Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Which is your Favourite Copy Ability?
On 2022-05-14 at 12:37:00
Chain Bomb. (I am only in World 3 when writing this so, it could change)
You're gonna love homing bomb then, it's the same ability but it homes in on enemies and deals more damage ESPECIALLY when you get the chain going
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Next DLC Fighter

Technically speaking, we already have Koopa in smash ultimate, but only in the Japanese version. It's Bowser's Japanese name lmao Seriously speaking, he's basically been deconfirmed. Sakurai said the DLC fighters will be from games and franchises that smash hasn't touched yet. So Mario characters are out of the question.

@MK8player Bayonetta can also be considered under Sega's ownership. They didn't makes the games so idk why

Seriously though, I would personally love to see an unknown character like Ex from Puyo Puyo Tetris (Hell, Hero got in, any unknown character can lmao). People have told me "What if they put Tetris in smash" and a character who actively uses Tetris as a form of combat would be perfect.
As for moveset, he could uses the Tetris pieces (duh) for attacks and projectiles, but some of his combo spells in-game would make for nice specials. Using some of his voice clips as taunts would be awesome, like imagine killing a Sonic main and then saying "Speed up!" to give him a taste of his own medicine, so satisfying. Oh, and a cinematic final smash that hits you with a barrage of T-spins and Tetrises.
I know he isn't very unlikely, but personally I think he'd be awesome, also seeing as other co-devs like Capcom have got 3 characters in the roster, why not Sega?
Grand Prix is WAAAAY TOO hard
On 2020-12-09 at 18:26:02
I have had to explain this many times. So, let's go through this again:
Why are the CPUs so difficult to beat?
Immediately set to Difficult, severe rubberbanding (They gain speed if you're too far ahead); set route that prevents them from ever hitting offroad and ignoring all types of "special" road (This is what makes DS Bowser's Castle the hardest track in GPs, they drive over the moving floors like normal track)
Is this fair?
I agree this is extremely unfair, but there is a reason for this. A harsh difficulty spike is one of the most effective, if not cruellest, methods of getting players to improve. I have drawn parallels to Diddy Kong Racing before and the first battle with Wizpig, and I will do it again because that's an example of this sort of spike. It forces players to master the game to beat it, and that's the idea here.
Okay, but how do you beat them without relying on good item luck?
Sadly, good item luck is part of the game, we can't avoid that.
But there are a couple of ways to make the races easier.
The first is sandbagging, deliberately staying in the lower ranks for most of the race to get a strong item, then carry them to first. Rubberbanding only affects you when you're in first, so only get to first at the end.
Second, take advantage of a flaw in the CPUs. They don't drift at all. Meaning they'll always be at the same speed the entire race. So if you can get enough mini turbos out, then you can outspeed them. So time for every pro players' competitive crutch, Daisy. She can get the boosts pretty quickly and her high handling just makes her a safe choice for avoiding obstacles. Get used to using her and every track should be somewhat easier.
I know I went on for far too long, but I hope this helps anyone seeing this topic.

The challenges of each cup
On 2022-05-09 at 16:39:24
I tried the Blue Shell Cup yesterday, and I gotta say, it's very annoying how I can't control my kart on Koopa Beach 2 half of the time, the CPU's always avoid the deep water, and it feels like luck if I even get in the top 4.
Then win by luck. Stay in the lower ranks and get items that will let you keep control over the water. Free win

yay i completed it (Little plank shortcut thing i found in time trials for ghost valley 3, mario circuit 4 was easy, nothing really happened in bowser castle 3, bullet bill and stuff in rainbow road)
Congratulations

Okay I don't want to flood the forum posts so talk to me privately
On 2022-04-16 at 18:36:48
ghost valley 3 has alot of holes and stuff, bowser's castle 3 has no barriers, rainbow road... uhm... also the CPU's always pass me for some reason
Okay all I can really say is just get better at controlling your character, and focus on the first 3 tracks. If you do extremely well at them then Rainbow Road won't matter. If you need anything particular come ask me

the golden mushroom cup (except Mario circuit 4)
Please be more specific, what's the problem with them?
On 2022-04-14 at 02:45:12
What exactly are you struggling with?

I think in driving stats, diddy kong is the best but daisy is still really good
Nah bro. In this game, highest handling reigns supreme because higher handling = faster mini turbos, and mini turbos are broken.
On 2022-03-30 at 23:36:19
the best characters are actually diddy kong, koopa troopa and donkey kong
Donkey Kong is a worse version of Bowser so there's that.
And at top level the stat that matters above all else is handling, so those with the highest handling stat will dominate over the other characters. Out of said characters Daisy has the best stats so she's the best one
I did not mean in driving I just meant my favorite characters are donkey kong, diddy kong, and koopa troopa
Then specify that it's your opinion, not objectively the best

what is the best character to use to beat all mkds 150cc cups in mkds
On 2022-04-29 at 18:58:12
Welp, good luck
On 2022-04-29 at 18:19:19
Because of the lack of speed. If you aren't getting mini turbos as much, then dry bomber isn't going to provide much advantage, and its only remaining positive is if you already mess up. Egg 1 provides a good balance of speed, MT duration, off-road and accel
On 2022-04-29 at 16:59:17
im asking this here cause almost everyone here has played mkds before, also i want to unlock R.O.B.
Yoshi/Egg 1 is always a good bet. The character doesn't make too big of a difference but Egg 1 is crucial
UNBAN COLBURN2020!
On 2020-11-27 at 21:47:52
AND DON'T THINK YOU'RE MAKING SILLY OF ME!
Also MudkiPro, if you're watching this, please unban him or else I will get account deleted.

I will give it to you straight: MudkiPro didn't ban him, I did. He was banned for inappropriate behaviour in girls' DMs, after we asked him to stop on the forums.
Don't protest without knowing what you're fighting against.
Ranking every MKPC item
On 2022-04-10 at 19:03:13
I'd actually rank the star lower than Mega Mushroom for 1 main reason: speed. The star doesn't actually make you that much faster and you can still outrun it with SMTs. Mega mushroom on the other hand, the difference is staggering. You can easily get back into the race with one of those compared to a star
the odd thing is that that's the exact reason I made that decision
Because of control?
