They Stardust Speedway Act 1'd Shroom Ridge and it sounds amazing



I definitely know what I'm doing for my Shroom Ridge now.

This game must be the 40th anniversary game.

Obviously no spoilers for the game itself are allowed but I think that just the music titles(which are just the track names) is very non-spoilery enough. Feel free to take down the post if it isn't(I don't see why it would be)

No elaboration will be given until July 4th. (1 month since launch), and tiers are not ordered at all.

A: Shy Guy Bazaar, Starview Peak, Faraway Oasis, Great ? Block Ruins, Boo Cinema, Choco Mountain

B: Mario Bros. Circuit, Crown City, Wario Stadium, Airship Fortress, Koopa Troopa Beach, Dino Dino Jungle, Mario Circuit

C: DK Pass, Salty Salty Speedway, Dandelion Depths, Moo Moo Meadows, Rainbow Road

D: DK Spaceport, Desert Hills

The buildup right before you start the final lap in Grand Prix races is also awesome!

Honorable mention to the Boo changing the music to be more muted (kinda like when you boost in 3D Sonic) and also the new Slipstream SFX!
The cup intro themes,  GP celebration theme, race results, GP results and ofc Staff Credits are also amazing!!!

Even with all the remixes, the new songs are by no means bad or forgettable!

The 3D World/Tour/Odyssey/old MK titles & credits remixes are a cut above the rest.

As for me personally, Peach Stadium is easily the best Nitro track theme in the game. That or Cheep Cheep Falls.

Not this one, the new one is pretty good.

I don't, tbh. It's better than most kids series.

Two big changes for Mario Kart World!

-Blue shell dodging(w Mushroom) is now way too easy
-There is no 200cc(L) they're considering an update for it later.

The first one is...definitely concerning. If the Feather Dodge is too easy, then Blue Shells will be literally useless.

The second sucks for me, personally. 150cc is a power point presentation as far as I care. We should be going faster, not slower. Unless they do 200 & 250, this is gonna suck.

Also the character costumes are incredibly disproportionate.

The Core 6 have way more costumes than most characters (Peach has 1 less than Mario, for some reason), Pauline only has 2(good) DK has 1 or 2 as well(also good), the babies have a lot.

Another benefit to Thursday(for consoles) is it gives an extra 24h for something like a shipping delay. You still get the full weekend for it.

Not to say that you can't release stuff on other days of the week, Nintendo was doing Fridays (which is still better) up until Jamboree.
But it's way easier to use the end of the week when the main audience is school kids + working adults.

Also they shifted everything to releasing on Thursdays a while ago. I think that was for Jamboree?

Definitely not beating the "only plays Mario" allegations.

Yeah. The END of the weekend. Anyone below 18 is only getting 1 day to play it for that first week. Anyone over 18 that is employed only gets 1 day to play it before heading straight back to work for the week.

Please peep the launch dates for the other consoles in between. Also Thursday is literally second best day of the week for a console release, Sunday is legit the worst.

I've never been struck by lightning irl, but I'd have to imagine that it'd be quite annoying for that to happen. World is nuking the shock into the ground anyway.

New news from the developer interviews on Mario Kart World!

Mario Kart World is Mario Kart 9! (More or less, anyway)

Bc development started in 2017 but the Switch 1 was far too weak for the game.

So technically, this is Mario Kart 9.

Which makes Tour Mario Kart 10!

Development restarted for the Switch 2 in 2020, hence the Booster Course Pass being used to fill in the gap.

The devs were aware of the "straight line issue" that the intermissions have, and took great care to address it.*

That's not at all what I meant but the corn plate meme exists for a reason. I blame the attachment rate to the film to Disney making nothing but bad movies for half a decade prior.

That being said, they've got nothing on the Br*****, they've got a whole documentary on themselves. If you think this Odd Squad guy is Odd(recurring joke in the show), you haven't seen anything yet. They've got the Swarm's dedication, minus the cutesy AI.

Kids show based off of the Men in Black(blatantly so). It did pretty well when it was new, but that was in 2012-2014 so most people here would not have been old enough to interact with that. It's also Canadian so no Spanish version for Latam(which makes up most of the Americas and is singlehandedly keeping several channels alive) and it definitely wasn't showing in Europe...

Doesn't help that the latest seasons are shit (tho tbf it's a kids show about problem-solving and math, most kids shows are shit in general and PBS/TVO's whole shtick is actually teaching kids how to not flunk school rather than cool action/narrative, eg. Sesame Street, Geoff Keighley meme show(that's not what it's called, but you wouldn't know it if I said the actual name) Word Girl(other meme show) etc.)

Most impact kid's shows have is memes. Like, look at Bluey. Bluey is dogshit(haha get it) but it has memes and a cult following(this can be a bad thing eg. The Br****) so it lives.

It's also got that Disney money behind it.

TLDR he's just rambling about his favorite show, ignore him.

(It's not even that bad but him being so adamant about it is pretty annoying. I wouldn't be surprised if thid guy joined the One Piece fandom at some point, he is that annoying about this.)

1: A lot of stuff is filmed in Canada, Canada has really good environments for shows & films.

(Public spaces are easier to use than the US, also both companies are Canadian based so...no, really?)

2: Most blockbusters release near a holiday, ofcourse it came out at the end of the year, Christmas is the only globally identified bank holiday

3: Odd Squad is barely futuristic, and Sonic 3 is only futuristic with the Eclipse Cannon

4: Odd Squad is literally based off of the Men in Black. It's not at all an original concept. The only thing they're missing is the mind eraser, and I specifically remember a couple episodes with an adjacent + the shades.

The only thing they have in common is that their MCs are way too nice for their own good and it always causes a shitload of problems.

Anyway, nobody here watches PBS, they're literally all EU & over the age of 10. You can't really have a discussion about this here. Nobody has a clue what you're talking about (except me because I didn't have a lot of channels or alternatives growing up: still don't and also because my brain is like 6) and the people who would know what you mean bcuz they're your age only know Fortnite & Roblox & Minecraft & GTA (ppl say CoD but kids these days wouldn't last 4 mins playing that) and grew up with abysmal stuff like Cartoon Network.

Nah, he's got it right.

My question is, when will free play be removed for these MKPC GeoGuessrs like it was for normal GeoGuessr?

Anybody else been having especially bad races/interactions in 8DX now that World has been announced? I'm guessing that a lot of ppl are playing it again to get ready for World or whatnot.
