How does Mind Reading work?

This is the person's brain:

*thought*  *emotion*
    *meaning*   *related memory*
   *thought*    *thought*
      *unrelated memory*
       *thought*

And Opulent knows all that except the unrelated memory when she activates her power. So, she finds out everything the other person knows. Also, she can use this to find the intentional meaning of words, which is useful when someone speaks a different language. She also knows what others are thinking, intending, or feeling. Memories are a little trickier.

Opulent can only discover memories related to the topic, or in other words memories the person is thinking about. Unrelated memories can't be accessed UNLESS the person is thinking about it.

Locked memories are trickier.

Locked memories probably aren't relevant to this fanfic, but basically they are memories that the brain does not allow the person to know. They aren't forgotten, they are just memories that they can't know. They can remember those memories, only in certain circumstances. If they are TRYING to think of a locked memory, Opulent can access it.

So in this case, Sebastian's mind is thinking about Dawson, but what he is saying to himself is: "No.. No No No.. Why Is He Here Too?" In this case, Opulent knows what Sebastian is saying to himself and WHY he is saying that. (Dawson being a dangerous agent.)

I know I didn't include it previously, but Nommanic and Opulent both HAVE been playing their instruments since long before The Story. I didn't include that because, well, I didn't think of that trait when I submitted them. Fanfic characters change! Also they are haven't aged at all in 2 years but that's just fanfic logic.

Nommanic's just lying through his teeth because Opulent reminded him that no one else knew they play instruments back in The Story. That's my take on how this doesn't contradict The Story, or in other words is headcanon.

I don't think there's a win condition for that. But, you can just make the win condition to get a faster time than whatever time it takes for the ghost to finish the race.

For example, if the ghost takes one minute and thirty seconds (1'30) to finish, you just put the win condition as finishing the track before 1:30

That's kinda unrealistic. They would probably, idk, learn it from their parents, or learn it at Toad school from a teacher. But I guess Peach would also teach some Toads because... what does the Princess even do in her free time?

(I wrote this in normal story style.)


    "I know you are wondering why I brought you here," Guiltriper says.


    "Yeah, we are."


    "That's because I'm throwing a GUILTY PARTY!!"


     Everyone cheers at the prospect of a party.


    "First, we'll go to a hotel, then we all just goof off," Guiltriper explains.


    "May I make a suggestion for the hotel?" Opulent asks, raising her hand.


    "Yes?"


    "The Best Inn," Opulent replies. Then, quickly reading Guiltriper's mind, she continues: "It's complicated."


    "Oh, okay."


    Santino, John, and Robinson were elated going to a hotel.


    "It'll be super fun!" Santino exclaims.


    "Yeah!" All three of them shout.


    "Hey, speaking of parties, who's that?" John asks, pointing at Mimi.


    "Woah," Robinson replies.


    Meanwhile, Opulent and Mimi were having a fun conversation.


    "Yeah, I agree. By the way, what's your favorite kind of meat?" Mimi asks.


    "I'm not sure, but I do like burgers."

Santino watched, worried that their friendship might fall apart.


    "Okay, look. Why don't we just ask her?!" Robinson shouts.


    "Because that's JUST ILLOGICAL!!" John responds.


    Robinson was about to punch John for his irrationality, but Opulent stepped in between them before it got out of hand.


    "Calm down! Just calm down and don't start anything! Calm down!"


    "No!"John and Robinson both shout.


    "If you don't stop fighting, I'll... er, have to knock you both out!"


    "And how are you going to do that?"


    In reply, Opulent simply dialed her Poketch. Everyone watched, anxious of what she will pull next. After a minute of agony, two fire extinguishers appeared above John and Robinson's head, and after knocking them out, disappears.


    "Our first crime in the GUILTY PARTY!!!" Guiltriper cheers.


    That was not all. Then, Opulent called someone else on her Poketch.


    "I'm calling a lawyer."


    "Oh hey, I was gonna do that!" Guiltriper replies.


    "@OCM originally decided to add him, but thought he wouldn't be a bundle of laughs at a party so he left him out."


    "Who is he?"


    "Blue Folloreht."


    "Well, that's it for this first meeting. We'll meet tomorrow at the Best Inn, 3:00 P.M. I'll go invite some more people now."

Spring, and it's a head on collision of power VS power-- okay, comboing with the WOOF Mobile, okay, Nommanic to Trainer, Down Special, ending the combo, double-jumping under Final Destination, then Up-Specialing to the ledge, drop, switch to Shy Guy, Up-Special again... Got FSmashed, Nommanic throws away his spear and Side Specials back, Side Specials Odie, who wall-techs, BOING Spring to recover, but Nommanic command grabbed, threw him off stage, Nommanic back to Trainer Mode, Down Smash, another stock. Now, Odie-- Wait, what? SPAMMING WOOF MOBILES?! Oh no... okay, Nommanic throws his spear, and Side Specials to the OTHER ledge, the one that doesn't have WOOF Mobiles, and grabs the ledge, jumps, and turns to Trainer Mode, sends his Pokemon, which apparently are not affected by the Mobiles' hitboxes, and dies. Then, he stalls and uses his Pokemon to attack, starting with Surf by a Vaporeon, then Flamethrower and finally a DynamicPunch to end the match. Next,

   THIRD LAP, FINAL LAP!!!

   This is it. The final lap. So many racers are bagging in a desperate chance too... oh no, Explorers and Explorer win. Uh oh. The Pro Karters are not friendly right now. GamerGuy and GamerGirl are safely ahead of them, just like the shou-- anyways, Kevin and Stella aren't having a great time.
