Decided to skip most of the uninteresting ones this time so I don't sound like a broken record.

I really don't get how forum kids think. If you know it's useless, why even suggest?
While I do think custom tracks should be in the default online mode, this would be a terrible way of implementing it.
add: Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Paratroopa, Metal Mario, Lakitu
Tracks: Add GCN Tracks the whole community has done it
QOL: Add less time for boosts because boosts last too long. Also personally for me, the AI always gets Bob-Ombs and Triple Reds.

Feel like that's a bug actually.

For an example, this course has 2 Starting Points. 4 Racers start on the left, the other 4 start on the Right. The only way to achieve this is having the Starting Line somewhere random, then a Teleporter would Teleport 4 Racers to one Starting Point, and the other 4 to somewhere Else. Can we add Split Starting Points? It would make Certain Courses easier to make.
That would only be relevant if you want to make a track like this, it's useless to make something only 1 in 10.000 tracks (and that's being generous) will need.
It could also show their VR/BR amount and country flag in smaller text below their nickname. More information about each player in online mode other than just their nickname:
You already see their amount at the end of every race. Maybe an unpopular opinion from me but country flags would be lame as it would be 70% French, 25% American and 5% everything else, but that's just how I see it ig.
You can already make a custom bus decor to recreate this, though the bus hitbox is not exactly ideal. Agree with CPUs being able to trick though, anything that makes them less boring to play against is an upvote from me.
And no, I can't just use CM because I can't make 10X10 QM Styled Tracks in CM.
Also, could Coin Runners and Bob Omb Blast get added? I really wish there were more options in Battle Mode. (Also, in my opinion, I like Coin Runners better than Balloon Battle.) I have another Suggestion. Could we change the Grid size from 6X6 to 8X8? 6X6 feels too cramped.
The whole point of Quick Mode is that it is limiting. Also you can absolutely make bigger QM tracks in Complete Mode, you're just lazy.
More battle modes are unlikely as nobody plays battle mode.
Similarly to the feather, this would break every track. Also Reverse Drifting would still be alot faster.
i think custom bullets would be cool, like why not? i know it might mess with people and what's a bullet and whats not... but they can look on the minimap, check the speed, and see if its bigger then normal.

Make it so occasionally, four random custom tracks will be playable in Online if a session is going on in the base game. This would be a great way to share tracks with other people.

So I have some suggestions that have been mentioned and one entirely new one that I don't think anybody has suggested yet:

-Comment section on the forum for off-topic messages (kinda like SFA but you can post ""whatever"" you want. of course it has to be moderated for reasons)
-More fonts and colours for Forum messages
-More Translate options in Forum messages (like into Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.)

I just thought of this, when recreating DS Peach Gardens, the Chain Chomps have a certain route they follow, however since we can't give the Chain Chomps a certain route, it's a little harder to do so, because they move in a small circle, but that's what I just think. And Let CPU's trick off of ramps in custom tracks.

There are lounges on Discord, but there's the issue that many people here are younger than 13. CT Project has SQs which are similar to tournaments though it's rare for more than 8 people to show up.
Ultimately, barely anyone plays the game.
Would be cool but could also take away from the game as I think paying attention to the minimap is part of the gameplay. I do think this should get added, albeit as an optional setting.

I know you kids are so amazed at the thought of a secret item but trust me you only enable the dark shell when you're just dicking around. In my 2 years of playing this game, I think I've only played with the dark shell like 3-5 times and that's just a casual lobby with Nodac.

No. This game is already alot more narrow than other MK games so this would make them straight up unavoidable at times.
Bullet is supposed to be strong and I'd say it's pretty balanced. You can edit the item distribution if you want it to be less frequent.

I have no problems seeing the blue shell item but sure whatever if people have issues might as well change it.

Attack items alerts would be a quality of life addition that shouldn't be too hard to code for (at least I don't think so).

It's just annoying because it always comes without warning and makes you lose your item. There's nothing more annoying than trying to catch up and take a shortcut with triple or golden shrooms just for the noob behind you to screw you with a bullet.

