I like most of these except Toad and Toadette. I like their pogging faces, I'm kinda mixed on Koopa too.

We already have plenty of items I don't think we will be getting many more except maybe if the Poison Mushroom gets replaced since it's not a "real" Mario Kart item. (Yeah it's an NPC exclusive item in SMK and it's in the arcade but who cares) I think the only items we will get from now on are exclusive to custom item distributions. Anyway I'm bored so let's go look at all the mainline (not including Tour I haven't played it) items and see how likely they are to get in the game. (Any item still has a chance of getting added albeit very unlikely and exclusive to custom item distributions at best.)
Boo - One of the most annoying Mario Kart items and one that won't make it in this game either. Not because it's annoying, but since we already have a mid place dodge item with the Mega Mushroom. Despite that, this still is one of the more likely ones simply due to the fact it's pretty popular.
Boomerang Flower - Another one of the more likely items to be added. Still, don't think this item would work well due to the fact this is a 2d game and the perspective could be hard to tell. Definitely more likely than the Boo though.
Bowser Shell - With how narrow some tracks are I highly doubt this one since it would be just impossible to dodge.
Chain Chomp - Redundant, we already have the Bullet Bill.
Coin - This one won't be happening for two reasons. 1: there is no coin mechanic in this game. 2: We already have fake item boxes as a 1st place item that doesn't block reds.
Feather - Might look like a perfect item for this game at first glance, but with the way checkpoints work this would either lead to the feather either being useless or not making your lap count.
Fireball - Maybe if they reskin this as the Fire Flower? Feel like this would be a worse Green Shell though.
Fire Flower - Similar to the Bowser Shell, this would be impossible to dodge.
Giant Banana - Again, impossible to dodge. I do think this is one of the more likely ones as you can see this one coming usually.
Lucky 7/Crazy 8 - These items are the definition of pointless, they're essentially just a Star and a Mushroom.
Piranha Plant/Super Leaf/Thunder Cloud - These would not work with how laggy online is. Sure maybe singleplayer exclusive but I doubt Wargor's doing that.
Super Horn - Too overpowered. You basically can't lose if you're in first if this item gets added. Sure you can make it rare/exclusive to lower places at which point it becomes redundant since we already have Mushrooms.
Heart/Yoshi Egg - These are the only two items I think have a reasonable chance to make it in. I don't really see any problems with them.

Like Discord, Youtube made the genius idea to make your 'real name' @name but allow 'nicknames' because the website didn't have enough scammers already
Anyway, decided to make it one big video (with timestamps) instead of a series as I think that'd be more convenient (maybe I'll make a part 2 later down the line to answer some more specific questions but probably not)
Probably starting on the actual video itself tomorrow, I'll post on this topic when it's finished though it'll probably take a while

Sky High Sundae is a rare case of an oval actually being good tho, I love cutting the final corner.

I usually do 1024 x 1024, or 2048 x 2048 if it doesn't fit, but canvas size doesn't really affect the track outside of the minimap anyway.

Help? All the tracks I make look fine, but also really vanilla, and making good looking characters in this game is a complete mess unless you're a pixel art god.
Something something practice bla bla bla, an easy trick I often use for tracks is a noise filter to make it "detailed"
That isn't really what I was talking about. Like, how can I get a track that looks more like something Lely or Max or RHcks would put out and less like something you'd find in the bargain bin at your local department store?

I don't recommend this, the pixels are way too big and there is no room for detail.
