You may submit a character only as a trainer. Requirements: trainer's name, trainer class, Pokemon, levels, items, and where they can be found.

Anyways, this fanfic will have as many seasons as it needs. What do I mean by that?

Well, this fanfic follows the journeys of the protagonists from the various Pokemon games, with some creative decisions by myself, too. So, each game will be a season, and this includes spin-off or side series games as well.

Season 1 (1996): Follows the journeys of Fire, Leaf, and Aqua across the Kanto Region

Season 1.5 (199: Follows the adventures of Elaine and Trace as they journey across Kanto

Season 2 (2000): Follows the Johto Storyline, including Ethan, Silver, and Lyra

Season 2.5 (2001): Follows Ethan, Silver, and Lyra as they collect the Kanto Gym Badges. Also involves Chris.

Season 3 (2003): Follows Brendan and May as they adventure across Hoenn and stop Teams Magma and Aqua

Season 3.5 (2005): Follows Wally's story, occurs after season 3, and based on the Delta Episode. Also involves Kris.

Season 4 (2007): Follows Lucas, Dawn, and Barry across the Sinnoh Region.

Season 4.5 (2009): Follows Akari's retelling of her adventures across Hisui... technically occurs in 2009, but the adventures technically occur around the 1800s

Season 5 (2011): Follows the adventures of Hilda, Cheren, and Bianca across Unova.

Season 5.5 (2012): Follows the adventures of Rosa and Hugh across Unova.

So in case you haven't noticed, these seasons take place in their games' release year, and each region has two seasons.

Season 1 Prelude

Oak: So? Which will be your choice?
Leaf: ...(Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle...?) ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...I choose you, Squirtle!
Aqua: ...(Aw man! I wanted to choose him! ... but I guess) Charmander! (is not that bad, either.)
(After choosing her starter, Leaf starts to leave--)
Aqua: Hey, Green! Wait up! I challenge you!
(A battle starts.)

Oak: (I guess I will commentate.)

It's Squirtle vs. Charmander! None of them know any super-effective moves, so the battle is even. Squirtle starts with a Tackle, and Charmander hits a Scratch on Squirtle's shell! Now, Charmander uses Growl! Squirtle's Tackle has lost its power! Now, Charmander Scratches, and a critical hit! Squirtle faints.

(Aqua smirks.)
Oak: Oh, before I forget! The Pokedex... Wait did I tell you about them?
Leaf: Yes.
(Aqua and Leaf then both leave the lab to go on their adventure.)

Oak: ... ... ... (Why isn't he here yet?) ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... *takes Bulbasaur*


Meanwhile...
Fire: *wakes up* ... ...I'M LATE!! *runs*
(He reaches the lab and runs inside.)
Oak: Ah! I was expecting you! Welcome! So, which will be your choice?
(Fire first selects Charmander, but nothing's there. Then selects Bulbasaur, but nothing's there either. Then selects Squirtle, but nothing's there...)
Fire: ...
Oak: Oh! ...Uhh
(Fire exits the lab. A few minutes later, a Pikachu's cry is heard.)
Oak: ...! *"runs" outside*
(Oak throws Pokeball at Pikachu, who gets caught.)
Oak: That was dangerous never go into the tall grass alone! ... Since I didn't have a starter for you, you may have this PIKACHU. Oh, and before I forget, this is a Pokedex! It automatically records data...

Nommanic: I have my reasons! Edgeyworthy, use Magical Leaf! And now that we weaken it, we throw the Pokeball. Pretty simple, right? I'll let you decide who keeps it.

All: Sounds good.
(Kiara's group enter the portal.)
Phanto: ... Where's the chest?
Opulent: What?
Phanto: Ruined nether portals always have a chest!

Phanto: Wait... what's this?
(He holds up a Red Orb.)
Opulent: What's that?
Phanto: Not sure. It might be important, though. I'm keeping it.