So when I was time trialling Wii Mushroom Gorge by Keqing, I had to make sure to charge up a mini turbo and release it at the edge, so I could take the beginning shortcut without using mushrooms. It was super annoying to do because every time you finish a lap, the time and stuff will flash on your screen. It was really hard to see what I was doing, so I wish you could toggle the flash or change the duration. This is really small because it's a whole bunch of yap
I also wish you could erase zones (and also whatever else you draw but can't erase); if you make a mistake you have to start over right now (if there is a way please let me know)

What if we could customize items for tracks, cups, and multicups. What I mean is like being able to change item appearance rates to your liking. Also being able to make custom items by combining items. For example, maybe you want to replace the triple bananas with 5 bananas like in MK64. All you'd do is set the triples appearance rate to 0, then make the custom 5 bananas thing. (also, just because, you could make a special item that gives you 10 shocks cause why not) It'd also be neat if you could do like the decors in complete mode, where you can change stuff like the sprites and maybe even the size. This way, you recreate items like the GIANT Banana, Bowser Shell, or GIGA Bob-omb from Mario Kart Tour.

For GP mode sure, but VS would just be annoying. Also not sure how this would work as many decors are set to not move at all until the race begin.

In the character editor, you'd have an option to include a three (or five, Wargor's choice) frame image that would play when tricking. Not choosing a file would result in the default animation being used. Customizable menu themes for multicups

It's like when you play a game with randomly generated math problems and you get "[write any number] divided by 0".
6. Super Horn. I think that it actually may fit the game. If used, it goes behind the vehicle like bananas and shells do. After pressing a use button again, it makes a sound wave around you which makes opponents stunning and destroys an item, even blue and dark shells.

For example, yesterday i played a 1v1 with a 30k vr player, and i won 3 races in a row (+8,+8,+7 vr respectively), before losing ONE match and i lost 300vr for that alone. It should not be so unfair. make the vr gain/loss less ridiculous in a 1v1.

maybe you can create a new route for reverse(e.g in airship fortress reverse when you are driving up that tower,there is no cannon to shoot you to the cannon in normal mode,so say you make from that tower's entrance you drop down to another airship(which is connected with the next part of the track that is possible in reverse).Like how MKW does with some of its tracks. I wish there was reverse mode,and the game checks

I collected a lot of my suggestions from all the time. Now read the list of them:

2. Holes for Monty Moles and Rocky Wrenches as separate objects instead of parts of a circuit's image.
3. Waluigi Pinball flipper should be in Quick Mode.
4. If your message, a topic where you wrote a message or a topic you follow were deleted, you should get a notification.
5. It should be impossible to get 0 points in Online Mode. That's uncommon, but still unfair as heck. Not to offend anyone or to disrespect their opinions, but I was unpleasantly surprised that some users were actually against this suggestion, because it's "uncommon to get that many points". Yes, it is, but still possible and unfair. It feels like the game wants to gloat on me in some way. It's like when you play a game with randomly generated math problems and you get "[write any number] divided by 0".

6. Super Horn. I think that it actually may fit the game. If used, it goes behind the vehicle like bananas and shells do. After pressing a use button again, it makes a sound wave around you which makes opponents stunning and destroys an item, even blue and dark shells.

You could add staff ghosts! Every track could have a ghost created by someone on the MKPC team and a faster ghost unlocked after beating it. You could also let people optionally set their own custom staff ghosts on their custom tracks. There could even be unlockables for beating staff ghosts in the main game or on custom tracks!

I have a request and it is to add another type of leaderboard and that this one be of the best times in time trials no reverse drift. This is so that people like me who play on cell phones have more opportunities to finish, for example, in the top 10 on a track.

Custom Item Roster for Multicups much like the Custom Character Roster. If someone is making a SNES Multicup and wants only SNES Items then they should be able to customize which items are available as well as the distribution.

There are probably other tracks this could occur on like maybe the SNES and GBA Bowsers castles, but it happened on GV3. It'd be nice if the effects of the explosions were changed not to do this.
More about the Bob-omb. If you're Mushrooming and one explodes on you, You get sent FLYING. My issue is that this can screw up certain tracks. For example, I was losing on GV3, so I was trying to cross the line as fast as I could. A There was a cluster of CPUs, and one of them whipped out a Bob-omb, which also hit me. It sent me flying to the right, off the track, but when lakitu picked me up, he put me down back in the middle of the track. Here's a map to the track so you can see what I mean: I think that's a bug where you bump against a cpu and get hit by a bomb at the same time. Hope it doesn't get fixed though as it's really funny.

