There are many reasons I hate Nintendo.
1. They require you to pay to play online.
2. They made a Switch 2 when someone could absolutely mods their Switch and the result is a Switch 2, and then a brick.
3. They shut down the online servers so we can suffer through more pain.
Yeah, hopefully this will convince you to go on strike to Nintendo.

Every console has online subscriptions
Switch 2 is running games comfortably that the Steam Deck could barely handle like Cyberpunk 2077 & FF7R. Switch ain't running that shit modded if Steam Deck can't.
The online servers for every console have to be shut eventually. Wasting money like that is stupid. The only reason that PS3 hasn't lost it's servers is because Sony is still using PSN(and probably will forever). There was no PS3-specific service. If Nintendo had stuck to a singular service instead of trying random shit with their hardware every generation, we would've still had Wii online if the WiiU hadn't failed because they'd be using the same service. Fortunately, we're not going to have that problem for the forseeable future with Switch Online (there will likely be a 3rd and final Switch) because they're both running on NSO. Also NSO is $20 a year if you can't afford that you shouldn't be buying consoles or games at all, atleast until you get back on your feet. Like, if you had Switch online since 2018 you'd have payed $140-180? dollars by now, which is literally 3 last gen games. Like, relax.
Can we talk about stuff like the Joycons not being upgraded at all to prevent drifting(100% the magnetic Joy-con connection's fault this time), or the lack of transparency from them on things like VA changes(even in regards to the fucking VA herself(we'll miss you Samantha) and misinfo prevention, because there was a lot of that shit?(especially about the game key-cards)
There are so many valid criticisms to make but people love to get hung up on the most irrelevant, non-problematic shit.
The Steam Deck couldn't run Cyberpunk because it's too much to run. Switch 2 is a stripped down mess, so why are you even talking about Cyberpunk? If we're being honest, NEITHER console could run the actual thing.
Cyberpunk is literally running on Switch 2 at Upscaled 4K and a smooth 40fps, genuinely what are you talking about?
(Yes it's not on the same level at PS5 but the game is actually PLAYABLE which was my point)
Switch 2 is not something a Switch 1 could be modified to be.

No elaboration will be given until July 4th. (1 month since launch), and tiers are not ordered at all.
S: Whistlestop Summit, Sky High Sundae, Wario Shipyard, Peach Stadium, Peach Beach, Cheep Cheep Falls, Dry Bone Burnout, Toad’s Factory, Bowser’s Castle, Acorn Heights
A: Shy Guy Bazaar, Starview Peak, Faraway Oasis, Great ? Block Ruins, Boo Cinema, Choco Mountain
B: Mario Bros. Circuit, Crown City, Wario Stadium, Airship Fortress, Koopa Troopa Beach, Dino Dino Jungle, Mario Circuit

The cup intro themes, GP celebration theme, race results, GP results and ofc Staff Credits are also amazing!!!
Even with all the remixes, the new songs are by no means bad or forgettable!
The 3D World/Tour/Odyssey/old MK titles & credits remixes are a cut above the rest.
As for me personally, Peach Stadium is easily the best Nitro track theme in the game. That or Cheep Cheep Falls.

Two big changes for Mario Kart World!
-Blue shell dodging(w Mushroom) is now way too easy
-There is no 200cc(L) they're considering an update for it later.
The first one is...definitely concerning. If the Feather Dodge is too easy, then Blue Shells will be literally useless.
The second sucks for me, personally. 150cc is a power point presentation as far as I care. We should be going faster, not slower. Unless they do 200 & 250, this is gonna suck.
Also the character costumes are incredibly disproportionate.
The Core 6 have way more costumes than most characters (Peach has 1 less than Mario, for some reason), Pauline only has 2(good) DK has 1 or 2 as well(also good), the babies have a lot.

...Jamboree released on October 31. I think it was Thursday but can't confirm because I don't have a calendar app on my device...
I checked, it was the 17th (Thursday)
Another benefit to Thursday(for consoles) is it gives an extra 24h for something like a shipping delay. You still get the full weekend for it.
Not to say that you can't release stuff on other days of the week, Nintendo was doing Fridays (which is still better) up until Jamboree.
But it's way easier to use the end of the week when the main audience is school kids + working adults.

The Lightning item is so annoying! It messes up your speed so much in Mario Kart Wii. especially on turns. It's the worst item in the Mario Kart series. The Golden Mushroom is better.
I've never been struck by lightning irl, but I'd have to imagine that it'd be quite annoying for that to happen. World is nuking the shock into the ground anyway.

Bc development started in 2017 but the Switch 1 was far too weak for the game.
So technically, this is Mario Kart 9.
Which makes Tour Mario Kart 10!
Development restarted for the Switch 2 in 2020, hence the Booster Course Pass being used to fill in the gap.
The devs were aware of the "straight line issue" that the intermissions have, and took great care to address it.*

Don't you think Sonic Movie 3 is similar to Odd Squad?
- They were both filmed and produced in Canada
- Odd Squad was in 2014 while Sonic was in 2024
- They had holograms in some scenes
- Odd Squad Season 4 was for the UK, like when Sonic and the others go to London
- They both came near the end of the year
- Futuristic chrome stuff can be seen in places

Kids show based off of the Men in Black(blatantly so). It did pretty well when it was new, but that was in 2012-2014 so most people here would not have been old enough to interact with that. It's also Canadian so no Spanish version for Latam(which makes up most of the Americas and is singlehandedly keeping several channels alive) and it definitely wasn't showing in Europe...
Doesn't help that the latest seasons are shit (tho tbf it's a kids show about problem-solving and math, most kids shows are shit in general and PBS/TVO's whole shtick is actually teaching kids how to not flunk school rather than cool action/narrative, eg. Sesame Street, Geoff Keighley meme show(that's not what it's called, but you wouldn't know it if I said the actual name) Word Girl(other meme show) etc.)
Most impact kid's shows have is memes. Like, look at Bluey. Bluey is dogshit(haha get it) but it has memes and a cult following(this can be a bad thing eg. The Br****) so it lives.
It's also got that Disney money behind it.

That's not at all what I meant but the corn plate meme exists for a reason. I blame the attachment rate to the film to Disney making nothing but bad movies for half a decade prior.
That being said, they've got nothing on the Br*****, they've got a whole documentary on themselves. If you think this Odd Squad guy is Odd(recurring joke in the show), you haven't seen anything yet. They've got the Swarm's dedication, minus the cutesy AI.