The Blue Orb

(Meanwhile, at Mt. Silver...)
Nommanic: Hm? Why is your Squirtle holding... that?
Jay: Isn't that just a... Wait, I'm pretty sure that's NOT a Mystic Water.
Nommanic: I thought so. Anyways, what is this orb? An orb to trigger Mega Evolution or-- OH, Primal Reversion!
Jay: ...!?
T: ...!?
Nommanic: What?
Jay: Why is the Pokeball's button lighting up?
Nommanic: ... ... ... ... IS THAT A KEY STONE?!?
All: What?
Nommanic: According to Bulbapedia,
A Key Stone (Japanese: キーストーン Key Stone) is a Key Item introduced in Generation VI, which is used to allow a Pokémon holding a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve. It is unobtainable in Generation VIII.

When the Key Stone is activated, the Pokémon's corresponding Mega Stone reacts to it, starting the Mega Evolution process. Trainers often keep their Key Stone inside a personal accessory, such as a Mega Ring, Mega Bracelet, Z-Ring, or Z-Power Ring, though there are exceptions to this.

Despite being integral to the Mega Evolution phenomenon, little is known about the origin of Key Stones.

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Key Stones, along with Mega Stones, seem to have a strong connection to the meteoroids that rained down on the Hoenn region millenia ago. Matt and Professor Cozmo found a Key Stone and a Galladite, respectively, in Meteor Falls, an area known for having been struck by meteors in the distant past. According to the lore passed down by the Draconids, as told by Zinnia at Sky Pillar, a huge, brilliant meteoroid that struck the planet 1,000 years ago, creating the crater where currently lies Sootopolis City, allowed for Rayquaza to respond to the people's wishes for salvation during a time of desperate need and undergo the world's first-ever Mega Evolution—in this sense, the meteoroid acted as a Key Stone. Maxie/Archie also considers the possibility of altering the Meteorite's qualities to those of a Key or Mega Stone.

Unlike Mega Stones, Key Stones have not been associated with the firing of the ultimate weapon in Kalos. An old legend associated with the Tower of Mastery speaks of a Trainer and Lucario finding the first known Key Stone and Mega Stone in the area.

According to a loading screen text in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Key Stones work by amplifying the bonds between Trainer and Pokémon, enabling them to channel the power of Mega Evolution.

The Key Stone allows the player to Mega Evolve their Pokémon if they hold the appropriate Mega Stone. A Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle (or only have one Mega-Evolved Pokémon at any given moment).

Nommanic: Wait, no, Koopa's held item is a Blastoisinite, I think. THIS is the Blue Orb, which SHOULD trigger Primal Reversion if a Kyogre holds it...

The Jade Orb

Kevin: That's a village!
(They all head to the village.)
Villager: <Hey, everyone! Visitors!>

Kevin: Hey, just saying, some people... Mackenzie, Nepalrawr, Magpie20, and EAS want to join our group. Just thought you should know.
Nommanic: Okay... just make sure you get the Jade Orb, okay?
DarkLord: There it is! The Orb!
Villagers: ...!
(TDL takes the Jade Orb and leaves.)
Kevin: Bad news. Uhh... someone stole the Jade Orb...

Nommanic: Okay. But first... *collects sugar and puts it inside a bottle*
Veenyx: Wait, what are you doing?
Nommanic: I'm making a bomb to break the portal after we enter it.
All: WHAT?!?
Nommanic: I'm done. You enter first and I'll follow.
Sabrina: Okay...
(Sabrina and Veenyx enter, them Nommanic ignites the "bomb" and them enters the portal.)

T: *to self* they're back.
Nommanic: I'm back! This is Veenyx, and this is Sabrina.
Veenyx: Hi!

Nommanic: I think this is about where our destination is.
(Everybody returns the boats.)
Nommanic: ...and those are some ruins! I think that's a portal there.
(They head to the portal, which was already lit, and enter it.)