Personally I think we should have different options for cc when starting a Grand Prix like MK8DX.
I don't mind not having 50 or 100, but I'd like to see 200cc and possibly even mirror 150 if that's possible.

Day 1 - Open da gifts: Solid first challenge, nothing crazy but not bad either
Day 2 - Open da boxes: Kinda similar to day 1 so wish they were spaced out more, but still a cool challenge
Day 3 - Drive in the pyramid without having fun: Well this quickly went south. Boring as hell and slightly rng dependant, not to mention the track being 5 laps long making it last over 3 minutes of doing absolutely nothing
Day 4 - Mario Circuit 1 but fast: Not much to say other than it just being a very fun challenge, I am a good reviewer I swear
Day 5 - Coins on da beach: Feels like filler, this is the most average challenge of all time. Boring quick mode track and the coins aren't really put into any clever spots either (common quick mode L)
Day 6 - Dodge stuff as Toadette: I like dodging stuff but this was pretty easy, also Monty Moles are not good decors for a challenge like this since they just pop out of nowhere
Day 7 - Collect coins in da sand pit: Nice short challenge, no negatives to say
Day 8 - Coins on da beach (but good): Basically everything Day 5 wishes it could be. Coins are all put in clever spots
Day 9 - Racial war against slimes: Cool challenge, however the slime decors are probably the worst pick for a challenge like this since they can just despawn at any moment (yes it's technically not rng, but no it does not matter)
Day 10 - Coins at da roca picudas: Probably my favourite coin challenge, requires some nice routing and you actually need to use the time trial mushrooms which are often ignored in challenges
Day 11 - Shy Guy is going to die: fun challenge, I cheesed this one so bonus points for that
Day 12 - Big Maze: Another one I cheesed, the fact Wargor programmed it so you couldn't just take the image was really cool and I felt INCREDIBLE when I eventually outsmarted him, even though this probably took more time than just beating it normally
Day 13 - Commit robbery to kill fish: Really clever pow usage and hitting the cheep cheeps can be a bit challenging as well, especially if you're stupid enough to go for the first 5 cheep cheeps instead of the 5 cheep cheeps that are in a straight line. What really hurts this challenge tho is the fact it's quick mode. I'm fine with quick mode if it's for a challenge but the stupid 1 pixel wide holes on shy guy beach makes this really annoying
Day 14 - Dumbass puzzle: It was a cool idea I guess? I brute forced my way through this one ngl, wouldn't have figured out the solution if other people didn't tell me. But even when you know the solution, there's a 30 second time limit so you don't even have time to think.
Day 15 - Bro ate too much: Probably the most infamous challenge lmao. This challenge is hard as hell ain't gonna lie and let to several debates on challenge difficulty in the Discord lol. As much as I hated this, I honestly really like this challenge. It's not rng dependant which most "difficult" challenges tend to be and it's nice to have something hard as most of the challenges in this calendar are incredibly easy
Day 16 - Impossible possible puzzle: I like 'puzzle tracks' like this so I had fun, even though I already beat it earlier so it was a breeze for me
Day 17 - POW: Incredible challenge, really fun and cool and original. Excellent practice for pow dodging if people still aren't too familiar with the item (it's been 3 months man learn the game) and also a nice bonus unlock of an INCREDIBLE custom character. Challenge does have some rng but if you're skilled enough you should be able to dodge pow every time, though it can get quite hard at times when several pows stack on top of each other
Day 18 - Jump on da boos: Nice little platforming challenge that some people apparently struggled with lol, not much to say on this one it's just good
Day 19 - Cursed boobs or something: 'Battle mode bosses' is one of the worst genre of challenges imo, it's easily the worst case of rng = difficulty in this game, anyway I beat this boss almost entirely by standing still lmfao
Day 20 - Extreme difficulty king boo race: Neat idea but the restrictions can be negated very easily lol
Day 21 - Racial war against snowmen: Another glorified coin collection mission but still a good one, can get pretty tense as the challenge goes on
Day 22 - World's somewhat difficult game: I like dodging balls. Jokes aside, one of my favourite challenges. My only criticism is that the red balls can spawn right in front of your face which isn't very fair
Day 23 - Drive 4 tracks without having fun: Oh boy where do I even begin on this one, I am baffled someone thought this was a good idea. They really just picked one of the worst challenges (day 3) and said "Now you're gonna do it 4 times", it feels more like a joke honestly. This takes like 8 minutes to beat on a succesful attempt. I'm starting to understand why you forum kids always yap about things unrelated to MKPC, because this game is incredibly boring without reverse drifting. Add some rng dependancy on top of that and a very poorly programmed track (Rainbow Road) and you got yourself the worst challenge of the calendar.
Day 24 - Like 100 challenges in one: Luckily we don't end on a bad note as the worst challenge gets followed by the best challenge. I won't go in depth much as people still need to beat it, but I really like how broken this track is. It feels more like a sandbox and I hope Tox doesn't patch it ngl
Overall thoughts on the calendar: most challenges were pretty good but there naturally were some stinkers as well. The fact that all these challenges have to be possible without reverse drifting does kinda suck though, shows that there's some big skill gaps in this community. Hopefully we could possibly get an easy advent calendar next year, with a second "hard mode" calendar or something.
Anyway ggs if you read it this far, hope you'll note some things down if you're planning to make some challenges yourself (maybe it'll appear next year)

