Honestly this gives me memories of 3 of my 2022 projects (check spoiler)
Anyways, I said all of that to show fun collab projects are something I really like, while also giving me nostalgia of when I was a stupid 14/15yo "boy" (i'm now a 18yo less stupid girl) and since I have some tracks that could interest you, I gave you some links in dms (didn't want to share them here sorry), hoping that no matter what, even if you never finish this (I do hope it can be done one day btw), the most important for all of you is to have fun ^^ and good luck for making all of this, it's still a long thing to do 🥲
- one similar to this but in QM and only with me (collabs weren't exactly a thing), never really finished it
- another QM one who was a collab but like 1 month before the collab option was a thing (based on a specific common account concept from 2018, which you can guess, got kind of fucked by someone, tho it still has stuff in it, check @Compte_Communautaire), again some QM tracks were made with CM tracks being the objective after that, but was never finished
- CTGP-PC, it started right when the collab update dropped in late october 2022, got a lot of attention and tracks, and even tho I did accept some bad quality ones which kind of ruined the overall quality, was still a fun project that lasted some months, before going into inactivity in 2023, and then getting 2 revivals by other people, one being CTGP-PC Deluxe by @/Hazel, who got similar spirit but bigger standards (tho some bad tracks still got in), and CTGP-PC But Good by @/TheNudgyHampter, which even tho I clearly don't like him, did a damn good job selecting good tracks (tho once again some bad ones got in, but were removed since)

So I've been playing MKPC on mobile recently, but there's on problem. Every course with overrides crash for some reason. I don't know if this just happens to me or everyone else, but neither way, please fix this!
What phone do you have?

is there any specific track you know there were crashes ? I have a similar phone (A16 in that case) yet I didn't have any issue like that, and some testing could be interesting

weird because I did test a track with overrides (Star Festival by Mudky btw) and it did work, if everything is updated on your phone then idk where it can come from, but it's not an issue from the site I think :/

yes rubberbanding is a thing, like every mario kart game, also for the potential skill issue I don't know you but dw we have all been there haha

1Why does discord exist when we have forums?

The discord community IS NOT THE SAME as the forum one
- The discord community is kinda, how to say, hostile to forum users (bla bla they are kids bla bla they are stupid immature etc), which, even tho sometimes it can be true, I prefer a quite immature scene than a bunch of people spamming racial slurs for "joking" purposes (yeah some people of the discord community are wild asf)
- Also the discord server is only for 13+ users, be younger, don't get into it, and tho there's some underage users who aren't in it but on smaller servers made by other people (and also the CTP Lounge server), if you are too young then you would be kinda stuck if there wasn't any forums
- Also personal opinion but i'm more on discord because I prefer the more fast paced way to communicate on it (adhd fo brrr) and ngl having 2 options isn't dramatic at all, and ngl if there's something to fix, it's not the scene, it's the people playing on it (aka some users)

- About him, he started being active here in 2022, got banned multiple times mostly because he was "just" an asshole, turns out he got into what is basically n*zis communities, and either he's also straight up one, or is like "eh I don't care I wanna troll" (which is also bullshit btw)

...that's literally the point of time trials, if you get a WR (which then good job) don't expect people just staying there and not trying to take it from you, for example the only WR I managed to get (200cc Peach Gardens) was literally beat by Ahmad TEN MINUTES after I got it, and instead of being like "nooo ahmad why did you do that" I kept my frustration for myself and did tryhard it again, before getting it back some days later, and it stayed for like 2 months before Fways took the WR, so yep don't be surprised if someone is trying to be more competitive on a competitive scene, because once again, that's the whole fucking point
Nudge you have no 200cc skills so why you think I suck at 200, very hypocritical
Also "200cc skills" is quite a concept, because tell me how many base game tracks are actually not the worst shit you've ever seen in 200cc, especially when a lot of them are also awful in 150cc, and for Nudgy as much as I hate him, he's still really good and can probably do way better times (I need to check what he did in 200cc) it's just that he probably don't see the point of tryharding on a gamemode he doesn't enjoy and/or doesn't care about