(When they return to the overworld, some people are already there.)
Nommanic: Hey.
Kiara: WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?!
Veenyx: H-Hi. You're so beautiful...
Nommanic: My name is Nommanic. And the guy that just fell in love with you is called Veenyx. He's a friend of mine.
Veenyx: ...
Kiara: Why does HE have to do this?! We just met!
IRyS: Come on!
(Kiara is still in a nervous breakdown.)
Sabrina: Don't worry... what was your name again?
Kiara: Kiara.
Sabrina: My name is Sabrina. We can be friends!

Nommanic: This place is the Sinjoh ruins, located northwest of Mt. Silver. Hoenn is too far away. Johto is too far away. And Sinnoh and Kanto are on the other side of the mountain. The nearest Pokemon center is on the other side of the mountain, too.
Luna: Then, where are we supposed to sleep?
Nommanic: Hold hands, everybody.
(Everyone holds hands.)

(Everyone teleports to the Mt. Silver Pokemon Center.)
Kiara: This might seem out of place, but what's your last name?
Nommanic: Folloreht.

Nommanic: Oh, almost forgot. Veenyx, Sabrina. Come.
(He leads them to the entrance of Mt. Silver Cave.)
Nommanic: You two still haven't got a starter Pokemon yet. So, what would you like.
Veenyx: A Larvitar.
Sabrina: An Eevee.
Nommanic: Okay. First, the Larvitar... *heads into Silver Cave* Now, where is it... there! Edgeyworthy, use Yawn! *throws Ultra Ball*
(Nommanic catches the Larvitar.)
Nommanic: Here. But I thought Larvitar were a darker shade... next... *heads into the Pokemon Center and gets the Shiny Eevee, then comes back* the Eevee.
Both: Thanks, Nommanic!
IRyS: Hey... why did you bring us here in the first place?
Nommanic: Resources. There's wood and a cave here.
IRyS: I guess... and it's actually easier to get back to the Ruins that it is to get here. Thanks.

???: *from within the cave* What the--
Ollie: WHO WAS THAT?! Goodra, use Iron Head!
???: *from within the cave* Uh oh, uhh... have Riolu use Swords Dance into a powered-up Aura Sphere! Wait, no, Aura Sphere is a-- *phone hangs up*
???: *from within the cave* Riolu! Use Swords Dance!
Ollie: Almost there! Another Iron Head and--
(The wall cracks open.)
Ollie: !!! Someone's there! Goodra, use your Pulse moves!

Nommanic: ... ... (A Rhyperior... Ground type. So is Groudon... ... ... It's likely Groudon's true origin is... the nether. The nether is dangerous... withers, blazes, piglins... nothing too dangerous though. I'm also probably gonna go to the nether sometime as well...)
Opulent: Hello?
Nommanic: ... I'm thinking! (As for them... well, it's not THAT dangerous, as long as they don't fall into the lava. And traveling is easier in the nether... I could reunite with...) Do you know what the nether is?
Phanto: Yes, but it's--
Nommanic: I have a plan. I think TDL (The Dark Lord) will go after Groudon, considering that her signature Pokemon is Rhyperior. So of course, we will try to stop her.
Phanto: What? But the nether--
Nommanic: Remember, you have Pokemon by your side.
Phanto: ...
Nommanic: Isn't traveling in the nether 8 times... hey, have you heard about ice boat racing?
Phanto: They built that in the nether?

