What is the best way to be fast
On 2022-02-04 at 21:23:21
I haven't mastered it, but is it switching between (LEFT/Right)-UP and (RIGHT/LEFT)DOWN strategically? Or is it different?
There's 2 different methods for it:
1: Switching between up and down. Intuitive, and it works well.
2. Pressing and letting go of just down. This one is harder to control in my opinion but it means you can go back and forth much quicker and thus cover less ground.
how Nintendo triggers me (this is my opinion and this is not a rip off)
On 2022-02-03 at 23:07:33
so miitopia got a remaster but not tomodachi life BRUH.
when's is Mario Kart 9 coming?
THE ONLINE EXPASION PACK DO I HAVE TO SAY MORE.
NINTENDO IS WAY TO OVER PROTECTIVE they copyright are fan games it means that you don't care about your fan Nintendo
also no more smash
also also no more Mario and luigi
SO MANY OF NINTENDOS GAMES NEED SEQUELS AND IF THEY DO PICK ONE ITS GOING TO BE THE WORST ONE ok I'm done
Time to debunk all the ones I can:
1. Sora had to be added. Sakurai stated that Sora was the most voted character in the DLC ballot, which means he had to be added eventually. Having him as the final character to be added in the game and potentially in the series, is fair.
2. Tomodachi Life isn't really deserving of a remaster imo, nor could you even remaster a game of that caliber. At that point just make another game.
3. Mario Kart 9 is rumoured to be in development, they wouldn't give a release date this early in if it was actually being developed.
4. Online Expansion Pack is becoming more and more worth its price. Online costs £18 here in the UK, which means that the games cost a total of £32. That's almost half the price of the games mentioned on Wii/WiiU Virtual Console combined. The emulation is also being improved, so stop complaining until we get a final result.
5. Smash isn't confirmed to be ending, refer back to point 1: "Potentially". The decision to end smash has not been properly made yet, but Sakurai said he was unsure about what to do going forward.
6...okay yeah RIP Alphadream

7. Which ones exactly?
Many things that will need to be fixed.
On 2022-02-04 at 10:36:53
We need to have an option to make 3D walls (without using decor with custom images) so we can make obvious walls.
2. Some courses
I went to play the official courses, and in some courses such as donut planes (3 I think), I was able to drive freely on the water. Another thing I found was that Rainbow Road for MKSC's ramps aren't there.

Other things also need to be added, but these are the biggest, easiest things to fix.
To counteract the second point:
Have you SEEN how thin DP3 is? If the water wasn't offroad, the track would be nigh-unplayable.
As for GBA RR, Um...bit of a problem there. The lack of ramps is the only thing that makes it a functional track, have you seen it in MKSC? If we had ramps everyone would be missing laps due to trying to jump over parts of the track, no thanks.
Talk About Online Races/Battles Here!

No, and this game would be better with keyboard anyway

On 2022-02-01 at 17:39:17
What does DM mean?
The first one I believe made the game less fun, since it caused massive frame issues and made the game harder for everyone else. Second I agree on, but now every character can reverse drift it's just impossible to maintain on some tracks. Third, yeah

Which Mario Kart do you think is the best?

