't really a problem since multiple people reporting the same message is still considered 1 report, it'll just show a list of people who reported it instead. I actually find this quite helpful because if I see multiple people report it, more likely than not it's actually something against the rules. Also if I see multiple names and one of them is credible it makes the job a bit easier since I don't always need to look for context, whereas if we stop multiple people reporting there's a chance that someone who cries wolf gets the first report and we just accidentally leave it.
Unrelated but another thing I should mention is that people shouldn't report things from like a year ago too, I saw that this morning.

Recently we've been spammed with forum reports that are honestly just plain stupid and not even report-worthy. It's been happening for a while but I've decided to speak about it now because this morning I woke up to a whole page of reports made by the same guy and it's just full of messages from the same user. I won't expose who it was but it doesn't really matter because it's being done by several people and it's gotta stop.

Thank you for contributing to this topic. Unfortunately, you did not complete the challenge of "following forum rules" so I cannot award you your 20 challenge points.

Out of all of the criteria for rejecting a challenge, "this is a stolen track" is not shown in the list. i already explained in the comments WHY I stole the track AND EVEN GAVE CREDIT IN THE DESCRIPTION
Sorry that was me, I should probably update the first post so that it's clearer. I started rejecting challenges on stolen tracks since it became an issue after the topic.
Even though your case doesn't seem like you stole it on purpose I'm still not sure if I should allow it just to keep things consistent. I'm also not entirely sure what you meant by being 'forced' to steal it. DM me if you'd like to ask anything else related to this tho.

I created a challenge called "Unlucky Items" where you have to hit all the item boxes on the track "Larry's Scratchy Castle" in less than 13 seconds. This is rather tight, but by setting the number of CPU racers to 2, is manageable. However, the challenge was rejected for being "impossible". This is not the case as I have successfully completed the challenge in order to publish it.
I just checked what happened and in your case you just got unlucky because the items didn't load in for some reason. Nothing you didn't wrong and it seems fixed now 👍

Here’s a n64 bowsers castle challenge
The topic was intended to clarify challenge rules and guidelines, not to show people any challenges you have. We can already see them when they are pending.

- I make a Challenge, Publish it, and the next day it got Verified
- I make a Challenge, Publish it, and after a LONG LONG TIME it is still not verified, which is the case for some of my Challenges.
So what are the Challenge Validators doing? Like on the Discord I've seen 10-15 Challenge Validators but after a Month still nothing??? Also before you say anything like "ThEy HaVe A lIfE", think of the previous Situation of Max.
In your case, I have skill issue and can't beat some of them lol

Um so I have like 3 challenges from sky garden that i have been waiting for somebody to send me a reply for months and it still has not been checked yet.
Sorry about that, the validators have also been a bit inactive, admittedly there's a lot pending. I'll try to have a look when I get on my computer again.
On 2023-06-30 at 05:24:37
you were probably the one to reject this challenge but i didn't mean to make Sky Garden Coin Challenge 2 cuz I didn't realize until it was rejected that I had made 2 coin challenges please forgive me for making that mistake.
Don't worry, no harm done at all
It's our job to check anyway, a small mistake is nothing
On 2023-03-25 at 01:46:41
Reupload it and I'll have a look, sometimes validators may miss things. If that's the case just let them know (basically how you have done it here).
PS If it sounds like I'm mad about it I'm not. Just a wanna know where I'm going wrong so I can do better challenges .

But it was denied because the zones didn't work properly (Don't see how, they work fine for me) and told me to 'Make a large zone for the airship' DID THEY NOT GET THE CHALLANGE AT ALL!?
I didn't reject it but I couldn't figure it out either, I hit 2 of 3 zones but couldn't hit the last one.

Somebody rejected my challenge even though it was hard (at 999cc), I don't know what to do!
999cc doesn't directly mean it's actually hard. The challenge itself took barely any time and barely any skill, and nothing else made the challenge tricky.
Btw I was the one who rejected it in case you wanted to know. It was just too easy.

Of course the standards would be a little inconsistent given that there are several validators with different opinions. There are also language barriers which doesn't help.

Mine are usually easy and im not sure if thats a problem or not...
Anything that requires some sort of skill (the word 'challenge' implies it anyway). I would highly recommend time limits since it forces the player to actually try.
For example: collecting coins with no real restrictions is way too easy, and the player generally doesn't have to put much effort in. However with a time limit the player is forced to test their skills to earn points.
Another good suggestion could be to avoid touching certain decors so the player has to skillfully maneuver around obstacles.
My point is that challenges shouldn't be free. Point 4 in the original post also mentions this.

My Challenge got rejected because the TRACK had bad respawns, the key word is TRACK.
I can understand the frustration, but the reason why it was rejected is because those respawns would be super frustrating for the player to beat the track (and the challenge).
Track playability is also important for challenges. If the track has some annoying thing to it, the player tends to just dislike it subconsciously. I'll be happy to accept the challenge once it's fixed.
(btw I do take every aspect into consideration when accepting challenges, so please don't feel as if some decisions are unfair)