Kevin: *looks out window* Why... are there leaves floating in the air?
Marcelo: I dunno. Hey, we should investigate! I'm also kinda bored...
(The two go outside.)
Refridge: Hey, where did they go?
(He goes outside.)
Nommanic: Hey, where did Refridge go?
(One by one, they all go outside.)
Marcelo: Hey, I have an idea! We should try to have an adventure ourselves!
All: Okay...
Marcelo: Here, some axes.
(All grab axes.)
GamerGuy: Should we collect wood?
Nommanic: Why?
GamerGuy: I learned Minceraft from watching Phanto.
(All collect wood with the axes.)
Kevin: I think I also got a thing or two from Phanto. We make a pickaxe, then get stone, then...
(Kevin explains everything he remembers about Minceraft.)
Nommanic: ...(So, if there some logs were missing, then that means somewhen else...!) Wait, why are my internal thoughts projected to the viewers?
Jay: I dunno. Maybe because @OCM has decided to make you the protagonist in another fanfic of his that will not take community characters, and because 1). You are based off a fictional detective who uses logic and 2). Your favorite Mario character is Luigi, who can use Luigi Logic. Though I'm pretty sure someone else will be the protagonist in this Season. Maybe Kevin? If not, maybe Marcelo?
Nommanic: Okay...
Kevin: Stone tools ready for everyone!
(All grab da stone tools and start da strip mine. A minute later, they fall into a cave.)
Zombie: oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhh

Nommanic: That slang isn't even invented yet! It's 2015! Anyways, don't forget I was a war veteran! (And an Elite Four challenger!)

(Nommanic doesn't say anything and instead starts fighting the zombies.)

Nommanic: Well, I guess I have to tutor you guys into being Pokemon trainers...

Alright, guys. As of REAL time (2025), there are more than 1000 Pokemon, but you only need to focus on about 200. Pokemon battle to gain EXP, which helps them level up and get stronger. At they level up, they learn more, stronger moves, and might evolve. Also, their stats increase. To catch Pokemon, you throw da Pokeball at a WILD Pokemon. If you attempt to catch a trainer Pokemon, they will knock the ball away. You buy Pokeballs and other items at Pokemarts. Rest your Pokemon at Pokemon Centers or just do it at home. Your chance of catching a Pokemon depends on their level, HP, and status. When battling, make sure to use super-effective moves to deal more damage, like using Psychic moves against Ghost IN GEN ONE. This does not work in later gens. Well, that's it.

Kevin: While you were talking about Pokemon, we went and got some iron, just to let you know. And we made torches.

Marcelo: I'm feeling like training Pokemon!
Nommanic: There aren't that many of them around here. So we either have to do it less frequently or go through the--
All: ...?
Nommanic: ... nothing. (subtle foreshadowing lol)

Episode 1.2

The Great Cave Offensive

Phanto: Alright, got our pickaxes made, ready to explore a cave!
Opulent: I sure hope we don't run into any people who meet "fools dare intervene" with "extreme force" and don't evolve their Rhyhorn in the middle of a Pokemon battle and do not knock out girls to the cave wall, and thus another trainer doesn't has to use a Pokemon weak to Ground in an unsystematic way to defeat the Rhydon!
Phanto: Of course! It definitely did not happen about 19 years ago in the region south of here!
(Passerby Girl walks by.)
???: ... (Why? First that trainer I was sure for SO LONG was a woman told me I didn't care for my Pokemon, then another trainer came by and AGREED with her-- him, and told me about this kid called "FireRed," and I couldn't even climb up that Silver mountain to meet him, and my team got DESTROYED by that stupid "Volt Tackle" Pikachu! WHY?!)
Phanto: What's she saying?
Opulent: I dunno.
???: Hey! Whaddya staring at?!
Passerby Girl wants to battle!
Passerby Girl sent out Umbreon!
Opulent sent out Lizard!
???: Hey, hey, wait!
All: ...!
DarkLord: I'm the Dark Lord. So, you (Passerby Girl), would you like to join my cause?
???: ...y-yes.
DarkLord: Good. *to Opal & Phanto* Don't say a word-- you know what? *launches them into the cave.*
(Lizard continues the battle and easily defeats the Umbreon with Ember.)
Opulent: Lizard, come back!
(Lizard returns to his Pokeball.)
DarkLord: As for you two... Rhyperior, use Horn Drill Kill Child!
(Rhyperior uses Horn Drill on Opal & Phanto. Phanto dodges it, but Opulent, susprisingly, FAILS TO READ and gets hit.)
DarkLord: That's good. Rock Wrecker, and Earthquake, and we're outta here.
(The cave caves in because of Rhyperior. Phanto quickly grabs a stick, lights it through dubious means, and puts it on the ground to break the falling debris. Then he starts digging with his stone pickaxe.)
Phanto: What now?