12. Mario Kart Arcade Games\
I know this is an arcade, but the courses aren't that good, and the graphics are in 3D. There should be a lot more advanced courses because of all the memory the arcade can hold, but no. I don't really play it do idk?
11. Super Mario Kart
The controls are very hard to get used to. The game is hard, and the course naming... is... uh... WHAT!? Only one course has a cool jump. But it is kind of good. You could say the game is rigged as Mario and Luigi get to spam stars, you have 3 tries, etc. but you get red shell and ligtning, so it does balance it out. The music is actually great, and this is a good game overall, and very good for 16-bit limitations.
10. Mario Kart Tour
I've never played this, but... WHY ARE THERE 999,999 CHARACTERS!? Some people like to unlock everything, and for those, this is their enemy. We don't like Mobile Nintendo games. It is pretty decent and has good remakes, but other than that, it isn't that good.
9. Mario Kart Live Home Circuit
This game is cool for letting you build your own track, but for people who don't have big houses or have pets, this isn't good. I get why the bullet bill doesn't auto control... but... it isn't a bullet bill anymore. I think the game is kind of good and it is a very interesting game.
8. Mario Kart Super Circuit
I also haven't played this, and many people may disagree, but it doesn't really add anything new besides the tracks. It has all the SMK courses and has pretty good courses.
7. MK64
Again, many people will disagree, but this game isn't very good overall. One thing it needs is more boosts. It did have more varieties in courses and had more powerups. The rainbow road should have been one lap and had more obstacles.
6. MKDD
I really like the 2 person idea. Special items are awesome, and this game is overall good. I've never played it, but it seems very good. This game introduced more characters, and the music is good too.
5. MKDS
This game introduced new power-ups and nitro tracks. The bullet bill was a great addition, however many still argue about the blooper. The bottom screen was useful, and new characters were added... including... rob... um... WHAT!?
4. MK7
This game is really great. You got kart customizations and gliders. The Rainbow Road is awesome. 1 lap tracks were introduced here, And you gotta love the Maka Wuhu shortcut. Coins were a nice come back too.
3. Mario Kart 8
WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO MARIO KART!!!! Anti-gravity has been added and tracks have so many varieties. The battle course... um, let's not talk about that... the DLC is very good, and the character roster is giant. They heavily improved N64 Rainbow Road. And Big Blue is the best track in my opinion. The graphics are super polished.
2. Mario Kart Wii
I think this is mostly my opinion, this is the first Mario game I played. Motion controls are challenging in a good way, and tricks are very cool. The Rainbow Road is tied with Mario Kart 7 in my opinion, and most of the music is very good. My favorite is Coconut Mall and Rainbow Road. (I noticed the Rainbow Road music was very similar to the DS one)
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
DLC comes with the game, and you have Gold Mario (an unlockable reskin of Metal Mario) Most things are already unlocked, and double items are back! 1 New battle mode and 2 readded. In total, you have 5 battle modes!! The battle courses are great, and everything is just, better!
This is my opinion, so feel free to put yours in. Let's hope MK9 comes out soon!
Very controversial opinion here, but I can't really find myself liking Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
I'll give it credit where it's due, like the battle mode and such, but there's a few issues I have with the game.
1. Online. The matchmaking from my experience is extremely flawed, as someone who doesn't play online often the amount of max VR/people who are close that I come across is insane. For a super-active game this is ridiculous, you're telling me there's no-one near my perceived level in the newest MK game?
2. The lack of progression. Behold, the game that holds your hand through it all by giving you all the characters and all the cups unlocked the moment you boot up the game. Deluxe port, I know, but it's supposed to improve upon the game, not take away one of the things I actually like about Grand Prix.
3. As a competitive MK player I'm gonna sound extremely biased here, but it's just boring from that perspective. There's almost no visual flair to the gameplay and most techniques look like your average player's movement. It's the one MK where I can't really appreciate the visual appeal. Not to mention how the double item mechanic made items so much more powerful, almost completely overwhelming the skill aspect from my point of view.
As for my own list, I won't give reasons since I've done this before, but here we go:
1. Mario Kart DS
2. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
3. Super Mario Kart
4. Mario Kart 7
5. Mario Kart Arcade GP DX
6. Mario Kart Double Dash
7. Mario Kart Wii
8. Mario Kart 8
9. Mario Kart 64
10. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Not ranking MK Tour or MK Live because they're not real mario kart games

This is my opinion.
Correct, and I'm giving mine

Mario Kart Wii is the best because the community updates the game with new features, tracks and game modes such as 200cc, Item rain and countdown.
So what you're saying is that the base game doesn't hold up and needs to be improved upon by the community in order to survive
No i am not saying that i was saying mario kart wii was the best cause the community made more gamemodes.
Yeah, but the game isn't alive today because of the base game. It's alive because of CTGP. Taking the base game into account it's far from the best

How do I do the 'strafe-like' movements on Lakeside park
On 2022-01-27 at 14:12:15
what is snaking?
Performing mini-turbos by drifting left and right in sequence as a character that has high handling
On 2022-01-26 at 18:12:59
No, I mean what the top times use, like drifting backwards backwards... just look at the top times on that map
I wouldn't recommend you try that yet, and focus on just snaking instead. But if you really want to know how to reverse drift, just charge a mini turbo and then alternate pressing the accelerate and brake buttons. That's the basics at least
What character has the best stats?