Day 2 - Open da boxes: Kinda similar to day 1 so wish they were spaced out more, but still a cool challenge
Day 3 - Drive in the pyramid without having fun: Well this quickly went south. Boring as hell and slightly rng dependant, not to mention the track being 5 laps long making it last over 3 minutes of doing absolutely nothing
Day 4 - Mario Circuit 1 but fast: Not much to say other than it just being a very fun challenge, I am a good reviewer I swear
Day 5 - Coins on da beach: Feels like filler, this is the most average challenge of all time. Boring quick mode track and the coins aren't really put into any clever spots either (common quick mode L)
Day 6 - Dodge stuff as Toadette: I like dodging stuff but this was pretty easy, also Monty Moles are not good decors for a challenge like this since they just pop out of nowhere
Day 7 - Collect coins in da sand pit: Nice short challenge, no negatives to say
Day 8 - Coins on da beach (but good): Basically everything Day 5 wishes it could be. Coins are all put in clever spots
Day 9 - Racial war against slimes: Cool challenge, however the slime decors are probably the worst pick for a challenge like this since they can just despawn at any moment (yes it's technically not rng, but no it does not matter)
Day 10 - Coins at da roca picudas: Probably my favourite coin challenge, requires some nice routing and you actually need to use the time trial mushrooms which are often ignored in challenges
Day 11 - Shy Guy is going to die: fun challenge, I cheesed this one so bonus points for that
Day 12 - Big Maze: Another one I cheesed, the fact Wargor programmed it so you couldn't just take the image was really cool and I felt INCREDIBLE when I eventually outsmarted him, even though this probably took more time than just beating it normally
Day 13 - Commit robbery to kill fish: Really clever pow usage and hitting the cheep cheeps can be a bit challenging as well, especially if you're stupid enough to go for the first 5 cheep cheeps instead of the 5 cheep cheeps that are in a straight line. What really hurts this challenge tho is the fact it's quick mode. I'm fine with quick mode if it's for a challenge but the stupid 1 pixel wide holes on shy guy beach makes this really annoying
Day 14 - Dumbass puzzle: It was a cool idea I guess? I brute forced my way through this one ngl, wouldn't have figured out the solution if other people didn't tell me. But even when you know the solution, there's a 30 second time limit so you don't even have time to think.

What are some replacements for paint.net? I'm on a stupid chromebook so it won't run a bunch of file types. Paint.NET doesn't work bc it has to on a Windows device, as well as being .exe, which just doesn't work on Chromebooks. Ones that work

1. Just make a battle multicup, it wouldn't make sense for a random cup to be battle mode if you just want to race

3. The cup limit is 40 due to technical reasons so it's impossible to increase (if I'm understanding correctly). However, this is already way more than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which only has 24 cups in total. It is also very rare for a multicup to even reach 40 cups, unless it's a massive collaboration like ctgp
4. The character limit is 120, which I'm assuming is also due to technical reasons. Again, very rare occurrence for anyone to come across

Mario Kart World is being worked on but will be a seperate multicup. It will likely have the same people though.
