1Thoughts on closing in on 100,000 accounts

Believe it or not, MKPC has over 95,000 members (excluding players that haven't made an account)! Ever since 2010, this community has grown and collected loads of people, with no previous following. Wargor simply made a game that (not accurate, don't ask my sources) has stuck with 120,000 people.
Now, I want you to debate whether any events or celebrations will be held to mark this event. I personally think Wargor will do a mini celebration on the front page to show that we've reached our goal.
Although around 90% of accounts made are either throwaways, annoying trolls or pure inactive people, they are a building block for this milestone. Feel free to disagree with me and others and state your reason for thinking that.

Fortnite Ballistic is so shit why are my teammates still in the womb and why are the enemies genetically modified 14 year olds that have a degree in Counter Strike 2 and Valorant. THE SHOTGUNS ARE SHIT, THE SNIPER IS GOD AWFUL AND THE ARS ARE BROKEN THIS IS SO UNBALANCED BASICALLY IF YOU DONT USE AN AR YOURE SCREWED

Typing this at around 1:40am and when I'm in this sleepy state I have random and foggy thoughts about various things, and I was wondering about the fact that MKPC calculates times at the millisecond but isn't any time unit lower than 1/240th of a second always irrelevant in this context since the game's FPS can't be set above 240 anyways?

oversimplifying as hell, not accurate
the game adds a value to your timer 15 times per second.
its almost always 67ms (1 frame at 15fps), unless you cross the finish line checkpoint.
when you do, the game compares your current and previous position and looks up how early or late you crossed the finish line checkpoint between the positions and adds a fraction of a frame to make it more accurate.
example below:
this is why top boo lake times on 150cc almost always are a multple of 0.067s because most of the time the player crosses the finish line at the exact same angle (in this case it's adding a whole frame for the finish line, it doesn't have to be tho)

I've seen your program... At first, even if I read the README.md, I've a little things it seems bad... Why you haven't file named appsettings.json and your settings are into a py file ?

the settings are named config.json and config_converter.py is a program to convert configs from the earlier versions into the new format, i specified that in the readme. if youve mever used any older version of this tool, there is no reason for you to use this.
to change settings, you are supposed to open config.json in a text editor like notepad and change the values to your liking.

- moved to a json based config system
- added a %_rainbow% tag to make a line rainbow colored
- added a gui character creator with pyqt5
- added a converter to port the old config to the new one for the 1 person that used it

The script will only delete $ signs at the beginning of the line.
Changed the ^ for another , in the config system to avoid confusion.

Added --replace-asterisk launch option (along with --about). If you *write like that a lot* the script will convert that into italic.
Fixed an issue where the script would prioritise characters earlier in the config file. If there's a name conflict, it will choose the longer name from the config file.
Characters that use CSS injection are now working.