Hmm I say daisy because it easy to do boost with her so in my opinion i say she has the best stats.
No competition here really
Petition For Mario Kart Pc to fix their Online say I
On 2022-01-28 at 22:16:21
Im saying they need to fix their online because everytime i try to play online it's always lagging and somehow i always end up in the same servers when i try to join another one.
Two things:
One: The servers are better than they should be, considering that this is literally held up by one person.
Two: There aren't enough people active online to join "another server", there's pretty much always just 1 room open
Help how do i beat the golden mushroom cup
On 2022-01-24 at 17:28:38
pick funky kong his good mkwii so he must be good mkpc
Haha, no. That's not how this works at all. Funky Kong is far from good in this game
Can someone help me with special cup ds? (mkpc's grand prix mode)
On 2021-10-24 at 19:26:31
red shells backwards to hit me and blue shells hitting me (in second place) instead of the person in first place.
also the cpus are being faster than a mushroom without using items and in general driving me crazy.
especially in bowser castle ds and rainbow road ds.
(WHY AND HOW ARE THE CPUS DOING PERFECT TURNS AND GOING THROUGH THAT SINGLE SHORTCUT WITHOUT ITEMS)
i've been having a lot of trouble with this cup due to certain cpu's throwing also the cpus are being faster than a mushroom without using items and in general driving me crazy.
especially in bowser castle ds and rainbow road ds.
(WHY AND HOW ARE THE CPUS DOING PERFECT TURNS AND GOING THROUGH THAT SINGLE SHORTCUT WITHOUT ITEMS)
Okay, a few things here:
1. Blue shells will go after whoever was first when they reach a certain distance between them and the driver, so you can't simply drop into 2nd when the shell is nearly here.
2. No, they do not go faster than a mushroom but definitely faster than they should because of rubberbanding. Item smuggling helps a ton against them.
3. It's absolutely possible to take the bowser's castle shortcut without a mushroom. I only have experience of doing this as Daisy but you need to be on the cylinder at a 30 degree angle (may differ for other characters depending on speed) and you can stay on there no problem.
Anybody have any tips for beginners
On 2022-01-07 at 21:14:28

Feel free to ask us for anything else by the way. I want to do a more comprehensive guide on how to get good at the game one day, but for now just ask us for specific tips and tricks
Opossum's Noob Guide
On 2021-12-23 at 16:02:49
Main thing I'd say we need to mention is on the snaking part. For those who see this: Always practice on Figure 8 Circuit. The wide track makes it less punishing for beginners and thus is an easier training ground.
On 2021-12-22 at 19:07:14
Snaking
Some characters's drifts turn blue so fast that you can drift boost on straight roads, not just turns. If done well you can go extra fast.
Back before the Engine Update of March 2020, all characters could snake easily, though it was done differently. But soon after the "snaking patch" a new method was discovered, but could only be done efficiently with Birdo and Daisy.
Since Daisy is a bit faster she is the only character that is used online (aside from custom characters with the same stats as Daisy.)
Battle Mode
Shells can be thrown through walls, which can prove useful in some situations. It is common to place bananas and fake items on top of item boxes to make them harder to reach without getting hit.
In SNES Bowser Castle 2, a shortcut can be taken by mushroom boosting and hopping of the dead end.
Try to block off the Broken Pier shortcut with bananas and fake item boxes.
Anything I missed?
Worth noting that a mushroom isn't required to make this jump, it just makes it easier. You could also jump off without a mushroom and respawn almost directly on top of the boost panel, which is still faster
To everyone out there...
On 2019-05-02 at 21:34:52
I'm gonna be honest. This entire argument is bs. The only way you can get called out for cheating is the infamous lag teleport, which isn't even within your control. As is with most of the cases surrounding Gary, this is stupid and I think we should end this now.
