Do you think there could ever be a rating above Impossible?

In those types of challenges, zones must have some sort of hint even if it is subtle so the player atleast knows what they are doing

With the exception of coin collecting on a difficult track to coin collect ofc, as it'd still be a challenge

You can bend some of the rules slightly within reason

MKPC Veterans when they see an unexpected player set a world record

In the grand scheme of things, the speedrunning scene in mkpc is nowhere near as competitive as other games, including mainline Mario Kart titles. Maybe they are good at speedrunning in general? I'm not saying completely shut down the idea that this may be an alt, but just consider it

My goal by the end of the year is to reach the top 10 for challenge points and get as many of your challenges validated as possible

200cc WRs are less valuable than 150cc WRs because of 200cc not receiving the same amount of attention as 150cc, so there would be less bragging rights

Reminds me of Mattias Rustemeyer in Mario Kart 64's Time Trial scene, where the entire community tried to stop him getting all 32 world records.

If anything, having several people try take your world records is impressive on its own. It shows that your times are so good that MULTIPLE people are required to beat you. I only see it as a savage thing to do if you are ONLY targeting Ahmad to bring him down the rankings, still very impressive on Ahmad's part tbf

The community does not have the same respect for 200cc as they do for 150cc, since 150cc is the main engine class for literally everything. This is why it is easier to set world records on 200cc than it is to set world records on 150cc, I've set at least 1 world record on both and 150cc is definitely harder in my opinion. So bragging rights don't necessarily apply for 200cc, which I guess is why people are trying to set world records in 200cc.
(I must admit, having 10pts next to my name on a track feels kinda special to me, but that is besides the point)

Personally, I love 200cc, which is why I played a lot of SNES Rainbow Road on 200cc, as crazy as that seems to be. However, I don't want to set a world record simply for bragging rights, but rather for the 200cc engine class itself to have a bit more positive recognition from the community and the fact that it is (sometimes) fun to play, given I had a background of playing in competitive Mario Kart 8 Deluxe specifically on that engine class. It's cool considering yourself as "the fastest in the world" on a particular track, but I like to push the time down as far down as possible to see how fast I can really go. That's what motivates me to play Time Trials.



I'm going to say this how it is, instead of having a load of sugarcoating. Nobody was painting you out to be the "villain" over some 200cc records and how you play Mario Kart PC. Victimising yourself like this is not a good habit to get into, as this seems immature on your part and does not help your case. It is important to remember that the world does not revolve around you, so please be considerate of others who are seeing this and potentially thinking that the blame is put on them for your incorrect actions.


It's okay that you prefer Time Trialing 200cc more than 150cc, I prefer 200cc more too on certain tracks and on some tracks I prefer 150cc more. However, I think it is important for you to understand that Time Trials isn't just about trying to set world records or trying to get a good position compared to everyone else. Although that is a huge aspect of Time Trials, it is not the only thing you should be focusing on for Time Trials. Think of it like a practice mode where you can get even better at driving certain tracks and trying new techniques that may be risky to experiment with inside of a regular VS Race. If you aren't finding a game fun, you should stop playing it. Don't force yourself to continue. You've failed to understand this previously.


There is absolutely no need to seek attention on the forums and disrespecting other people like this. Plus it just makes you look more immature on your part.


I think you should re-consider why you are playing Mario Kart PC in the first place. If you aren't having fun or just hate the community in general, then this game is not for you. Take what I've said as a wake up call that disrespecting several people because of your Time Trial ego is not looked well on in general. Please take however long you need to reflect and come back once you understand why what you're saying is wrong and correct it. Thank you in advance.