Phanto: I dunno...
Opulent: Can't we just collect sticks? ... We CAN make stuff with sticks.

Opulent: I mean, in something like a wood pickaxe, it's a stick stuck to a bent stick, right?
Phanto: yeah...(I'm stuck. I think I should ask Nommanic through GamerGuy...)
Opulent: It's fine.
(Phanto calls GamerGuy.)

GamerGuy: I think he's talking about Minceraft, but I'm not sure.
Nommanic: Hold up. *takes out Pokegear and starts searching* Well... first of all, where are you?
Phanto: I think we're at the easternmost part of Sinnoh...
Nommanic: That's... not exactly good.
Phanto: What do you mean?
Nommanic: The only sheep you can find in Sinnoh are Mareep, but they're at Valley Windworks, on the west side of the mountains. You'll need to get there somehow, but walking is too slow. Do you have Running Shoes? Or a Bicycle?
Opulent: No, we just got here.
Nommanic: *sighs* Well, I guess you need to sleep on the floor until they get the Mario Kart Transport system ready to go.
Phanto: Okay... wait they're building a Mario Kart Transport System?
Nommanic: Yeah, it's because of an interest to make Sinnoh more suitable for tourists. Oh, and I almost forgot! The Mareep are electric type, so make sure not to get paralyzed by their "Static" ability! If you get paralyzed... either buy a Parlyz heal at a Poke-mart or take some herbal medicine, like Salveyo weed or Heal Powder. Is that it?
Phanto: What about mining?
Nommanic: Well, there's a coal mine somewhere, but for general mining, just go to a mountain or cave. One more thing. If you need Salveyo weed, Poliwag like to eat them, and they only grow in lakes. To use the weed, boil it. You can make herbal tea from it. Try not to get poisoned or frozen. If you get poisoned, find some Remeyo weed, or just go to the nearest Poke-mart and buy an Antidote. Actually, just get some Antidotes to begin with. If you get frozen, just... thaw yourself out.

Blue: It's... hard to explain! This cliffside is being attacked by pirates and we need to defend it! Come here!
(They all climb up a ladder.)
Blue: I'll try to explain everything as briefly as possible!
Music:

   The Pro Karters are attacking this island on a pirate ship! We need to kill them by destroying their respawns with either an axe, hand, or explosive! After that, we kill them! We each get our own kit to do so! Red, Green, and Yellow are here already! You can't swim or else you die, and you can't run away or you get the Coward's Curse! If you die, you respawn if you can. You gradually regain the items you use! I'm the Captain! Red's kit is the Hawk, Green's is the Bomber, and Yellow's is the medic! I can program / hack new kits for you!

   Okay, first... Refridge! You have cryokinesis, so I'm gonna program an Iceball kit... done! Next! Kevin! You can swim, right? Okay, now you can... you have a sword, a bow, and infinite explosives. Next, Marcelo! You can spawn VG weapons, so... full Moonstone armour and tools, a lot of everything... Next, T! Uhh... I dunno. Upgrade to full iron and diamond tools, I guess...? Next, Nashatra! You like Forsaken, right? Err... a Moonstone sword, a Speed Potion, an Invisibility Potion... Next, Jay! You're a bagger, so you rely mainly on items... done! Next, Opulent! Fireball kit! Next, Nommanic... I'll just reuse the Chemist kit (potions) and add some stuff... Done! Next, GamerGuy! Okay, mostly just Electric ball... oh, and a Gun! Okay, I'll give you my favorite gun which just so happens to be a sniper-- Next, GamerGirl! Well, this time a fire BEAM and a crystal... Next, Phanto! You like Minceraft [sic], full diamond for you... Next, Indianario... Slipper Sword and compass, I guess. Next, Navy... *sigh* you don't have any special powers, whatever, full iron, diamond tools... Blue: Oh shoot! Okay, let's so what you can do! *runs*

GamerGuy: *stacking up* ...this way, we can snipe them if they try to destory the spawns.

