I don't usually respond to many topics but ig I'll share my thoughts and predictions:
Acorn Cup:
- Tour Rome Avanti
This track doesn't suck at all imo, that one section just feels a bit more enclosed than what we're used to. If you played this in tour and didn't have fun grinding RA2R, it's fair to not like it (and I didn't enjoy it either) but I'm sure it will play far differently in 8dx than drifting awkwardly in Tour
- GCN Dino Dino Jungle/GCN DK Mountain
I'm leaning towards DDJ on this one because it's a bit more conventional and easier, and we all know 8dx has been pretty simple given most of the players are just casual or inexperienced players. I also don't really like the Tour model of DK Mountain, but I can't say it's out of the question for appearing in Wave 6

- Tour Piranha Plant Cove
Both Singapore and Vancouver have appeared at the end of a cup, so I'm assuming this track, which also has variants, will appear here too rather than the 2nd track of Spiny Shell Cup

- Piranha Plant Pipeline
Again nothing much to say here, maybe other than the prefix 'tour' potentially not appearing, similar to that one track in every other wave
- SNES Bowser Castle 3
A SNES track was initially datamined for Wave 5 but that didn't happen, and since BC3 has the biggest revamp and most effort put into it, it's highly likely it would've appeared here. Keeping tradition they would've put it right before the next track...
- Wii Rainbow Road
A Wii track was datamined to be in this slot, and it was remade in Tour too. I just hope it's 3 laps and not overscaled. I've also seen a lot of DS RRs being thrown around but tbh idk what evidence supports that logic.

It COULD be Madrid, but.. *Clears throat* MASSIVE DRAIN (I know I'm stupid).Also since I forgor to include character predictions, I'll just go through them quickly.
My first prediction is, of course, Funky Kong. WHY would Nintendo not add Funky?
Now for the second. All characters in the bottom row are crossover characters + the Mii. So I'm not predicting Pauline or Diddy Kong (Shocker.) so I've gone with R.O.B. because they were in MKDS and they're technically not a Mario franchise character.
Actually, Piranha Plant Pipeline is MobDK (for Dokan)

Aight, based on Swiftjar's YouTube video on the matter, (Here it is,) we should see 2 Tour Cities, 2 Nitros, 2 Double Dash tracks, 1 Wii track and he said Super Circuit, but he probably meant SNES. Wii Rainbow road is pretty much confirmed, and Piranha Plant Cove, that new Pipe Nitro and Rome Avanti are 100% Confirmed. Personally, I don't believe that Madrid will get a city, so my prediction is Cairo (Egypt) because in THIS image...
I have encircled a portion of the promotional art of a small desert with pyramids and a palm tree. Every other building on this artwork is from a city track, so a city from Egypt makes sense.

The idea I have will be similar to something I've done in school, where everyone takes turns writing a chapter. The only 2 restrictions are that you can't just go "F*ck this. I'm completely changing the plot" and you can't include a forum user unless they have joined. I would start off, but I started off the school assignment and everybody hated me for a month. I'll let people join first then worry about that later.
if you join we'll need all the usual stuff (Name, Species, Colour, Personality) but this time I'm not sure if I want to include abilities because in I Forgor there were 2 instances where abilities clashed with my planned plot.

Just wanna say, these wont act like pokemon cards. There wont be energy in this, but I'll explain how the board will be laid out.
There will be 5 slots on each side, and one in the middle. The middle slot on your side will be a terrain. The next 2 slots are 2 character slots, where your fighting cards go. Finally, there are 2 items slots for your characters. The center slot will be for whole field effects, such as weather

Surprised so many people here like Mario party 9. From what I’ve seen most people dislike the game because of its car mechanic that forces players to stay together. (which does suck tbh, still like the game tho)
And nobody's giving 10 the love it deserves
First ever MP game I owned, a shame they didn't bring back more 10 minigames in Superstars.
Also where are the DS, Star Rush and Island Tour minigames? I get they weren't included because of the bottom screen but for something like Go with the Floe, just have the whole level visible!