Phanto: *from below* Me, Opulent, and Refridge are gonna guard this place, while the others are bridging...
Opulent: Ow! Poison!

Opulent: Someone with poison arrows just sniped me!
GamerGuy: *from above* I'll get them... *bang of gun* Yes!

(Everyone else except Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow are bridging.)
Nommanic: I think this is good enough! Okay, get ready, and I'll throw the knockback potion!

(On the other side, Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow are bridging.)
Blue: I think this is enough!
Green: Okay, I'll put down this explosive...
Red: Are you sure we're gonna be fine?
Blue: Of course! We have a medic AND a Captain here!

Pro Karter: Hey! Get them!
Pro Karter: CHAAARGE!!

Blue: Alright, put down this beacon, then prevent it from being destoryed and launch the explosives everywhere...
(Several explosives appear, then Red fireballs them so they get to other parts of the ship.)
Kevin: Okay, now!
(Kevin and Stella mine the hull of the ship and try to destroy the spawns, but--)
Pro Karter: Get them! CHAAARGE!!!!
(Kevin and Stella get overwhelmed by the Pro Karters.)

(Back at one of the spawns...)
Stella: Ow!
GamerGirl: What happened?
Stella: I think we just got swamped by them...
GamerGuy: *looking carefully* I think that distracted them, though...

(Meanwhile...)
Blue: *to Green* You got all the explosives?
Green: Uhh yeah.
(Three KABOOMs from above.)
Blue: Good job-- AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!
Pro Karter: Take that, you--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
(He gets fire-beamed and electric-balled by GamerGuy and GamerGirl.)
Pro Karter: Uhh...
(Blue swings his axe, then finished by stabbing the Pro Karter, who dies.)
Blue: Okay, now that that... we know where the last on is.

(Back at the cliffside...)
GamerGirl: *from above* Uhh... one... of them is here!
(Refridge freezes the offending Pro Karter, allowing Opulent to fireball him until he dies.)
GamerGuy: *from above* ...and he spawned... right there.

(On the ship...)
Blue: Okay, so get away when the explosives appear, okay?
All: Yes.
Blue: Here goes... *places another beacon*

Blue: Okay, just protect the beacon!
(Everyone prevents the beacon from being destroyed. Then, explosives appear and everyone runs.)

Nommanic: Okay, that's enough of that.
Blue: What?
Opulent: What?
Nommanic: Blue. I NEED to ask you something.

(Music Change)

   Everyone immediately rushes to the roof, where they see a Ghost.

   "Can't you use Phantolom to fight back?!?" Nommanic shouts.

   "That's the problem! It's too high level!" Phanto replied.

   "Then we just have to run!"

   And they did run. They ran down the stairs to the second floor.

   "Are we-- noooooooooooooo!" The ghost entered the room. Everyone ran down another flight of stairs.

   "Let's get out the front door!" Marcelo shouts. But it was stuck.

   "Then we have to get out through the other door!" Indianario replies.

   The group runs into the other door, into a large hall.

   "My compass finds a bomb that's about to explode!" Indianario shouts at the top of his lungs.

   Everyone immediately runs to the exit at the opposite side of the room. To get there, they have to run up a short flight of stairs, which Opulent tripped on, falling backwards instead of forwards, because this room uses Anime logic, not real-life logic.

   KABOOM!

   "M-Made it!"

   "Just barely!"

   Everyone was celebrating, but Phanto suddenly decided to run back in the burning hall.

   "Wait, what are you doing?!"

   Phanto, inside the building, jumped in front of a piece of rubble that was going to hit Opulent, sustaining a cut to the face as a result.
